With the others keeping the Reapers at bay Leon rushed in once more, Linda swung but he quickly ducked and stabbed her right on the side.
Linda grabbed his hand, holding the blade in place along with him.
"Caught you, little rat!"
She gave him a good front kick that landed right against his ribcage, then an almost wild haymaker that missed.
She's so much bigger and stronger! My body is still not in peak condition either after everything.
"I won't lose again, not ever!"
She shouted and tried to knee Leon in the stomach.
"Well, neither am I!"
The two shared the same mentality, but their individual physicality was completely different.
Leon twisted the knife inside her with all the strength he could muster, the overwhelming pain gave her no choice but to let go and step back, allowing Leon to pull the knife out and take a short breather.
His revolver was lying in the right corner, it's presence calling out to him. Leon thrust the knife forwards, but the knife never reached.
Tunnel vision.
Crack!
Leon heard the sound of a crack, he didn't realize he was picked up and slammed onto the ground. His grip was slightly loose but he had enough strength to stab Linda in the inner thigh.
Let the other's be done already!
Through out the entire building there was fighting. Most of the street girls had ran away for their safety, but some were too scared to leave.
Leon jumped up and grabbed onto the chandelier above, it barely held his weight before being ripped off the ceiling.
He landed onto Linda's shoulders and smashed her face in with the chandelier while she tried to get him off of her.
Leon was like a leech clinging to Linda.
Linda's ears were ringing and she was feeling light headed, the pain only become more prominent with each strike. An downward elbow strike so strong it almost split her skull.
He repositioned himself quickly to her back and sliced her traps. Leon's legs were wrapped around her waist, with a knife in hand he slashed the back of her knees until Linda fell to the ground face first, unable to get up.
"D-don't you dare hurt my sister!" Linda's anger could be felt, it seeped into Leon's hurt body.
"No worries, she will be safe. I'll make sure of it."
He grabbed his revolver and left Linda lying on the floor bleeding but not dead.
Inside her head, Linda was praying for her sister's safety more than ever before. When the Reapers came here, she couldn't defeat all of them, and now the situation had repeated itself.
This time I only lost to one person, why am I so weak?! I promised...
She was angry with herself. All the guilt and anger pushed her to unstoppable tears.
Bang!
A Reaper member slumped over the railing and fell to the ground on the first floor. Bleeding from her shoulder.
Someone came from the corner holding a kitchen knife aimed right at Leon's face. Leon grabbed a painting from the wall and blocked the knife. He let go of the painting and shot the man in the stomach twice.
Please let this end quickly, I'm only getting weaker!

A small boat sailed through the foggy ocean with no shore in sight. On it was a young man, scarred and hurt. An shotgun lying by his feet and a hand axe by his stomach.
Witnessing his own mother die had scarred him for life. His entire face was wrapped in dirty stained cloth, the sleeves of his jacket torn away to be used for makeshift bandages.
Morris felt movement inside the bag supporting his head, it was the strange mystical object he found. While Morris was observing the calm water he caught sight of the water turning a light color.
There was a light house, on a small island, and not that far away Morris could see the shore of and port of a small town.
...
When Morris woke up he was inside of a small room. To his right was a table with a window infront of it. Then a shelf to the right filled to the brim with books all in dutanese and some other strange language.
The door opened letting a woman walk inside. She was clearly in her 60's from her facial features alone.
"Oh, awake now are we? I thought you'd sleep for longer. I found you lying in that boat all hurt and bloodied and somehow peacefully sleeping. My name is Ruth."
Ruth had soft facial features, white hair and light blue eyes. When Morris got up he basically towered over her in heigh since she was 165 centimeters tall and he was 186.
All the cuts had been stitched up and he was only wearing his underwear. Morris softly ran his fingers across the stitches to feel them across his skin.
"Mrs. Ruth, where are we?"
Ruth couldn't take her eyes away from Morris's scarred body.
"My, what could have happened to you... this is my home. We are in Napot Town, East Balam. I watched you wash up on that little boat of yours from south. Tell me, where you from?"
Morris's stared at himself in the mirror, unable to answer her for a little while.
"For some strange reason i can't remember, my memories are messy. Brook village, yes that was the name. I can only remember my mother and a few other details, but everything else is starting to kind of dissapear. I come from a small island in the south."
Ruth had a pretty confused look on her face when she heard Morris mention a village on an island in the south.
"A island with a village south of Napot Town? Kid, what are you talking about? There's no such thing."
Old lady Ruth crossed her arms and shook her head in disapproval . "Maybe those curses inside of you messed with your memories, not maybe but definitely"
