Day 4 in NYC:-
Keifer's POV
I woke up when the warm sunrays pierced through the window and fell on me.
The first thing I saw was jay, sprawled all over me. Literally! She had somehow managed to climb over me in her sleep. Arms wrapped around my waist, her legs tangled with mine, head resting on my chest right above my heart, drooling all over my shirt and smiling happily in her sleep like a baby who found her favourite toy.
I couldn't help but smile softly as I admired her, sleeping peacefully without a care in the world, like she didn't increase our stress levels yesterday by vanishing into thin air. And after that she just had to show up with elena and that philip😒
I frowned at just the thought of his name.
Great, now he even managed to ruin my little peaceful morning time of admiring my love😭
But then I remembered what happened after afterwards. The problems, the case, Jay's scared, helpless and tired face.
It made my heart clench painfully.
Then I remembered what she said in this room, me being gay?!
Oh wifey, u have no idea what u did to me, what u awoke in me! Last night u were flustered and hid like a cute little scaredy rabbit but today, and every day after that, I won't stop until I make sure u know that I'm straight and ready to mingle but only with u😏
I was still lost in thought when I heard the room door open with a loud bang followed by Zia storming into the room like she owns the whole place.
Zia: Jay do u-
She stopped mid sentences when she saw me and Jay in one bed with jay on top of me, her eyes widened, jaw on the floor, frozen in place like a statue. She blinked a few times, then screamed!
Zia: OMG!
I quickly covered Jay's ear so that her sleep doesn't get disturbed by Zia's screaming.
Keifer: Can u lower ur volume a bit. Can't u see that jay is still sleeping.
She stepped closer, glaring at me, a finger pointed at me like I was a criminal.
Zia: What r u doing in her room?! And why is she sleeping on u like....that!!
Before I could say anything, others ran in the room, breathing heavily but froze when they saw jay sleeping in my arms.
Mason: What's going on here?
Felix: Can't u see, hubby and wifey r sleeping😜
Tripp: Congrats on becoming Jay's personal pillow🤣
Ci-n: Can I expect a playmate soon?😃
Calix: You're not supposed to be here ci-n, this is adult stuff. Go to ur room!🤭
Ci-n: Hey you're not my mom, u can't tell me what to do😤
Rory: Guys maybe we should come back later.😏
Mj: Yeah let's give them some privacy😏
Just then aries also came in the room, pushing through the crowd.
Aries: What's happening here? Why r u all in my sister's room?
They all pointed at me and jay while failing to hide their giggles.
Aries expression changed from confusion to pure rage in seconds!
Aries: What the fuck r u doing Watson?! How dare u sleep on the same bed as my sister!!🤬
Keifer: I'm not sleeping beside ur sister. I'm sleeping beside my girlfriend and my soon to be wife😌😏
" Aieeeee ", cheered section e.
Hearing the commotion, jay stirred awake. She looked at me, then her position and then finally at everyone around the room.
Jay's POV
I was sleeping peacefully, happily dreaming about a land full of food when my sleep got disrupted by some voices.
I woke up to find my room filled with my friends, looking at me and keifer with amusement.
I slid away from keifer as I blinked at them, confused at first, then shouted at them.
Jay: What r u all doing in my room? Get out!
Kit: It's not our fault. We heard Zia screaming so we came as fast as we could and then saw....this.
He said gesturing between me and keifer.
I turned towards Zia.
Jay: And why were u in my room?
Zia: I couldn't find my charger so I came here to borrow urs but didn't expect to see u hugging keifer like ur personal pillow and drooling all over him! U broke the rules of the punishment!☹
Mica: And u broke Tito's rules, no boys allowed in the girls room.
Kent: If they broke the rules then why can't we☹😭
Edrix: The punishment has been breached too many times now, I say forget the punishment!!😤
Ci-n: Yes pls😁
Rory: Come on girls, the boys have suffered enough, let the punishment go now.
Thyme: Plssss I can't handle this anymore!😫
Mateo: We all r really sorry and guilty. Pls, drop the punishment.
Denzel: We won't do anything like this without ur permission ever again!
Freya( checking her nails ): The video from that fitness challenge is still up and viral.
Aum: Maybe u guys like the fame and r just acting guilty to make us drop the punishment😏
Aya: I think we should increase the punishment for that.
Gorya: One more month should be good enough.

Zia: Uh hello! Can u all focus on the main reason we're here!

Just as those words left his mouth, a voice came from the door.
Kuya angelo: Tell me about what? What r u all doing here?
Everyone stepped back as he glanced around the room, his eyes landed on me and keifer sitting on the bed, his eyes burning with rage.
Shit jay! This is it. Today's the day u'll die and that too on an empty stomach😭
He started walking towards me. I slowly sank back in bed, trying to turn invisible.
Play dead before kuya angelo actually kills u jay😰
Without a word, he pulled my ear, dragging me out of bed. I quickly stood up, wincing in pain.
Kuya angelo: JASPER JEAN MARIANO what r u doing in bed with a guy?!
Jay: Kuya...ah..nothing happened I swear. We just slept next to each other.
Kuya angelo: Why did u even let him sleep here?
Jay: He was the one who came in my room. Pull his ear, leave my poor, innocent ear alone kuya pls😭
Aries: After spending so much time around section e, I doubt there innocent😒
Jay( glaring at him ): What's that supposed to mean, u horoscope!
Kuya angelo: Stop it. Both of u!
Jay: He started it! And kuya can u let me go now. It hurts🤧
Keifer: Boss let her go. We did nothing wrong.
Aries: Nothing wrong? U don't get to sleep with each other and say it's not wrong!
Keifer: We slept next to each other. There's a difference! And we're a couple so there's nothing wrong in it.
Aries: U-
Kuya angelo: Stop it! Everyone out! Jay jay, go get ready, the breakfast is ready already.
He said and let go of my ear.
Kuya angelo: What r u all waiting for? An invitation? Out now! U also keifer.😤
They all left quickly. Kuya angelo stopped by the door, glanced outside to check if everyone had went then turned back to look at jay.
Kuya angelo: I won't tell Mr.Mariano, mom or anyone who wasn't present here about what happened here and I'll make sure no one else will but u have to tell me what's fully going on here jay. I'm worried about u. If anyone's troubling u just say so and leave the rest to me.
Jay: I'll try my best to explain everything to u today at the meeting. We'll leave after breakfast.
Kuya aneglo nodded and then left.
I went to the bathroom and freshened up quickly and went to have breakfast.
" Good morning jay ", everyone greeted me as I entered the dinning hall.
Jay: Good morning everyone. What r u guys doing here?
I asked to drew, eman, blaster and the others who were supposed to be looking after percy in the hospital.
Drew: We couldn't miss breakfast!
Eman: And I couldn't miss helping tita gema prepare everything.
Blaster: And I'm gonna punch percy if I see him obsess over his face one more time! U have no idea what terror we went through last night jay🤧
Josh: He sleep talks about himself. A lot!
Eren: Didn't even let us sleep with all his loud chit chat to himself in his sleep.
Drew: U owe us for making us watch over him jay.
Jay: Why me? It was keifer's decision and u still haven't paid me back so u owe me, not the other way around.
Mayo: He's ur brother!
Papa: Ok ok kids, no fighting or bickering before breakfast. And jay, I already put some guards in percy's room. These r our guests, I can't let them stay over at the hospital and miss out on enjoying their trip.
Jay: Ok then.
Tita gema: Come eat breakfast before it gets cold jay.
Philip: Jay I saved u a seat.
He said and pulled out the seat next to him like a gentleman. Everyone stopped what they were doing and turned to look between keifer and Philip.👀😶
He's really trying to get himself killed, isn't he?🤦♀️
Jay: Um I'll....I'll be back.
I said and walked into the kitchen. I was going there anyways to get some ice for my ears😭 My poor ears r red from all the pulling aries and kuya angelo did last night and this morning!😭🤧
I returned with an ice pack compressed against one ear and before anyone could say anything, I sat between keifer and dad. It looks like while I was gone robin had took the empty seat next philip and elena took the other one. Phew😮💨 Thanks to these two no murders will happen before breakfast😌
The breakfast resumed with a little 🤏 chaos, tension, death glares, teasing, a little scolding from tita gema to kuya angelo and aries for making my ears swell and too much stress for me to handle🤧 My appetite is being affected bcz of everything going on! I just want some peace and quiet and sleep, oh and food!😫 but ig it's too much to ask for😔😭🤧
Then came the unexpected question( s ) that made me choke on my rice🤯😰😵
Papa: So jay, how serious r u and keifer in this relationship? I mean, what do u feel about each other? Do u really love each other?
And queue the choking!☠ Papa immediately handed me a glass of water and keifer gently rubbed my back. I quickly drank the whole glass in one gulp!
Keifer: R u ok jay?
Jay( voice hoarse from choking ): Yep, absolutely fine👍
Papa: R u sure jay?
I coughed a few more times then my voice came back to normal.
Jay: Yes papa. I'm fine now😊
There was an awkward silence as everyone resumed with there breakfast.
Papa: So back to my question-
Jay: Papa-
Keifer( confidently ): Yes sir. I'm really serious about jay. I love and care for her a lot. And besides my mom, she's the only woman in my life that makes me feel this way.....sir.😐
Papa nodded silently. Then turned to me.
Papa: And what about u jay?
Everyone turned to look at me like waiting for the climax scene of some drama. I glanced at all of them staring at me, then back at papa's scrutinizing gaze shifting between me and keifer.
Jay: Do we really have to do this infront of everyone😶
Kuya angelo: Answer the question jay.
Jay: Well, u all already know my answer.
I said and held keifer's hand under the table.
Jay: Yes papa. I love him a lot too papa. He's the only one for me too and I'm just as serious about him as he is about me.
Papa( crossing his arms ): So.....What's next? Where is this headed?
Keifer: Hopefully, a wedding😅😂
I subtle kicked him under the table.
Keifer: But not right away sir!
He added.
Keifer: I know jay wants to make a name for herself first and experience working first. So the next step is to complete college sir. And when Jay's ready, with her permission and urs, we'll get married and then plan a family but only when she's ready.
The room seemed to be still as keifer explained, everyone held their breath. Papa silently stared at him, his protective father mode 💯 on!
Papa: Keifer.
He finally said.
Papa: If u ever hurt her or something, I'll-
Keifer: U don't have to worry about that sir. I'll never do anything that makes jay uncomfortable. I know the meaning of the word ' consent ' and I always respect and stand by Jay's decisions, even when some r really risky I still back her up and protect her. I won't EVER do anything without her full consent and I'll never cross a line she doesn't want me to cross. She and my brothers r my entire world. And besides, I'm pretty sure if I do something stupid, I'll end up in a hospital bcz honestly speaking, her punches r really strong😰🤧
Everyone chuckled under their breath.
Ci-n: Yeah I can relate tito. Jay punches me a lot🤧
Kit: I think her snacks and punches r the main reason we don't end up doing stupid stuff all the time.
Felix: Yeah, she's the only on whose can control us like that.
Rory: She's our mutya for a reason😎🔥
Drew: And we're her warriors😎🔥
Edrix: And keifer's the only one who can control her outburst the best out of all of us.
Blaster: And can't forget the fact that's he's our translator for Jay's alien language.
They all nodded instantly.
Gagos! All of them! True ulupongs! Let them come to me for help next time, I'll show them! Starting with their king😤
David: And besides all of that, he's a really great leader and friend.
Keigan: And an amazing kuya.
Keiran: Ate jay is in good hands tito. Pls give them ur blessings🥺🙏
He said using his best puppy face.
Papa looked at all of them, then at keifer and at me. Then shook his head, chuckling under his breath.
Papa: U guys really love jay and keifer, don't u?
Ci-n( proudly ): They're basically the representatives of section e. Our jayfer. Our section's power couple😌😎🔥🤟🧿
David: And the only one's who can truly keep us in line.
Denzel: Also solve our problems, even if they r dealing with there own problems, they never fail to help us out in our time of need.
Grace: Grazel jay and I wouldn't be here if it weren't for there meddling.
Eman: My family restuarant would be gone and I'd be a school drop out.
Drew: I'd be in debt.
Calix: Me and mica wouldn't be together.
Ci-n: I would still be called a thief, even if I was innocent and no one would be there to stand against my family or be with me when I'm at my lowest.
Mayo: Kit and I would probably be broken up and still not out yet.
Edrix: Me and freya wouldn't be a thing.
Felix: I wouldn't have a basketball career to look forward to nor a scholarship to help me get into college.
David: And that all is just the gist. Thanks to ur daughter's meddling, we all have a better life and a future to look forward to and thanks to keifer, we're still here.
Aries( muttering under his breath ): Still a trouble maker and an annoying, smug monkey😒🙄
Everyone ignored him.
Ci-n( dramatically ): So plssss give them ur blessings tito, we can't live without them🤧
Papa just chuckled again. We all looked at him in confusion.
Papa: Even if u all hadn't said that, I'd still give them my blessings. To me, my daughter's happiness matters the most and I've seen how much keifer cares about her and how much she cares about keifer. And who am I to stand in the way of such a pure, rare and true kind of love. So yes, if u guys want to get married someday, u have my full support😊
" Really😃 ", everyone asked at once.
Papa: Yes. U have my full support😁
Everyone cheered. I sat frozen in my seat, unaware of what to do.
Keifer( excitedly ): Thank u sir. Thank u so much. I swear u won't regret it😐
Papa: U better be a man of ur word keifer and pls call me dad, future son-in-law🤭
Keifer hesitated for a second and then nodded.
Keifer: Ok d..dad.
Papa stood up and pulled keifer into a hug.
Jay: Hey I'm also here☹🤧
Papa: Come here jay.
He said and pulled me into the hug.
Ci-n( shouting ): Celebratory group hug!!
Everyone joined in the hug, nearly knocking me of balance in the process.
Ci-n: Percy is going to be so jealous when he hears about this😈😆
Papa: Ok ok, everyone can let go now. Oxygen is still a thing.
Everyone let go and went back to their seats to resume eating their food with a new wave of happiness.
After breakfast, everyone was gathered around in the living room. Ci-n, keiran and keigan were playing video games. The girls were gossiping. Mj, edix and rory was busy hacking. The others busy with their own stuff.
Kuya angelo( walking into the living room ): Ok jay let's go.
Ci-n: Where r u going?
Before I could say anything, kuya angelo answered for me.
Kuya angelo: It's a family thing. U all can't come so u better be on ur best behavior and try not to burn the house down.
Ci-n: But I'm basically family so I can come.
Keiran: Me too. Jay's my ate. Can we pls come too. I'm bored beating ci-n at Mario cart.
Ci-n: It was just one round!😒
Keifer( standing up ): I'm also coming.
Drew: Us too. We're section e. We're family too.
Jay: Sorry guys but we can't take u all😅

Drew: And I spent the whole night in the hospital. I'm definitely not going back there any time soon!😤
Blaster: Same. I can still hear his sleep talk. It's gonna haunt me forever.
Eren: On the plus side, he revealed some pretty good techniques to become more handsome and get the ladies attention😏😎

Jay: We can if elena ever decides to get her head out the freezer!
I said glancing in the kitchen.
Elena( sticking her head out the freezer ): Hey I'm just trying to stock up on some medical supplies just in case. I got some ice packs in the cooler, first aid kit and...what else am I missing? Oh yeah my phone!
Keifer( narrowing his eyes ): Why do u need medical supplies?
Elena: um....stuff happens. U can never be too prepared😅😁
Philip: Do I really have to go too? I can stay here and help the team.
Zia: Oh no bro, we got this. U just...handle things over there and( leans closer to whisper) good luck.
Then mj gave him a big hug.
Mj( whispering ): Try to come back in one piece bro.
Then the rest of my team hugged him one by one while the others looked at them with confused expressions.
Philip: R u sure u guys don't wanna come?😰
My team took a step back from him.
Kent: Nope. We're all good.😊
Mj: Got a lot of work to finish here😁
Lia: U guys should really be on ur way now.
Jay( rolling her eyes ): U guys r over reacting too much. Nothings gonna happen.

Elena( raising her cooler and first aid kit ): But I'm still taking the medical supplies though, just in case.
Freya: Alright I'm asking now. WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE?!😤
Before anyone could say anything, a voice came from the staircase.
Papa( coming downstairs ): Everyone ready?
Jay: Yep. Let's go papa.
Then me, papa, kuya angelo, aries, philip and elena said our good byes and went to our meeting place.

I left u guys hanging for 11 freaking days! and went deadly silent😅 I'm sorry guys I was kidnapped by family and went in a trip😆 it was a little sudden so I didn't get the time to inform u all and I didn't even have internet sk I couldn't. And when I could finally open my app for a little bit, the comment section was filled with u guys saying that I'm ignoring u guys and ghosting u. - Arrival of someone( Name rhymes with money and is close u angelo🤐 that's a really big clue😆 ) If u got it then tell me what I should make the trips encounter be like( ion, angelo and the not so mystery woman😏 )
- Section e finding out who that file belonged to( the one jay took other than hers and Percy's ) and keeping it a secret from keifer? But why? And what will happen when he does get to know who it belongs to.
- The investigation of Jay's mom takes an unexpected turn( some if u might have already guessed it as I did ask about it in one of the previous chapters🤫 )
- Problem with the Martinez clan might be unleashed and what's happening with philip😏😉 And what will section e's and keifer's reaction when he does get to know what's going on☠
- Maybe a little romantic and a little spice if I can fit everything in the chapter. If I can then the NYC trip might end in the next chapter or in the chapter after that. Depends on u guys mostly.
