Located in the south of East Balam, was a town by the shore.
Napot town.
It's architecture was inspired by the Loen Kingdom, Dark and gothic buildings, some 4 stories high.
East Balam was a colony of the Loen kingdom, it had been one for many years now.
Morris stepped out of the bath, steam curling around him while he dried his hair and body. Staring back at him from the mirror was a scared face, bags under his eyes, stitches across his face.
By now, memories of "that" place were all gone. The only thing Morris can only recall is the thirst for revenge, and a location.
South from here.
Something was south from here, that same something made him angry and scared at the same time.
After the shower Morris headed to a guest room he was urged to stay in from that older lady going by the name of Ruth. She wasn't alone though, there were two other maids that performed each and every household duty with utmost care.
Mabel and Edna.
Morris sat on his bed and carefully begsn applying new bandages on his body. He was scarred from head to toe by creatures he couldn't even remember.
His shotgun had been confiscated by the local authorities after he was found on that small boat. The people that had spotted him were Ruth and a couple of fishermen that were out that day.
Once all the bandages were applied Morris put on some light clothes and left his room to search for the old lady that was taking care of him.
When Morris reached the first floor his eyes glazed over.
He remembered the Primordial Light, the potion he drank and the powers he gained... the conversation with Mrs. Aries.
Ruth was looking out the window whilst drinking tea slowly. Mabel had long dark brown hair with beautiful green eyes. The freckles on her face made Morris reach to touch the stiches on his own.
The other maid, Edna was much older, around her mid 30's. She had shoulder length blonde hair and dark eyes. She was quiet agile when moving from the living room to the bathroom.
"Excuse but, you never really explained everything that happened when I washed up on that shore."
The thought of forgetting even more absolutely terrified him.
"As I've said before, you washed up on that shore unconscious and trembling like a small kitten. I was simply going to the bakery to buy some bread when you appeared in my view. The others quickly rushed in and pulled you out. The newspaper boy quickly ran to the police, but we had already gotten you out of there."
Coincidentally, a criminal was caught that same day, making the officers believe the weapon was his.
"We didn't know what to do with that shotgun you were carrying, so one of the fishermen decided to take it back home... and it later ended up in the police station. They don't know you are here, and for now it's better that way. If they learned of your existence, we would both get in trouble."
...
The skies began to darken, and rainfall followed soon after.
Leon was looking outside the living room window, watching every corner and shadow. There was something watching him, it was a feeling he couldn't shake off. But his eyes didn't notice anything, there were a few crows sitting atop a street lamp on the other side of the street, but other than that it was mostly quiet.
I was expecting to atleast hear gunshots but...
He pulled out a pocket watch to look at the time, waiting for Jurgen Cooper to come back.
The crow locked eyes with him, a shudder running through his body.
After a little more waiting, Jurgen Cooper had finally come back. He was a man in his twenties with blue eyes like his grandmother's. His brown hair was combed back neatly, and overall his looked very sophisticated.
Jurgen stood there eyeing the mysterious stranger who was in the living room are.
What a solemn demeanor...
Leon relaxed, letting out a soft sigh. He wanted to look calm, approachable and most importantly not a weirdo.
As far as madam Doris knew, Leon going by the name Edward Morgan was a simple business owner.
I still don't have any legal property deeds or even licences from the Loen Police Force. I need to find that money to buy the bakery.
Edward Morgan, born August 10 1329, in the Capital of Lenburg, Azshara. He was a simple businessman searching for new business ventures across various fields. A beliver of the God of Knowledge and Wisdom.
In reality he didn't have more than 100 pounds to his name.
Jurgen was quiety wary of the stranger.
"Ah, good evening. The name is Edward Morgan. Please, do not be alarmed, I don't plan on staying here longer than necessary."
Leon Wright and Edward Morgan were two opposites.
"I'm currently living in East Borough, but I'll be moving here soon. I'm a business man from Lenburg, caught wind of a few people talking about you."
Leon needed a experienced legal professional, so someone like Jurgen fit his bill perfectly.
Jurgen, still wary, extended his hand out. After a firm handshake, he introduced himself.
"Jurgen Cooper, pleased to meet you."
Leon's eyes wandered to the kitchen, where Doris was preparing a bean turnip soup.
"Oh, please stay Mr. Edward, this right here is the best bean turnip soup you will have."
She laughed while cooking this... bean turnip soup.
Sounds like something I would mash together.
"If your are looking for someone to handle your legal affairs, then I assure you I'm the one for the job."
This dude doesn't smile...
Leon offered a awkward smile, this person didn't even bother with small talk.
"I'm looking to purchase a 2000 pound bakery here in Cherwood Borough, for that I need someone like you to go through all the legal documents"
Jurgen raised his hand, explaining to Edward.
"If you are buying the business and the building itself, you will need more than just me. I can recommend a surveyor to take look. what exactly you are buying? I'll need to look into the business, check for any debts."
Jurgen took off his coat and ushered Leon towards the dining room.
No...
Leon watched as Doris scooped some of the yellow green liquid onto a plate. Jurgen looked even more serious now which made Leon's heart stop beating.
