Chapter 80 - "A Demon's New World"

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________

As the morning bell rang, students filed into a third-floor classroom one after another.

The first class of the day was about to begin.

And the teacher standing at the podium—at least in Andrew's eyes—was marked in red.

The stench of a sinful soul clung to him.

It was science lab today, or more simply, chemistry.

"Good morning, everyone. I'll be leading this lab session. My name is Akizuki Kōyō, a graduate of Kyoto University with a PhD in science. I look forward to working with all of you!"

The young teacher had the kind of clean-cut looks and gentle smile that could easily win over students.

But… Akizuki Kōyō?

Isn't that the protagonist of Gifu?

For the uninitiated, Gifu was that notorious anime about a father who "teaches" his daughters with twisted love—until, through sheer domination, he molds them completely into his image, obedient to his every command.

Andrew narrowed his eyes at the man lecturing cheerfully at the front of the room.

A red-marked soul could never be spared. Every corrupted soul shared the same core trait—madness.

And madness meant unrestrained desire, instability, unpredictability. There was no telling what kind of depraved things this man might do.

Still, if Andrew was going to eliminate him, it had to be done in a way that brought the greatest benefit.

After all, Andrew was a demon. He had no illusions about being a "good person."

Thrown into this anime world, if the first people he'd encountered had been Akizuki and his two non-blood-related daughters—the infamous Akizuki sisters—he wouldn't have let them slip away either.

Since he had already decided to erase this so-called "Gifu," he might as well use the man's filth to create an opportunity to gain new subordinates.

And heroines like the sisters were the easiest to contract with—and the most suitable companions for a demon like him, who was only growing stronger.

As Kōyō droned on with his lecture, a sudden chill crept up the back of his neck. But he dismissed it.

Years ago, a lab accident had robbed him of his manhood.

Later, by chance, he encountered two sisters who set his heart ablaze.

Pretending to be a refined gentleman, he successfully wooed their mother, Akizuki Kayoko. And just like that, he slipped into the role of stepfather, forming a "family" with the sisters.

Only yesterday, he had persuaded his wife to move, along with her daughters Airi and Marina, into his house that very night.

The thought of those two fair-skinned, impossibly cute daughters made his smile all the brighter—he could barely restrain the urge to run home immediately.

He'd even prepared a "gift" for the troublesome one, the daughter who had always thrown wrenches in his courtship, glaring at him with disdain.

Akizuki Airi.

As Kōyō's thoughts slithered further down a dark path, Andrew's brow furrowed.

Something strange was happening.

Whenever he focused on a corrupted soul, he could hear their wicked inner voice.

Honestly, it was disgusting.

If he was going to listen to anyone's thoughts, he'd much rather it be a cute girl's—not some rotten old man's.

Still, no matter how distasteful, the ability was useful.

After all, the more tools you had, the better.

With this gift, he could always know what a red-marked soul was planning before they acted—and strike at the perfect moment.

This world only needed one thing from him: to draw close to the heroines, forge contracts, and grow stronger.

As for the "Gifu" and every other red-marked scum? They all had to die.

To Andrew's surprise, he soon uncovered Kōyō's real plan: tonight, he intended to use a drug of his own twisted invention to claim the golden twin-tailed beauty, Akizuki Airi.

Andrew hadn't meant to eavesdrop so deeply, but by watching the man closely, he'd picked up more than enough.

Plenty of valuable intel, actually.

First, Kōyō was impotent—completely unresponsive to his wife Kayoko. He had never once touched her. Their marriage was nothing more than polite distance.

Second, because of his warped soul, he had set his sights only on the two sisters. He had no interest in women his own age, only in younger girls.

Night fell.

After leaving little angel Mahiru completely worn out and fast asleep, Andrew followed the magical marker he had placed on Kōyō and arrived near the Akizuki home.

The house was lively tonight. For the first time, this blended family had fully gathered under one roof, moving into their new home.

Dinner was prepared by Akizuki Marina, the older sister—an adorable, gentle girl with long, light-brown hair.

Her younger sister, Airi, was just as striking: a delicate, heart-shaped face framed by blonde twin-tails, petite build, long legs wrapped in black over-the-knee socks, and a chest far too generous for her age. Her sheer presence radiated dangerous charm.

Watching with his demonic eye, Andrew couldn't help but label her:

Akizuki Airi—an absolute bratty little gem.

But unlike in the original storyline, this Airi was now a brand-new high school freshman, the same year as Andrew himself.

She and her second-year sister both attended Suimei Academy of the Arts High School.

Suimei—home also to Shino Asada, Nanami Aoyama, and others…

...

At the dinner table, Kayoko Akizuki gazed at her new husband with a gentle, expectant look, her heart fluttering at the thought of the night to come. But Kōyō Akizuki's twisted mind had no interest in her—a married woman—and she was destined for disappointment.

Marīna gave a soft smile, inviting everyone to start eating. Unlike her younger sister, who was clearly resistant, Marīna welcomed Kōyō's addition to their family. Innocent and naive, she had no idea of the perverted thoughts festering beneath the man's gentlemanly facade and regarded him with genuine respect.

This won't do, Andrew thought, already formulating his plan. He had to maximize his gain. And to do that… Kōyō Akizuki, you must reveal your depravity and then die.

"True feelings never last; only a good scheme wins hearts."

As a demon, Andrew wasn't bothered by this part of himself. To satisfy his desires and find pleasure, he had to steal, to snatch, to possess what he craved. The more wicked the human soul, the more demonic power he could reap from tearing it apart.

Soon, dinner was over. Airi Akizuki didn't even spare Kōyō a glance, simply saying, "I'm done," before running into her room.

Kōyō narrowed his eyes and smiled a pleasant smile, his thoughts turning sinister. Airi, tonight Daddy is going to teach you the right way to behave around me. He hadn't planned to act so quickly, but the sight of her contemptuous gaze had enraged him. He wanted to break her and make her docile.

So, tonight it was.

After her shower, Kayoko blushed as she looked at the man beside her. "Kōyō." A woman could be reserved at times, especially with a gentleman. She didn't want to appear too forward and be seen as loose, lest he dislike her.

But to her disappointment, Kōyō appeared to be fast asleep. With no other choice, Kayoko closed her eyes, trying to convince herself. "Kōyō is just tired; it's not that he isn't interested in me. I just need to be patient."

A moment later, a sweet scent reached her, and she fell into a deep sleep—or rather, a state of unconsciousness.

Kōyō smirked, shaking the spray bottle of sleeping drug in his hand before getting up and leaving the room. He walked with purpose toward Airi's bedroom.

Inside, Airi was on her bed in modest pajamas, chatting with a friend from school. The door suddenly opened, and she instinctively turned around. Her heart sank as she saw the man she despised walk in.

"You pervert! What are you doing in here?! This is Airi's room! I locked the door!"

Kōyō triumphantly threw a ring of keys onto the floor. "Airi, this is my house. As your father, I have a spare key."

"How disgusting! Breaking into your own daughter's room with a spare key! What do you want?" Airi glared at him, her eyes filled with revulsion as if looking at something filthy.

A cruel laugh escaped Kōyō. He moved swiftly, his hand rising to spray a pink mist at Airi's face.

"Ugh... what... what is this?! You trash! What did you do?!" Airi frantically waved her hands, trying to fan away the strange vapor, but her body went limp, and she sank to the floor. She felt her strength draining away, replaced by a strange sensation, and an uncontrollable blush crept up her cheeks.

"You trash, you scum, what are you going to do to Airi?" she cried, her voice filled with panic.

Kōyō grinned evilly. "I just want my Airi to be a good, obedient daughter. And now… time is short, Airi. Daddy's coming." He began to unbuckle his pants right in front of her.

Airi froze, her body trembling. "No, don't... Daddy, I'm your daughter! How can you do this? This is a crime!"

Terrified, Airi desperately tried to muster the strength to escape, but her body was completely powerless. All she could do was watch as the man smiled and reached out for her.

Just before he touched her, a voice from the doorway spoke. "Daddy… what are you doing?"

Marīna Akizuki stared in disbelief at the man in front of her, stripped to his underwear, his face a twisted, perverted mask. She couldn't believe her eyes.

"..."
