Chapter 876 - Chapter 876

He only tilted his body slightly, and the bone blade that could slice through tank armor dropped past the tip of his nose, carving a deep gash into the ground.

The bug missed its strike and was about to lift its forelimbs again—when Saitama casually raised one foot.

Not to kick. Not to stomp any specific bug.

He simply lifted his foot… and lightly stepped down onto the ground.

The motion was relaxed and natural, like he was just shaking dust off the sole of his shoe.

"Idiot."

And then, in the next instant

"Boom!"

A suffocatingly heavy thud rose from deep underground, as if a gigantic heart had pulsed once at the very foundation of the city. Centered on Saitama's foot, an invisible shockwave burst outward in a perfect ring.

Where it passed, the ground rippled faintly like water. Gravel and dust on the street jumped half a foot into the air.

Right after that came a dense chain of soft "pff pff" sounds—like countless water balloons being crushed at the same time.

Within a hundred meters, every bug that was rampaging, every bug that was about to pounce, even bugs that had just dropped out of the rift all of them froze mid-motion.

They held their poses for a fraction of a second… then collapsed in unison like boneless sludge, going limp and still.

Their hard shells were completely intact.

But beneath those shells had already been pulverized into dust by that pure, violent physical vibration.

Spider-Man, who had just barely dodged the previous attack and was clinging to a wall catching his breath, witnessed the unbelievable scene.

The white lenses of his mask widened in shock. His mouth hung open like he could fit an egg in there. He looked at the bugs that had died instantly all over the ground, then looked at the bald man standing there—who was lowering his head to check whether bug goo had gotten on his shoe.

His brain went blank.

"W-what… just happened?" Peter muttered.

His enhanced senses told him the bugs were truly dead yet their bodies showed no external wounds at all. That level of vibration… did that bald guy do it? Just by… stomping?

After confirming his shoe wasn't dirty, Saitama nodded in satisfaction. Then he lifted his head toward the rift. still hanging open in the sky, and the bugs that kept pouring out of it.

"Not over yet? What a pain…" he sighed, clearly annoyed—like this was just some random incident that had interrupted his shopping.

Spider-Man snapped out of it and quickly swung closer, keeping a cautious distance as he asked, "S-sir… just now, that was you…?"

Saitama glanced at him and nodded. "Yeah. These bugs are noisy. They're messing up my grocery run."

His tone was as flat as if he were saying, "Nice weather today."

Peter stared at Saitama's completely ordinary, even slightly vacant expression feeling his entire worldview take a hammer to the face.

Who… what kind of person is this?!

Manhattan's bustling streets had already turned into scorched ruin. Deafening roars and explosions replaced the usual traffic and crowds. Hulk had completely lost control due to a gamma radiation anomaly of unknown origin, and raw destructive impulse dominated his massive body.

"HULK—SMASH!!"

The furious bellow came with a single punch, and a skyscraper dozens of floors tall lost an entire corner like it was made of toy blocks. Shattered stone and glass rained down
