Adrian was going through a new quest while Kwanon slept peacefully on his chest.
Since he was planning on cleaning up the Hand he received a list of similar crime organisations ranging from normal crime groups to superpowered ones.
Each and every one of them had a lot of influence as they were in deep cahoots with the governments in many countries.
In the Hand's case they were directly linked to many high level politicians in Japan and it wouldn't be wrong to assume that they hold a lot of sway over the country.

Adrian's lips twitched a bit nervously as he sat beside a calm Emma who was sipping a cup of tea elegantly, like she hadn't just cancelled everything to rush over to see her brother.
Adrian felt uncomfortable since Emma was calm… a bit too calm and she was also giving him the silent treatment….

" You might be thinking why I am not screaming at you or slapping the shit out of you…" Emma gazed at Adrian calmly making the young man a bit uncomfortable.
" It's very simple actually , I can't let myself have an emotional breakdown every time my idiotic brother feels like killing himself , I wouldn't want to go crazy would I~ " Emma laughed as her face had a gentle smile , but that gentleness didn't reach her eyes making Adrian show an uncomfortable smile.
Dealing with people who don't care was always easier than with people who care…..

" I don't care…" Emma said coldly before Adrian could even say something.
" I don't care if people were dying or were in danger , people die all the time Addy, and I didn't reach where I am by being some kind of Saint. Tell me is it worth it to go around saving people at the expense of me or any of the people that care about you? " Emma gritted her teeth as she glared at Adrian as her hands trembled a bit .
He was safe now but he was so close to dying and the roller coaster of emotions she went through at that time was akin to pure torture making her have half a mind to just strangle him.
Emma felt so mad that she wanted to tie this little bastard up and whip him , maybe she was too gentle in his upbringing. She should have beaten the suicidal thoughts out of him.
" I don't know…." Adrian dragged his hands through his face as he let out a tired sigh.
Emma ran her hands through her blonde hair as she took a deep breath to calm herself down. She couldn't just blame him for having empathy…. A bit too much to her liking.
Emma reached over to pull Adrian into her embrace as she pressed his face against her warm and soft bosom while running her hands through his hair.
"You are killing me baby…" Emma said emotionally as she placed a kiss on top of his head.
" I know I have never tried to control your life…. But p-please…. please stop trying to put yourself in harm's way for someone else…. You are the only one I have…." Emma wasn't the White Queen now...she was just a distressed elder sister.
"Sis…" Adrian felt guilty as he hugged Emma tightly while vowing to get even more stronger. He didn't want to feel powerless ever , If he was strong then his life would never be in danger.
Just because nothing on Earth seemed like it couldn't harm him he wouldn't get complacent.
He also needed to build a safe haven for his future kids…..

" I guess I don't need to worry about you getting yourself killed…" Emma said in exasperation as she pinched and squished Adrian's cheeks in annoyance.
Adrian was lying on her thighs as he coaxed his sister into giving him her heavenly lap pillow.
Emma at first refused since she didn't want to coddle him because she was still mad at him , but she folded after a while since she was weak to her brother.
"Even I would find it hard to kill myself now…." Adrian thoughtfully making Emma's lips twitch in exasperation.
At the same time Emma felt glad that she wouldn't ever have to worry about his safety again because her brother somehow ended up dying and being reborn as a God…..

" W-What is it… " The woman was a bit uncomfortable by the gaze that felt a bit judgemental.
