Next morning, Ethan woke up early, but sleep was far from his eyes. The mysterious message from last night kept playing in his mind — *"Found you."* He knew Derek was closer than ever.
Lena was still asleep. Ethan looked at her peaceful face and felt a strong need to protect her.
He made strong coffee and sat at the kitchen table. His phone rang suddenly. It was an unknown number.
"Who is this?" Ethan answered cautiously.
A cold, calm voice spoke, "You're in way over your head, Ethan. Stay away from Lena if you want to stay safe."
The line went dead.
Ethan's heart pounded. He looked outside, the street was empty — but he felt eyes watching him.
Later, Ethan met Lena at the café. "Derek knows about us," Ethan said quietly. "He warned me to stay away from you."
Lena's eyes filled with tears. "I never wanted to bring danger here. But it's too late now."
They both realized the past was catching up — and it was stronger than either of them imagine.....
