The wind suddenly turned fierce, stinging their cheeks. A squad of Silvermane Guards had mistaken Sāmu and the others for accomplices of the wanted criminal, Sampo. Sampo had mastered the art of running, leaving no trace in the snow and escaping with incredible speed. The remaining members of the Express, who still hoped to explain the situation, were surrounded by the Silvermane Guards of Belobog without a word.
Dan Heng, with his spear in hand, exuded an unstoppable aura. March 7th, with her bow and arrow, stood tactically slightly behind Dan Heng. From there, she could execute her usual feints and support. The girl's Six-Phased Ice could attach to her companions' bodies, drawing enemy fire and reducing the damage they took. "Huh?" March 7th racked her brain but couldn't figure out how they could possibly suspect that Sāmu was a child they had abducted! Even the Stellaron Hunters hadn't said anything!
But her question was apparently taken as a provocation. One of the more hot-headed Silvermane Guards charged at them without another word.
"Whoosh!" The halberd-like weapon in the Guard's hand cut through the air, slicing through snowflakes.
"Clang!" Dan Heng frowned and easily parried the blow. The clash of weapons produced a crisp, cold sound.
The Silvermane Guard had clearly not expected the young man to be so strong. He had blocked his two-handed, full-force attack with just one hand, causing him to lose his balance and stagger back.
Dan Heng pressed his advantage, using a set of Cloud Knight spear techniques ingrained in his muscle memory, "Driving Rain," to strike the Silvermane Guard's shoulder plate, breastplate, helmet, and knee guards. It wouldn't kill him, but it would injure his muscles and bones, completely disabling him.
"Ah! My leg!"
"Bastard, what did you do to my comrade!" Another Silvermane Guard with a rifle was enraged and roared.
"Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!"
"I should be asking you what you were planning to do to my companion!" March 7th stood up for them.
But the Silvermane Guard was in no mood to listen. He immediately raised his rifle and aimed at Dan Heng's vitals, his gloved finger pulling the trigger.

The handsome blond man wore a military uniform of a much higher rank than the other Silvermane Guards. The golden sash on his chest and the magnificent insignia on his shoulder all testified to the honor and pride he carried.
"I, Gepard Landau, Captain of the Silvermane Guards, order you to cease your pointless resist...!"
Before Gepard could finish his surrender demand, the girl had already charged at him with her Galactic Baseball Bat. Faced with Stelle's aggressive attack, Gepard frowned slightly, then immediately raised the uniquely shaped, cello-case-like shield, "Fortress," to block the gray-haired girl's attack.
