Chapter 264 - Chapter 263: The Original Supreme God of the Mixed Universe

Chapter 263: The Original Supreme God of the Mixed Universe

Author: Great Demon Spirit

When jumping from Marvel Comics to DC Comics, Du Wa used Universe 9602 as a springboard to successfully insert the concept of the Xenomorph into the DC side, transferring his main consciousness over.

It was extremely difficult when he went, but now that he had succeeded on the DC side, returning would be far too simple.

"If I don't consider anyone else and just return by myself, I can do it in an instant. All it takes is shifting my main attention. The billions of Xenomorphs on the Marvel side are all coordinates I can activate at any time."

Du Wa watched the great battle in the Main Universe. He saw two beams of white light erupt in a fierce exchange and saw the likes of Steel Lantern facing a siege from various colored Lanterns.

Steel Lantern, however, seemed to handle it with ease. After all, he was a hybrid of Iron Man and Green Lantern. He could naturally use a Green Lantern Ring to create all sorts of complex high-tech constructs that conformed to objective laws, all with just a single thought. Countless green high-tech weapons appeared one after another, and they could even undergo rapid iterative upgrades over time.

Furthermore, Steel Lantern also had a Xenomorph component within him. All of this allowed him to completely hold his ground when facing a group of Lanterns.

"I'm taking all the Xenomorphs from Universe 9602 back with me. Although these guys are hybrids, their home is in the Marvel World." Du Wa glanced over and immediately issued the command.

"What? We're going back to Universe 9602?"

"Hmm, it's sudden, but on second thought, it's not that surprising. Du Wa has already gotten what he wanted in this world. When he arrived, he was a powerful Cosmic God, and now he's an incredibly terrifying Multiversal God. I really want to see the expressions on the faces of the multiversal gods back home."

The group of guys from Universe 9602 were startled at first, but they quickly began to prepare.

Immediately, some Xenomorphs noticed the group's unusual movements and inquired curiously—aside from a very select few, none of them knew that they came from another vast world comparable to the world within the Source Wall.

But then again, these hybrids from Universe 9602 didn't know how big the Marvel World truly was, or what kind of powerful beings presided over it. After all, Universe 9602 itself was separated from all other Marvel universes by a natural chasm that was difficult to cross, severing their connection.

But this time, everything was different.

"Looks like I have no more time to waste on you all. I have more important things to do."

Steel Lantern stood his ground, like a Scientist wearing green steel armor, surrounded by a dense array of countless translucent green high-tech equipment. On every screen, massive amounts of data flowed rapidly.

On the outer perimeter, green armors of various sizes flew through the air and burrowed into the ground, battling the group of Lanterns.

Beams of green light clashed with lights of many other colors. Green armors were continuously smashed to pieces, but Lanterns also died.

If it were just that, it would have been one thing. But this was the first time Steel Lantern had unleashed his full firepower, displaying an unbelievable talent for simultaneously creating so many green armors and controlling them perfectly.

But what truly terrified these battle-hardened Lanterns was that every green component on these temporarily created green armors was rapidly undergoing reconstruction as time passed. This made every single green armor continuously stronger, with higher output efficiency and more powerful firepower.

"Is this even logical? He's a Lantern, not a Scientist! He's using a Lantern Ring to create fake high-tech armor, and he can even iteratively enhance this fake armor?!"

"Steel Lantern... I'll remember this guy. He's fending off our siege, resisting death, and single-handedly climbing the technology tree, getting stronger as he fights... How can a guy like this exist in this world!!"

"My Lantern Ring's database has no record of a Steel Lantern. Where did this terrifying monster come from? And where did he get his Lantern Ring?"

"It must be a Green Lantern that person recruited from one of the other universes. He's not a native of the Main Universe at all. But if he's not from the Main Universe, why is he this strong? Is it really just because of the Xenomorph?"

Steel Lantern, this obscure, third-rate Lantern, had deeply shaken the Lanterns of the Main Universe with his first all-out attack.

A Lantern not from the Main Universe could be this ridiculously strong? The key point wasn't even that his strength was exceptional from the start, but that he was climbing the technology tree right here and now, under the watchful eyes of countless onlookers!

And he was doing it with that fucking Green Lantern Ring, that omnipotent weapon—thinking, researching, and creating on the spot!

But Steel Lantern no longer wanted to be entangled with these guys.

"Although there's always an instinct in my head telling me to take more risks, that this is the life I should be living—and this instinct has only grown stronger since I joined the Xenomorph society—I'll be resurrected by Du Wa if I die anyway..."

Steel Lantern created a bunch of green tech hands that operated and performed calculations on a large number of surrounding green screens. He spoke calmly, "But adventure isn't the goal. Using adventure to confirm more things is the goal. You people can no longer provide me with enough stimulation. I'm going to find more excitement. Don't hinder me any longer. Stand down."

"Hinder? You're the one hindering us! Saide, are you really going to betray us and join the Xenomorphs? How many mistakes have you made? Don't you have any thoughts of atonement?!"

"Yes, I must atone. By doing nothing right now and quietly watching your two sides fight, that is a form of atonement..." Saide was equally shocked by Steel Lantern's brilliant display.

"Fuck! In this situation, even if you do nothing, you're essentially already on the Xenomorphs' side! You've abandoned the result of a billion years of the Maltusians' struggle, and you're ignoring the sins you've committed!"

Stewart and the others were about to lose their minds.

Steel Lantern immediately unleashed a massive attack. A large number of green armors fired at full power, while he himself took the opportunity to break through the encirclement and head straight for Earth.

He didn't even spare Frank a second glance. It was as if this newly promoted, temporary White Lantern, who had piqued Steel Lantern's interest not long ago, had now completely lost all appeal.

Once again, the Lanterns realized with horror that something unknown was about to happen. Du Wa must have given Steel Lantern another command.

"Frank followed a command, got a strange ring, and became a White Lantern who could fight Kyle. What does that count for now?"

"Forget about that, we have to help Kyle deal with Lamisji!"

"How? Our attacks can barely harm him! Only a White Lantern can deal with a White Lantern. Who would have thought there'd come a day when two White Lanterns would fight each other?!"

The various colored Lanterns, their different lights clearly distinct, could only watch helplessly as the two White Lanterns fought fiercely. They felt this scene was even more absurd than two Black Lantern zombies tearing each other apart. That the White Lanterns, the white of Life, who stood on the side of life and salvation, would fight so intensely.

Where was the Entity of Existence? Why hadn't it come out to take control? Could there be anything more serious than two White Lanterns, born through abnormal means, beating each other up in the Main Universe?

The beings capable of perceiving the developments in the Main Universe soon realized that it wasn't just Steel Lantern; several other peculiar individuals were also returning to Earth from all over.

The one receiving the most attention was, of course, Thanoseid. This guy had been standing there for a while, hands behind his back, motionless, as if waiting for something.

More people gathered around. Without exception, they were all hybrids, resembling but not quite normal superheroes or villains.

"This guy... looks like he wants to leave? No, not leave in the true sense of the word. At most, he's just shifting his attention, focusing his main energy on another world!" Ghost saw what Du Wa was trying to do at a glance. He was all too familiar with these hybrids.

Fucking hell! To exist in two incredibly vast worlds simultaneously as a concept god was simply cheating!

When Ghost thought about how he and that super-powerful deity named Living Tribunal—or strictly speaking, a分身 of that deity—had joined forces to bring about the birth of the mixed Universe 9602, he became extremely wary of the world where the Living Tribunal resided.

A world that had an arbiter like the Living Tribunal, and apparently also had powerful gods like the Living Tribunal and the Lords of Order responsible for maintaining stability and order... where every one of them started at the multiversal level, with no shortage of beings at a higher standing—how terrifying must such a world be? How many secrets would it hide?

Yet Du Wa was somehow able to take the power he gained in that world, enhance himself, and bring it over to the DC side in a stronger state. The reverse was also true, and now he was about to take the enhancements he gained from DC Comics over to the Marvel side!

Ghost knew he could never learn such a maneuver. He was a derivative of The Presence, existing as an arbiter from the moment of his birth, possessing a sacred duty and mission. He was a completely different type of being from Du Wa, a free being who started as an ordinary human.

Presumably, that Living Tribunal was the same. It clearly knew of the DC Universe's existence but had no way to profit from it, instead having to find ways to conceal its existence.

Ghost really wanted to notify the Living Tribunal and tell it to stop acting like a fucking moronic antivirus program, strictly following its established logic. It should have completely erased Du Wa long ago!

Unfortunately, he couldn't do it.

Just then, Du Wa waved his hand. A powerful force shattered space-time and severed the dimension itself. He used a concept to obscure everything, blocking all possibility of investigation.

But when Ghost looked again, he found that Thanoseid and the other hybrid Xenomorphs had already disappeared.

"That guy Du Wa found a gate to both worlds in Universe 9602! Damn it, I really shouldn't have chosen Access to guard this thing!" Ghost now saw everything clearly.

This "gate" was real because the future of the mixed universe was destined to be a separation back into two universes—Marvel belonging to Marvel, and DC Comics belonging to DC Comics.

But Du Wa had obtained the hidden gate and could even bring people in and out freely. This made Ghost even more furious. He would not allow such a badass god to exist, especially one connected to another vast world!

"I have to find a way to completely destroy Du Wa's ability to travel between the two worlds and plug the vulnerability that the Living Tribunal and I left behind back then!"

But Ghost's anger couldn't affect Du Wa in the slightest.

"Finally back. The familiar rules of the universe. This place... was once my home." Thanoseid revealed a ferocious expression.

Dark Claw took a drag from his cigar, his gaze profound. "This also means that Du Wa can transport Xenomorphs between the two multiverses as he pleases. This isn't good for the stability of the two multiverses, but for our type of Xenomorph, it's fucking great. If we get killed in one world, we still have a chance to be resurrected in the other."

"But that requires one major premise: Du Wa must not have made a whole bunch of powerful enemies in both worlds at the same time." Steel Lantern was rapidly analyzing all the information, only to discover that his connection to the Emotional Spectrum had once again become minuscule. He could no longer use the power of a Green Lantern as he wished, and he immediately felt a sense of regret.

"No need for that kind of emotion. Once I've completely conquered the Emotional Spectrum, you'll be able to use your power freely here as well," Du Wa said.

"The Emotional Spectrum is the power of creation. How can you bring the power of creation from another world into this one and make it work? Won't that cause a massive conflict?"

"Yes, that's normally the case. The Emotional Spectrum would either have to adapt to this world's environment, suffering immense losses before the remnants could adapt, or it would eventually change this world. But I have a third way. I just need to place the Emotional Spectrum under the Xenomorph concept. I am the first portal facing the world directly. As long as nothing happens to me, all the powers you use are absolutely safe," Du Wa replied.

Everyone understood. They also realized that after his promotion to a Multiversal God, Du Wa, this unprecedentedly unique concept god, was finally beginning to reveal his true might, bit by bit. It was definitely not as simple as just being able to dominate multiversal gods and violently parasitize the vast number of gods from single universes who lacked multiversal protection.

He had already ascended to the level of cross-world rules.

"My Omega Effect is reacting too... I really don't know what it would be like if, one day, you incorporated all things tangible and intangible into your concept." Thanoseid felt the changes in his own power. The Omega Effect was, after all, a divine artifact from DC Comics; bringing it to the Marvel side to use would definitely cause some changes.

Even though he was originally from Universe 9602 and could barely be considered a Marvel native, his strength back then was too weak. No matter how powerful the Omega Effect he used was, its upper limit was extremely low.

But it was different now. In the DC world, Thanoseid could be called the second most powerful Darkseid, second only to the Darkseid from the Sphere of Gods, and he was very close to a multiversal standing.

Relying on Du Wa, Thanoseid could exert his power to a much greater extent, as long as the Xenomorph concept was at the forefront.

"Hmph hmph hmph, I'm looking forward to your future more and more. However, before you start to shine in this multiverse, I'll first take care of a little trouble in this world for you—the supreme god of Universe 9602, who is also the trigger for the creation of hybrids like me... The Brothers!" Thanoseid said.
