"Doctor Strange! That big thing's weak point is the glowing spot under the third segment of armor on its abdomen!" Peter's voice suddenly came through the communicator.
He and Hawkeye had successfully escorted the captives to a safe area and returned to the core ice cavern. From a higher opening, they observed the battle below. Spider-Man's sharp eyes immediately caught the abnormal energy core on the ice-rock demon spider.
"Copy!" Strange's spirits lifted. He switched tactics at once—no longer trading blows head-on with the spider, but using his hovering advantage to circle and kite. Seraphim Shield precisely deflected the demon spider's attacks, while Sacred Sword of Vishanti struck at its vulnerable joints and compound eyes whenever the opening appeared, drawing its focus.
Hawkeye seized the moment. He nocked a customized armor-piercing explosive arrow. Like a meteor, it shot forward—hitting the weak point Peter had called out with pinpoint accuracy!
Pssht! Boom!
The arrow punched through the softer gap in the abdominal plating, drilled into its body, and detonated violently. The ice-rock demon spider let out a tortured screech. Its massive frame stiffened, its abdomen blown open into a gaping hole as blue "energy blood" and shredded internal fragments sprayed outward. Its movements immediately became sluggish and chaotic.
Strange would never waste an opening like that.
He instantly unleashed the powerful Form of Ikun. Several duplicates appeared at once, firing scorching magical rays together, continuously blasting the wound until the enormous spider was completely broken down into a heap of shattered crystal and fragmented carapace.
On the other side, Wanda faced another eerie flicker-ambush from the shadow panther—yet this time she stopped trying to pinpoint its real body.
Instead, she slammed both hands down toward the ground.
"Everything here… will be rewritten by me!"
A tide of crimson chaos energy flooded a wide area around her. Reality warped by force. The spatial rules of that zone shifted temporarily—the shadow panther's prized shadow-warp ability was stripped away in an instant. All afterimages vanished, and its true body tumbled onto solid ground in ugly disarray.
It tried to flee with speed alone, but Wanda had already predicted it. She raised her hand and clenched—
Crack!
The air around the shadow panther froze and compressed, forming an invisible cage that locked it in place. Then chaos power erupted, crushing it completely into drifting shadow-dust that scattered away.
Now only the frost hellhound remained, still circling Saitama.
It was viciously cunning—constantly using speed to harass with freezing breath, never once daring to collide with Saitama head-on.
"Peter!" Hawkeye shouted.
"Got it!" Peter fired several strands of webbing—not at the hellhound, but at the spots where it was about to land.
The hellhound dodged the webs with agile hops, but its movement path was instantly exposed. Hawkeye read it like a book—an explosive arrow flew to cut off its position!
Boom!
The explosion forced the hellhound to jump in a different direction—and that direction was exactly where Saitama was waiting.
"So you're finally done running?" Saitama sounded a little impatient. Seeing it leap right toward him, he answered with one simple, direct punch.
His fist moved faster than the hellhound could react.
Bang!
The punch hit perfectly under its jaw. The horrifying force transmitted through its entire body in an instant. The frost hellhound didn't even manage a whimper—its whole form detonated from the inside out, turning into an ultra-fine powder of ice crystals that drifted down like glittering snow.
Almost at the exact moment the three dark beasts were wiped out, the dark sorcerer finished his incantation.
He raised his wand toward the sky.
Above them, the dark-energy vortex at the cavern's ceiling spun frantically. In the center of that whirlpool, a pitch-black ice spear—condensed to the absolute limit and radiating destruction—began to take shape, locking onto everyone below.
