"Grey!" I throw the door open before I run out to the yard.
He runs up to me happily, his mouth set in a wide grin, his tongue hanging out. I hug him tightly, nuzzling my head on his neck.
Luckily he isn't bloodied this time because of almost no blood in other werewolves' systems. So I hug him and cling to him all I want. Grey starts to lick me all over my face and nudges my chin with his head. His tail is wagging happily as he lets out little excited barks.
"I missed you, my savior." I coo at him once I pull away. He closes his eyes once I start giving him scratches behind his ears.
I press a kiss on his head before I look behind him at the she-wolf who just saved us. She is standing there with her wounds healing a bit all on their own. I wave at her with a smile, and she turns her back to me, about to leave.
"Wait! Who are you?" I jog to her and block her way.
She continues to stare at me, and I realize that she can't speak like this.
