Two days later, Luxmi Bank officially became Raj Bank.
Suraj entered the office and said, "Boss, all procedures are done. Take these three files. One is the ownership documents, the second is the list of employees in major positions, and the third is the list of major loans given by the bank."
Raj took the files and looked at the ownership documents first. Then he told Suraj to go and do his own work.
Next, Raj opened the second file, which contained the details of major employees—those who took key decisions and had influence in the bank.
He saw the names and profiles of a total of 500 employees.
Raj wanted to check whether these employees were corrupt or using the bank for their selfish motives.
He picked up the names one by one and asked the system whether the employee was corrupt. The system answered with yes or no.
Out of 500 employees, a total of 200 were corrupt and using the bank for their own benefit—sanctioning loans by taking bribes or misusing bank funds.
Then he checked the files of those who had taken loans from the bank. He focused only on those who had borrowed above 1 lakh. There were a total of 200 such names.
Of them, 120 had declared that they could not repay the loan, while 80 were paying the loans with interest regularly.
He took the names of those who had declared they could not pay.
He asked the system whether they were really unable to pay. The system answered with yes or no.
Out of the 120, 90 could actually pay the loan but were pretending they could not, and they showed no property that the bank could take over.
Raj called Suraj to his office.
Suraj entered and said, "Boss, you need something?"
Raj gave him the employee files and said, "Those whose names are marked with a red line will be fired. First check their history—whether they have done any illegal activity in the bank in the past. You can ask their subordinates. If they disclose anything, their superior's post can be given to those who provide details."
Suraj took the file, looked at the names, and said, "Okay, boss, I will do it."
Raj then called Arjun Das, the head of the security department and secret head of ASUR.
ASUR now had 500 members, many of whom were acting as spies in government, among business tycoons, in the judiciary, or in underworld gangs. Every week they looted black money from corrupt people.
Arjun Das entered the office and said, "Boss, you called me."
Raj gave him the file and said, "Those with red lines are not paying their loans and declaring they can't pay. Use any method and recover the money."
Arjun Das took the file and said, "Okay, boss."
Raj asked, "How is the underworld now?"
Arjun Das said, "The underworld has been silent. Due to our ASUR, we have eliminated many lower gangs, and now only five or six gangs remain, in which we have killed many. Underworld influence has decreased by 90% this year. Within one or two years, there will be no underworld."
Arjun also said, "Due to our actions, a lot of black money, gold, and drugs coming into India have been stopped. These gangs are facing losses of hundreds of crores. Because of this, they cannot bribe politicians or police officers. Therefore, the police, without political pressure, are pressing these gangs more. These politicians want new gangs to take over and make money, but due to our actions, we eliminate them. Because of this, these politicians have also realised something bad is happening and stopped pressurising the underworld. They have recut contact and want to eliminate our mysterious organisation, but they cannot catch us."
Raj nodded and said, "Okay, do your work."
