[Chiron POV]
I have witness this seen far too many times demi-gods fighting for their lives but these four have had to deal with too much. It's clear Hades wants that girl dead to send so many monsters after her I truly pity the child. At least she holding her own I haven't seen talented like hers in quite some time, but that boy was even more impressive. It was easy to tell he was trained in the basic but really caught my attention was his ability to use pyrokinesis.
This made wonder who his parent was my first guess was Hephaestus, but his children haven't inherited that ability in long time. Before I could continue that train thought I spotted a boy running towards the boundary he was carrying girl over shoulder. He was being chased by some hell hounds the boy was fast probaby a child of Hermus, but he was slowing down. I couldn't interfere with the battle, but I could help with this.
After living so long I tell with a glance which demi-gods had the potential to became truly great these four all gave me that feeling. Perhaps if they could bring the necessary changes this camp needs I'm thinking too far ahead first, they need to survive tonight first.
''Archer's notch'' I yelled.
The Apollo children let loose their arrows striking down the monsters that were chasing the boy he finally passed through the border nearly collapsing.
''Take them to the infirmary'' I ordered.
''I'm going back they need help'' said the young man clearly exhausted.
''You're too tired to help anyone now you must rest now child'' I stated.
''Please help them'' said the girl.
''If I could I would have already done so my child this battle will depends on your friends have fate in them'' I said kindly.
I'll admit these brats are making for some good entertainment'' said Dionysus as he summoned food and wine.
''Lord Dionysus'' I said tiredly.
''Yeah, I know sometimes I forget'' he said as he swapped the wine for soda.
[MC POV]
The longer I fought the more anger I felt this was my fetal flaw my anger I inherited from Typhon I started using breathing techniques to help me clam down. Now was not the time to let my anger take hold I focus on the fight. I decide to transform into a giant python and rushed After the Nemean Lion while it was still down. I started to wrap myself around him he bit down on me and struggling to get out.
I ignored the pain and continued to wrap around him then I started to constrict in hopes of crushing him to death. But his strength was stronger than I expected it manged to break free of my grip It went for a attack but I change into a porcupine in the last second. This resulted in the Lion getting paw full of quills it didn't do much damage, but my dear brother did look irritated. He, charge at me at speeds he did not use before.
I turned into a turtle staying right in my place this was my chance to end it the lion pounced on me teeth already creaking my shell good thing I reinforce the shell with magic. I turned back into human and snatched a tooth right out his mouth. I quickly lunged my sword into its mouth while it was still surprise. I channelled my fire into sword the cooking the lion from the inside out it quickly turned into golden dust leaving behind its spoil of war.
Before I could react, I was hit hard in the back I went flying across the hill like a ragdoll I was slammed against a tree. I coughed out some blood pained coursed around my body, but I got up anyway. I looked at my would-be attackers four cyclops looking at me grinning like they won some prise. That pissed me off I am the son of Typhon raised and trained by Gaea and Nyx chosen by Chaos herself to become the next God King.
''We'll enjoy eating you boy'' said a cyclops.
''The strong ones are always the most delicious'' said another.
''The who gets the kill gets first pick'' spoke a third one.
''Come at you fuckers let me see what you got'' I yelled.
[Thalia POV]
The Minotaur charge even faster this but I was still able to dodge I used the same, strategy to injurie it again. This time the beast swung his arm in retaliation I summon my shield right before the hit lands it sends me flying a few meters away. I quickly go on offensive my body full electrices I appear behind it striking him the back. I follow up with strike to the legs this allowed to aim for his horns taking one his only weapons.
It healed from his wounds, but it was ragging just like I expected it charged at me with reckless abandonment. I charge my spear with even more lightening meeting the beast head on we close the distance in matter seconds. My spear pieces it's head like a hot knife through butter making it explode into golden dust. Before I could celebrate, I felt something hot slam into my back luckily the lightning protected me.
I turn around to four cyclops and three giants I was starting to get tired so I would have end this fast before I reach my limits. I let the stupid monster's surround just as they were about to attack, I used Electric Arc. The attack generated powerful electric bolts that hit all the monsters at once this severely wounded all of them giving me an opportunity to end it. I manipulated the air and wrap it around myself like blanket.
Thanks to Adam I was able to use my powers in more creative ways air dash enhanced my speed buy a lot. I was able to take out five of the monsters in one move the last two cyclops recovered and swung at me using ther axes. I dodge the first blow but blocked the second one with my shield the force of the blow made my bones shake. Dammit I was tired it's time to end this I started to summon lightning clouds preparing to kill them all.
The lightning stuck the cyclops and several other monsters on the battlefield killing a lot of them there still many monsters, but it was more manageable now. Hellhounds started to attack but they were easy to deal with compared to the others. The spear and shield combo was proven to be affective the shield did a good job in making the dogs hesitate. I looked around for Adam trying to find him in the chaos then suddenly I hear a-
BOOM
Adam had somehow made some type of fire explosion many monsters got caught up in the blast, but something was off. Adamas seemed different then before he was attacking with reckless abandonment none of the skill and finesse, I was used to seeing. He seemed angry fire was burning where his eyes should be I had to help him before he got himself killed. I pick myself up using my spear and starting to run towards him.
''Hey Adam get it together you're attacking like one the monster-
Before I finish, I felt something hard slam into my ribs I heard several cracks happen in my body as I was sent flying away. As I was sent flying, I caught sight of what had attack me it was giant serpent-like creature with two arms the spit from its mouth was melting the grass melt. I struggle to get back to my feet it felt like my ribs were broken I barley breath let alone move. So, this is how I die I thought at least when out protecting my friends.
''Give your best shot you fake ass dragon'' I yelled.
The beast somehow looked angered by statement he prepared his tail for another strike I close my eyes waiting for the inevitable. I waited and waited until I open my eyes to see Adam carrying me in his arms, I couldn't help but blush this so embarrassing.
''Put me down you idiot'' I yelled.
''Is that how you so gratitude to person who saved your life'' he said in a teasing voice that irritated me.
''Your tired carrying me will slow you down'' I argued.
''I be fine plus I always wanted to rescue a damsel in distress like true hero I want let your pride ruin my dream'' he stated.
''Dumbass'' I muttered.
He was running towards the camp but the Drakon jumped ahead of us and blocked our path.
''Im finna throw you don't do something like comeback for me'' I said.
''Wait what-
Suddenly I was thrown over the Drakon it was about to attack me but just before it could it was hit with Multiple fire balls. I thought I was about to land the ground, but someone caught me I turned around to see Luke.
''I got you your safe now'' said Luke.
''Are you ok'' asked Annabeth.
''She is not I can the right side of her ribs are broken take her to the infirmary immediately'' ordered Chiron.
[MC POV]
Dammit I let my rage take over and blind me while I was acting like some wild animal a damn Drakon sneak up on us and almost killed Thalia. Thalia, Luke and Annabeth have become my first friends in this life to almost lose one due to my weakness infuriated me to know end. Besides the Drakon there still other monsters they were all surrounding me now at least a chance to my anger out on them.
Just as I was about to attack I felt something instinctual and primal coming for my being I hadn't felt this since I learned how to use my powers. I let the instinct take over trusting whatever this feeling was would help me.
''STAND DOWN WORMS''
My voice was deep, intimidated and commanding if I didn't know any better, I've would have thought someone else said that. To my shock several monsters backed down and left the only one remaining was the Drakon whatever I did wasn't enough to stop it. Putting aside what I did for later it was time to focus on the Drakon. I didn't have much mana left and I was getting tired I would have to make every attack count.
Before I could continue to think that Drakon swung his enormous at me I was able to dodge out the way luckily it wasn't too fast. It swung its tail again this time in rapid motion I dodge every strike trying to be efficient as possible with my movements. Finally, I found an opening and attack using move I called fire lance it can burn and pierce simultaneously. Unfortunately, all it did was make scar well at least I know how much force I'll need.
The Drakon launched acidic spit at me I wouldn't be able to dodge so I created a fire shield that burned it away. If it was only acidic, I wouldn't be afraid of taking the attack since I was immune to poisons and toxins. If I could use my storm powers this would be so much easier, but the Olympians were watching I wasn't going to give those bastards to much information about my abilities. I charge up another attack called Hell's Curtain I aimed at the spot I hit early.
I through my fist back while concentrating all my flames into a single point before emitting a massive blanket flames. This attack was much more powerful than the one from before as soon as it made impact the whole right arm was incinerated. The beast welled in pain I could see the pain and rage in its eyes it reacted on instinct and breathed fire that ability was rare for Drakons. I concentrated fully on the fire before it could reach it stop.
The fire started to flow around me almost as if were dancing I manipulated it until I made flame arrow, I aimed it right at the beast mouth. The Drakon turned intime taking the damage with its back just as expected. I quickly jump on its back garbing on to the charred flesh the beast tried to shake me off, but it was pointless. I forced the rest of my mana into the Drakon the beast started to roll on the grown trying to crush me, but he underestimated my durability. Before it could try anything else I transmuted my mana into fire burring it from the inside it soo turn into golden dust marking the end the battle.
''Kiss my ass Hades'' I said proudly before passing out.
