The memories hit her like lightning.
Lara screamed, and Moonfire erupted from her body, brighter and hotter than ever.
Dragoth recoiled, roaring as the light seared his scales. Vorlag's confident smile faltered for the first time.
Lara turned to the woman, her breath ragged.
"Mother…" she said, voice trembling.
Her mother nodded, tears streaming down her face.
Lara's eyes flared blue, her voice deep and powerful, layered with something more than herself.
"Enough, Vorlag. You are a virus, refusing to die. This ends now."
Vorlag's jaw tightened, rage coiling through him.
"Kill her. Now!"
Dragoth lunged, fire roaring in his chest, hotter and stronger than before.
Lara channels the Moonfire through her staff and her body. The energy lashes out, striking Dragoth mid-lunge. The dragon screams, it's flames scattering harmlessly.
