Rayon looked like he was about to explode.
Veins bulged on his neck as he turned toward Damor with killing intent. If looks could kill, Damor would have been torn apart already.
"Stop the bullshit and finish this," Rayon snarled, his fists clenched so tight that his nails dug into his palms.
"No," Damor replied calmly and raised his hand.
Rayon froze for a moment, staring at him in disbelief.
"I take pride in my words," Damor said, his voice steady and cold. "Once I say something, I see it through to the end. I have made an offer, so we will do this properly."
Rayon's eyes burned with rage. "And what if you lose?" he snapped angrily. "What then?"
Damor slowly turned his head and looked at Rayon. A faint smile touched his lips.
"Then we will attack somewhere else," he replied casually.
Rayon took a sharp breath. "You—"
