Chapter 77 - Not what yall think

Sup ladies and gents, not a new chapter sorry since I'm just writing what I like to at the moment and while I do have a plot line for this, in fact I've written a few stuff I really wanted to for this fic, like the final fight funnily enough but not the exact next chapter.

I just really wanna start writing a Naruto or Bleach fic not exactly sure yet. But I just really want my next MC to have a Zanpakuto, I'm just not sure which of the two I wanna use. So I'm gonna give yall the ideas and the Zanpakutos if you could vote that would be greatly appreciated.

Naruto: A Shinigami

Born in Kirigakure during the Bloody Mist Era a young child, hears the voice of an unexpected someone after a Genin mission gone horribly wrong. The voice grows until he is in a separate space altogether and meets SOMEONE, when he wakes up he has a sword in his hand. This is the story of the Eighth Swordsman of the Mist.

Bleach: A Shinigami, no clue on the synopsis for this one though I do have a plot line in mind lol.

Either way here are the two Zanpakutos which could be in either fic and I'd prefer for yall to vote on.

1) Kogane Tsugi (黄金継ぎ, "Golden Joinery")

Sealed form: A plain, slightly worn katana with a hairline crack running up the blade that never grows or closes. The wielder can never sharpen or polish it.

Inner world: A quiet potter's workshop with shelves of shattered pots with imagery of the wielder's life, some of the pots are fixed. The spirit sits at a low table, patiently working gold into the cracks.

Spirit personality: An old calm, unsentimental, and a little old-fashioned woman. She doesn't comfort the wielder and she doesn't judge. She believes that something broken and mended is more honest than something untouched. She hates it when the wielder tries to hide a scar.

Shikai

Release command: "Mend. Kogane Tsugi."

Appearance: The hairline crack lights up gold and the blade stays whole, now looking like mended pottery. Thin gold seams spread across the steel, and faint threads of the same light trail from the hilt. This also allows the blade to bend slightly whichever way the MC wants like a whip.

Abilities:

Hibi (Fracture): Every cut leaves a gold hairline crack on the target's body, gear, or spiritual pressure. Cracks don't hurt on their own, but they mark weak points. The more cracks, the less force it takes to break that part.

Tsugi (Mend): He can run the gold threads along a wound, his own or an ally's, and seal it. The catch is that a mended wound leaves a permanent gold seam. That spot becomes far tougher than before, but it's also stiffer and takes a few minutes to return to normal.

Hikiyose (Draw Together): He can tighten the threads between cracks and pull the marked pieces toward each other, dragging limbs together, binding an opponent, or collapsing a jutsu inward.

Bankai

Name: Ōgon Gama (黄金窯, "Golden Kiln")

Release: "Break Ōgon Gama"

Appearance: The blade shatters into dozens of shards that hang in the air, joined by thin threads of gold spiritual pressure like a floating lattice of cracked porcelain.

Core power: Eveeyting he sees gets drawn over by golden seams, he decides what is joined to what.

Every gold seam in the area can be rerouted:

Join an enemy's arm to the ground, or their sword to their own shadow.

Join two enemies together so damage to one is shared with the other.

Join an incoming attack back to its caster, so it hits the source. Stuff like that.

When he gets proficient enough he'll also be able to mend concepts but I'm not sure on that one.

When the Bankai ends, the terrain stays scarred with gold seams, permanent evidence of the fight.

2) Yoin (余韻, "Lingering Echo")

Sealed form: A plain katana with a small bronze bell tied to the guard. The bell has no clapper and has never made a sound.

Inner world: A temple bell tower sunk in thick mist, with a huge bronze bell hanging ringing silently in the center. The spirit sits beside it and listens to the ringing which is actually just the thoughts amd sounds in the real world, it can tell when the wielder is lying to himself.

Spirit personality: An irritable young boy, sickly and think gets mad whenever the wilder doesn't want to hear him or others, especially if it is about something important.

Shikai

Release command: "Echo. Yoin."

Appearance: The bell on the hilt sounds one low, clear note. A faint ripple of sound shivers along the edge.

Abilities:

Kodama (Echo): Every cut he lands repeats a beat later along the same line, at a lower force. He can repeat the echos in quick succession but each echo gets weaker.

Kikimimi (Listening Ear): He reads the battlefield through sound, so he can locate enemies through mist, walls, and genjutsu that only distorts sight.

Kaeshi (Return): After an enemy's attack lands or is blocked, he can replay it back at them a beat later, at reduced strength.

Bankai

Name: Daibonshō (大梵鐘, "Great Temple Bell")

Release: "Ring out. Daibonshō."

Appearance: The bell on the hilt swells into a colossal bronze temple bell hanging in the sky above the battlefield. It tolls once, and the whole area holds its breath. The sealed blade is gone from his hand, and in its place is the bell's rope.

Core power: The bell tolls at regular intervals, and each toll replays everything that happened since the last one. He chooses who the replay lands on:

Enemy attacks and jutsu echo back onto the enemy.

He can silence something so it never echoes or happens in the first place as long as it's in his range.

A single moment can be replayed for someone he wants to keep hearing what they've done.

In time when he gets proficient enough he can also, make it so he can echo thoughts or micro movements and amplify those echos.
