Chapter 195 - 195

All the students were dumbfounded, and the entire place fell silent.

Jason glanced around and said calmly,"It seems everyone is very satisfied. Just keep it up."

"Yes, Boss," the general manager replied respectfully.

Everyone was speechless. It wasn't that they had no suggestions — they were simply too shocked to think. Their minds had gone blank. How were they supposed to offer feedback?

Ethan swallowed hard and couldn't help asking again,"Jason… seriously, how much money do you have?"

"I told you," Jason said casually, "I'm not sure. I haven't counted carefully."

He wasn't lying.

He currently had over 1.11 billion in system. A portion had already been spent. Some of it had been shifted into assets — some depreciating, like cars, watches, villas; others appreciating, like Evergreen Court, NewVision Media, and Sky Technologies. Some had yielded massive profits, like Estates, Bay harbor deployment, the map, and the portrait.

Calculating his exact net worth at this point really was complicated. He felt he would need to form a unified company later to manage everything properly.

Hearing this, Ethan was stunned speechless again. So were the others — Jason's effortless "Versailles" responses felt insane, yet strangely, no one felt annoyed.

Because Jason wasn't arrogant toward them. He was polite and easygoing. And today, thanks to him, they had received a free lunch, VIP access to every ride, no lines whatsoever. How could they dislike him?

Instead, they felt a deep sense of satisfaction watching Lucas totally deflate.

"You were showing off earlier — what about now?"

"That friend you made us wait for? If he showed up and saw Jason, he'd be the one paying for our meals."

"You thought the staff were nice because of your connections, and you took your temper out on us. Turns out they were looking at Jason's face the whole time. You were just a clown."

Afterward, they enjoyed drinks and snacks at the White Tiger Restaurant and watched the tiger show. The atmosphere warmed quickly — Lewis had finally shriveled up completely.

Meanwhile, Tanya Covell grew even more clingy to Jason. She called him "Young Master Jason" in a sweet, almost theatrical tone, laughing softly and leaning against Jason's shoulder from time to time.

Lewis's face darkened like bruised liver — he looked seconds away from exploding — but even so, he held himself back. He no longer had the courage to compete. All he felt now was embarrassment.

After finishing their snacks and watching the White Tiger performance, someone suggested getting dinner together using the leftover activity funds.

Originally, the activity fund was for lunch only — but since Darek paid for lunch, the budget remained untouched. Everyone had enjoyed the day so much they didn't want to leave yet, so they agreed enthusiastically.

They chose a nearby barbecue restaurant and prepared to go.

Others went to retrieve their cars, while Jason's Bugatti was driven up by a valet.

This time, Ethan didn't ride with Jason — he followed Darek's car instead.

Tanya Covell's eyes lit up when she saw Jason's car pull up, and she walked over with a bright, sweet smile.

"Mr. Carter, can I ride in your car?"

"You can," Jason replied casually. He felt nothing for Tanya anymore, but giving her a ride was nothing. Letting her sit in the passenger seat would still earn him good Favorability.

"Thank you! I've never ridden in such a beautiful car before," Tanya said softly, her eyes curving into crescents.

"You're welcome. Get in," Jason said, heading toward the driver's seat.

But when he reached the door, he noticed Tanya standing beside the passenger seat — not opening it.

Tanya's best friend whispered, a bit embarrassed, "Tanya always has guys open the door for her. It makes them seem gentlemanly — girls love that, you know."

Jason nodded…but he didn't move.

Instead, he opened the driver's door, got in, and said plainly:

"Sorry. I'm not a gentleman, and I don't have the habit of opening doors for girls."

He started the engine, the Bugatti's roar echoing across the lot —and drove off without a backward glance.

Tanya and her friend froze on the spot, completely stunned. A moment later, Tanya's face flushed red.

The boys standing nearby stared with wide eyes.

Summers and the short-haired girl next to her blinked — then burst into laughter.

Darek just nodded, as if it was completely natural. To him, Jason was handsome, wealthy, and extraordinary. Countless women would line up to sit in his Bugatti — they had to earn emotional value just to get close.

And Tanya? She wanted Jason to open the door for her?

Ridiculous.

Ethan wasn't surprised at all. He had personally watched top-tier female streamers orbit around Jason, all trying to gain favor. Tanya hadn't done anything yet — and still expected special treatment?

Meanwhile, Lucas felt a surge of rage. Jason dared treat the girl he'd spent all day pampering like that?!

Then, just as quickly, he felt a spark of joy.

Jason was so ungentlemanly — surely Tanya would be furious and avoid him.Didn't that mean Lucas had another chance?

He rushed forward.

"He won't even open a door for a girl? Really not a gentleman. Tanya, don't mind him — ride with me."

He hurried to open his passenger door, ready to play the "perfect gentleman."

But Tanya spun around sharply.

"Don't talk nonsense! You can't say he's not a gentleman — he just has character. I was being way too much of a princess! I should've opened the door myself!"

She stomped her foot in frustration — at herself.

Lucas froze…mouth open…eyes wide…

He left you — and that's "character"?!

I'm helping you — and I'M the one talking nonsense?!

His face turned ugly, colors shifting between pale and green. He could barely breathe from the humiliation.

"I'm not riding with you," Tanya added quickly. "What if Jason misunderstands?"

Lucas nearly passed out.

Misunderstand?!

You and Jason didn't even have anything yet!

Then what about me picking you up from the station today? What about all my kindness, care, and attention?

What did that count for?!

Jealousy, bitterness, and humiliation surged in Lucas's chest.

Tanya was just a gold-digger after all…

He had always known this deep down — that's why he'd flaunted his money nonstop. But now that someone richer crushed him effortlessly, suddenly it felt unbearable.

Tanya happily went to ride in Darek's car, leaving Lucas trembling with rage and shame.
