Suddenly, a thought sparked in his mind—his unique Rinnegan technique, one that let him perceive fate-like trajectories and calculate outcomes. If she refused to leave, then he would simply trust the result and act accordingly.
A purple light flashed through Hikaru's eyes.
Black flames erupted into the form of a skeletal Demonic Flame Susanoo, wrapping around his body.
He couldn't afford to summon a full armored form—not while channeling raw natural lightning chakra. Otherwise, he'd become a giant lightning rod and die instantly. Violent lightning chakra was far more unstable than any other nature energy.
A circular formation of black and white patterns appeared in his Rinnegan's field of vision, expanding across the entire training ground. No one else could see it. All the lightning chakra in the air was being pulled into the invisible formation beneath him, spinning violently.
Every detail around him transformed into information that poured into his mind all at once. His head throbbed painfully—but within seconds, the result appeared clearly.

If Yugito insisted on staying, the conditions indicated she would not die—as long as neither of them acted recklessly.

Hikaru's hands formed a seal, index fingers and thumbs touching. The flames surrounding Susanoo shifted into a dark blood-red color.
He guided the energy exactly as the Rinnegan showed him.
Low-temperature black-crimson flames coiled around Susanoo, actively pulling the thunderclouds above into convergence. Lightning speared downward repeatedly, clashing against the blazing surface of the Demonic Flame Susanoo in explosive bursts.
Hikaru felt the power of the lightning—strong, but not enough to pierce his defense. Perfect for absorption.

The sky roared as the lightning strikes intensified. The thunderclouds gathered into a monstrous vortex.
Beside him, Yugito was forced to cloak herself in Matatabi's tailed-beast chakra, the blood-red aura wrapping around her body. Claws burst from her fingers—forty or fifty centimeters long—and glowing blue flames ignited around newly formed cat ears atop her beige hair.
"This guy is actually still pulling more lightning down?!" she hissed.
"Even the Third Raikage wasn't insane enough to do this when he trained!"
Despite her shock, Yugito's expression remained defiant, full of pride—the look of a queen unwilling to yield. She believed that while she couldn't take lightning to the face like him, she could certainly handle the shockwaves.
The tailed-beast chakra drew Hikaru's attention for a moment, and he glanced her way.
"Cat ears?" he muttered. "Kinda cute."
The thunder drowned out his voice, but Yugito could read lips. And the moment she realized what he said, her face flushed bright red like an angry kitten, claws digging deep scars into the stone floor.
"Indecent! Uchiha bastard!" (ꐦ ಠ皿ಠ)
"I'll see how long you can keep standing!"
Hikaru couldn't hear a thing. He was busy.
Lightning surged repeatedly—and then he transformed the flames around Susanoo into pure lightning-attribute chakra in a single explosive pulse.
The condensed lightning chakra became irresistible to the storm, like bait waved in front of a starving animal.
An enormous column of lightning crashed down, engulfing Susanoo completely.
The explosion shook the entire Hidden Cloud Village.
Far away inside the Raikage's office, Raikage A leaned against the window, staring at the blinding lightning pillar rising over Yunlei Gorge. His fist crushed the wooden windowsill, face twisted with frustration and anxiety.
"Hikaru… can his training really cause this level of power?!" he growled.
"It's even more terrifying than my father's thunder training. When the hell will I surpass that brat? Damn it!"
Then he froze, remembering who else was there.
"Yugito… As long as she's not in the direct center, she should be fine… right?"
Mabui, standing beside him, stared nervously out the window.
"Cats are curious," she muttered, "but Yugito isn't a child anymore. As a shinobi, she should understand the danger. I believe she'll be fine." Though her eyes betrayed doubt.
Inside the storm, Matatabi roared within Yugito's mind.
"YOU IDIOT! You're worse than a curious cat!"
"Why did you insist on staying?! He told you to move away!"
All the gentle-big-sister tone was gone. This was raw panic.
Under this overwhelming divine pressure, the only way to survive was to attempt full tailed-beast transformation—something only a perfect Jinchūriki could normally achieve.
But right now, it was their only option.
Either succeed—or die in the shockwave.
Yugito bared her teeth stubbornly, refusing to accept defeat.
"You didn't push me away earlier—how was I supposed to know this pervert would cause a thunder disaster like this?!"
She clenched her fists, lightning reflecting in her fierce golden eyes.
"Forget it. Let's try full transformation."
"This is our last chance!"
