Yunxi's eyes seemed to pierce through Li Qiang's soul as she hovered in the air, her spiritual qi radiating an aura of pure unbridled power. Li Qiang's face twisted in a mix of shock and fear as he shakily took a step back, the realization of Yunxi power up slowly dawn on him.

An explosion sounded as red flames spread through the thick trees.

A beast resembling a wolf but with a mane around it neck roared, it red flame like skin swayed with the wind and it wasn't alone surrounding it where beast of the same specie, they ran through the thick forest pursuing a man dressed in a black robe.
" Damn!" Sima Jian cursed as he ran, jumping from branch to branch clutching his bleeding abdomen, his once pristine robe now looked scorched with wisp of smoke emitting from him.
" Didn't I tell you to not to anger them by taking the core!!" The old man reprimanded him sternly, " The flaming wolf lion are known for vengeance, especially protective to their core!!"
Sima Jian grimaced as he smiled wryly, " The core was just too precious! Didn't you said that my flame intensity would increase if I refine the core?!"
The old man kept quiet and after a while he sighed, " Forget it, I sense five energies a few meters away from you use them to dispose of the flaming wolf lion!"
Sima Jian eyes brightened, " Thank you old man!"
Sima Jian increased his speed and soon saw the five energies the old man mentioned--they where humans---three men and two women each in the foundation establishment realm wearing a pure white robe with the emblem of a snowflake; the Immortal ice clan!
" Hmm?" One of the male in the immortal ice clan group frowned as he looked at the forest.
" Senior brother Yiming what happen?" A female from the group asked as she stared at Yiming.

A roar reverberated through the air instantly the pupils of the immortal ice clan group constricted.
" It's the flaming wolf lion!!" The second female in the group screamed in shock and fear.
" What?! Flaming wolf lion are known to be territorial what are they doing here?!" Another male screamed.
" Look! it seems they are pursuing someone!" The words of the other me instantly drew attention to the black robed man who swiftly ran on branches approaching them.
" Catch!" The black robed man shouted as he tossed a red orb towards them.

Bing Yiming instinctively caught the red orb, "Eh?"

The flaming wolf lions roared and before the group could react a flaming wolf lion pounced on Bing Yiming.
" Senior brother Yiming watch out!!" Bing Liyan screamed as she unsheathed her sword ready to assist Bing Yiming but a flaming wolf lion also pounced on her.

The claws of the beast struck Bing Liyan sword producing sparks of fire.
" We've been used!!" Bing Chenxi screamed as he fought against a flaming wolf lion.
The groups, though also knowing that they were used had no thoughts of facing the black robed individual instead they resolutely faced their opponents.
" Glacial slice!" Bing Yiming said as he retreated, the flaming wolf lion intending to pursue was sliced into two, but Bing Yiming didn't let his guard down as he narrowly stared at two more flaming wolf lion who attacked him.
Flaming wolf lion weren't strong individually, being only in the first stage of the foundation establishment realm but they're known to attack in groups which makes them as strong as an eight stage foundation establishment being.
" Arghhh!!" A piercing scream sounded through the battlefield, Bing Yiming instinctively looked to the side and immediately his pupils constricted as he watched as three flaming wolf lions brutally devoured his fellow clan member.
" Bing Chenxi!!!" Bing Yiming screamed as he stepped forward about to help Bing Chenxi but the flaming wolf lions didn't give him a chance.

A flaming wolf lion let out a roar as it opened it mouth thick flame spiritual qi rushed toward it's mouth forming a rotating fire ball.
Bing Yiming face became grim as he placed his hand forward, " ice coffin!"

A thick ice block appeared at his front.

The thick scarlet ball blast forward becoming a beam striking the ice block, creating cracks around it.
Bing Yiming gritted his teeth as he swiped his hand, " Glacial slice!"
The head of a flaming wolf lion was instantly decimated.
On a tree branch, Sima Jian calmly watched as the Immortal ice clan group fought fiercely against the flaming wolf lion.
" As expected, getting others to do the work for you is the best " Sima Jian muttered with a smile.

An explosion sound interrupted the old man speech as far off in the North a thick red pillar pierced the sky accompanied by the sound of a bird.
" Impossible!!" The old man screamed in disbelief.
" Hey old man what happen? " Sima Jian asked as he stared at the red pillar which pierced the sky, " Do you know what's that?"
" That's North! It is where the Phoenix origin blood is! Quick boy, don't hesitate, go claim the origin blood before anyone does!!" The old man shouted frantically.
" But..." Sima Jian stared at fight below, " My fiery core!"
" Forget about that, the origin of would increase your fire intensity by 10! Bs quick!" The old man shouted.
Sima Jian took one last glance at the battlefield below before he reluctantly rushed towards the North.
" Arghhh!!" Another scream sounded in the battlefield causing Bing Yiming face to darken as fron the corner of his eyes he could see Bing Liyan, now with only one hand retreating rapidly.
Bing Yiming snapped his head as he stared at the black robed man who ran away, " If I survive this, don't let me catch you!!!"
