Tyler's POV:
Angel licked his lips. "You shouldn't threaten me."
I narrowed my eyes and replied lazily, "Why, what are you going to do about it?"
Angel crawls on me like a kitty cat. His body wasn't small like a woman but his build was smaller than mine.
Angel sat on me and said. "I hate when people threaten me, it makes me want to do terrible things to them."
With a cocky brow, "Like what?"
Angel grinned sinisterly with an angel face, "Like tearing their tongues from their bodies."
Angel whispered to my ear, "But since you changed your mind and came back to save me from that bastard, I won't rip your tongue from your body."
Angel gave me an evil smile that brought a chill down my spine and before I knew it, his white teeth glinted in the moonlight.
It wasn't like the kind in the movies you've seen vampires or werewolves' teeth, just ordinary teeth that eat candies or fruits that sank his teeth into my ear with a nasty crunch sound.
I nearly screamed from the pain and smacked Angel's side of the face so hard that a red handprint appeared like a flower.
Angel jolted but didn't remove his teeth from my ear and laughed like a wicked villain in a movie. My heart heated like a drum, and my hand trembled from fear and dread.
With every last strength in my arms and hands, I slammed Angel hard into the floor from the bed. The floor made a loud bang.
I looked up from my Angel's and noticed he was unconscious. Angel was lying down like an actual angel, except for the blood on the corner of his head, looking more like a devil.
Angel's eyes were closed and his clothes were messy.
My ears sting so badly that I tremble and I touch my ears. My ears nearly fell off. I felt sick to my stomach and I wanted to vomit on the spot.
When I gathered to my feet, I looked at Angel lying on the cold lonely floor, a cold rage flushed through me unlike anything else in the world. I truly wanted to kill this bastard.
I raised my legs and kicked him hard in the ribs. I gave him another kick before I felt tired, and I reached for my phone, calling my friend.
Nino.
I waited for another call.
No call.
I cursed.
I called again.
"What's up, man?"
" I need you. Come here."
Nino must have sensed something off in my tone, so he replied, "Coming, I'll be there in ten minutes."
The next ten minutes the doorbell rings. I opened the door, I let Nino in and he found Angel lying on the ground beside my bed.
He didn't look at Angel instead he looked astonished at my ear, "Don't tell me that bastard did that to you?"
I held my ears and said in a controlled voice. "Yes, apparently, I picked up a psycho. I need you to get rid of him while taking me to a hospital."
Nino sighed like an old man. "Fine, but it'll cost me."
I nearly glared at him while holding my ear.
Nino shrugged, "Hey, don't give me that look. If anyone finds out that you had me involved in a crime, it's my ass in jail, so don't blame me if it ain't free."
I took a deep breath and asked. "How much?"
Nino grinned. "$500."
I was relieved. I remembered I had some cash. $2,500 when I took it from that guy who made a proposition for Angel.
"Alright."
Nino looked at me suspiciously, "Really, you're not pulling my leg. Are you?"
I slapped his arm and replied. "Quit playing around. Come take me to the hospital and get rid of this bastard."
Nino grinned like a mischievous child, and he looked at the knocked-out Angel on the ground. He rolled up his sleeves and began to drag Angel by the end of his shoes.
I turned and went to the bathroom to get a rag to hold against my ears. There was so much blood everywhere, my ears, my shirt, and my hands.
And I was in so much pain. There were no words for it. Pure agony.
I walked out of my house and walked into Nino's car. He started to play rapper music on, and he said, "You need to deal with that old lady who saw me early, but her eyes are bad, so you should be able to trick her."
I groaned against the seat. "You mean the old hag with the orange hat next door?"
Nino laughed, "Yeah."
I asked, "What did you do with him?"
Nino turned the road, "It's in the truck sleeping very peacefully."
Nino calmly said, "You'll never see him again. I'll make certain of it."
His words nearly sent goosebumps on my skin and I said through gritted teeth. "Just put him somewhere at a park or an alley, don't kill him."
Nino grinned at me. "Dude, you know once you nearly killed him, you have to make it full away. We need to get rid of the body. The boy staying alive is too risky. I know a good place so nobody will find his body."
Nino had a darkness like black pitch with no light, and it didn't scare me. In a way, it made me feel comfortable.
"Don't do anything stupid."
Nino laughed joyfully.
I arrived at the hospital with my bleeding ear nearly fallen out. The stall and the hospital are shocked by the state of my ear and they had to give me twenty stitches. It was extremely painful that I nearly passed out and I had to use a ball squeezer in my hand so I wouldn't dig my palms.
The next thing I knew I received a phone call from the man I hadn't heard from in six years. Somehow, the doctors got my information, so they wanted my guardian to come; they called for my stepfather, who holds my legal guardianship.
My step-father speaks deeply over the phone like a politician, "Hello, son."
