RUHAAN'S POV :
"Are you okay? They didn't hurt you, did they..."
She shook her head slowly.
"I...I...." She stammers a little bit at first.
"I was so scared. I've been afraid of the darkness since childhood!!"Finally, she spoke.
"I don't know why..."
Her breathing started getting fast again.
" Hey , hey it's okay you don't need to say anything. Let's get out of here, hmm."
I helped her up, but she wasn't able to stand properly and kept falling. That's why I did what I thought was right at that moment.
Wait...
I picked her up bridal style .
Hey.. what are you doing!! She tried to protest
"You can't walk yet, so shut up"

ASHVI'S POV :
He picked me up, and I don't know why I felt safe with him. It felt like as long as he was there, nothing would happen to me.
And then we started to get out of there, but I was scared someone would see us, so I told Ruhaan to put me down. At first, he refused, but maybe he also felt my weight was too much... I mean
I don't know its my feeling like maybe I've gained a bit of weight these days. Last time I checked, it was 49, and mom says no matter how much I eat, it doesn't show on my body...
Then I interrupted my own thoughts. "Ugh, Ashvi, no matter the situation, my stupid thoughts will always come up ."
We started walking slowly, super alert, making sure no one was watching. Ruhaan's hand never left my side.
"You get out of here, the others are outside.
And you?" I asked, worried.
"Don't worry about me, I'll come. Just get out"
"No, I'm not leaving without you, please" I said,
"There are others here, Yash, Varun... maybe they need me, so I have to go. And if you leave, I won't have to worry"
"No,
Ashvi, please..." He was pushing me outside.
Our argument wasn't ending, and then suddenly, someone attacked Ruhaan's back with something, and he fell to his knees .
"Ruhaan!" I shouted.
And it was him who had kidnapped me.
"Ashvi, please go from here" he was saying again and again, and I was crying. How could I leave him behind...
"No, how can I leave you... you're here because of me"
Just then, AJ came in front of me and grabbed my hair, pulling me towards him.
"Aahh" I was screaming, but no one was helping.
" Ruhaan Raina, you think you're so smart, huh? You thought you'd come here and take on my guys? Play games with me? What, did you think I'm stupid or something?"
"There's nothing to think , you're the stupid and weak one. You targeted Ashvi just to get me here, and you told me to bring just a few people with me.
You know why?
"Cuz you are so fucking weak "
"What did you say?" he said angrily, and then he started beating Ruhaan.
I panicked and picked up a rod lying nearby and hit him on the head. As he started to lose consciousness, I started throwing punches at him.
It was Ruhaan who stopped me later. "It's okay, it's enough" he calmed me down.
Just then, the others arrived, and everyone rushed to me. "Ashvi, are you okay? Did he hurt you anywhere?" Yash was the one who asked first.
"I'm fine, nothing happened" I replied.
Then he went to his best friend and was helping him up.
When I was looking at both of them, a sudden thought came to my mind. These two are really good friends. I remember Harry telling me last time that they've been together since childhood and have always been there for each other, no matter what. And Ruhaan trusts him the most.
But these two are so different from each other. I mean, from what I've seen so far, Yash is such a calm, sweet, and thoughtful person, and Ruhaan... huh...
Anyway, these two are really good friends, and I really hope they always remain like this, and there's never any fight or argument between them .
