Hermione's soft lap—for a certain large feline—was undoubtedly a novel and comfortable experience. The sweet, slightly bitter scent of acorns seemed to linger at his nose.

Faint.

Yet exceptionally captivating.

Under the gentle soothing at his brow, Tiger completely immersed himself in this rare comfort and tranquility.

Slightly warm skin.

Became his entire world at this moment.

Just like that—

He slept until dusk for the first time ever.

Until sunset's afterglow quietly climbed onto his cheeks. Spilled across Hermione's brow. Only then did those fierce, satisfied amber eyes slowly open...

However—

What met his gaze—

Wasn't some tender, sweet scene. But the girl's slightly grotesque double chin.

The numb, stinging sensation of poor blood circulation—like millions of fine needles wandering wantonly through her legs. Hurt until the girl's face turned pale.

Unfortunately, Miss Chipmunk had long since noticed Tiger's exhaustion and drowsiness. She couldn't bear to break this peace and serenity. Even less willing to disturb this rare deep sleep.

So she could only endure the stinging in her legs. Continue maintaining this somewhat awkward yet loving posture. Let time quietly pass in silence...

"Hermione, have you gained weight lately?"

When she heard Tiger ask this question in an unquestionable tone—Miss Chipmunk's smile instantly froze.

With an almost polite yet distant motion, she slowly shifted Tiger's head off her thigh. Then unhesitatingly let go...

"THUD..."

The sound alone told how solid the fall was.

Tiger's eyes instantly regained clarity.

Fortunately, this considerably long wait wasn't entirely unrewarded for Miss Chipmunk.

Seeing Hermione couldn't even stand, Tiger casually brushed grass bits from the back of his head. Then stepped forward. Directly hoisted her onto his shoulder. Thoughtfully held down her skirt hem.

Though he didn't understand why the little person on his shoulder was harder to hold down than a wild boar—this small amount of strength meant nothing to Tiger.

Just like that—

In front of all the Hogwarts students—

Life-drained Hermione was directly carried back to Gryffindor common room by Tiger. When she noticed the sympathetic looks from Lavender and other roommates, Hermione silently covered her flushed cheeks.

Not the flush of shyness.

But the flush of anger.

This beast who currently only understood hunting—how could he read the clouds on a girl's face? After casually rubbing Miss Chipmunk's head, Tiger quickly returned to Slytherin.

He had more important matters...

Inside the prefect's dormitory—

Soft candlelight gently flickered. Draped the entire room in a mysterious yet warm veil.

Tiger lazily reclined on the sofa. Carefully examined the Philosopher's Stone in his hand. Fierce eyes deep and focused...

Due to the afternoon's high-quality sleep—

Even though it was now midnight, Tiger had no drowsy thoughts whatsoever.

And most importantly—

Gunpowder and Big Kitty both weren't here...

Under different light refractions, the dark red Philosopher's Stone bloomed with mysterious, dazzling colors.

Each subtle flicker—like gentle calls. Radiated irresistible magical fluctuations.

Sensing the increasingly obvious temptation, Tiger's eyes darkened. But his lips maintained a faint smile.

He seemed to hear whispers from inside the Philosopher's Stone. Those ancient, mysterious powers resonating with him.

In this quiet, magic-filled moment, the entire world seemed to freeze. Leaving only Tiger and this Philosopher's Stone in silent yet intense communication and sensing.

Just then—

A knock sounded. Broke the silent atmosphere. Tiger looked up. The door opened.

Riley Shafiq stepped inside.

The short-haired girl didn't look at Tiger.

Instead, she first gently placed the potion bottle in her hand on the table. Her upright, elegant posture slightly stiff.

The instant glass bottle contacted the table—a subtle yet exceptionally clear "click" sounded.

"Shelby..."

"This is the Magic Suppression Potion you wanted."

"If there's nothing else, I'm leaving."

Riley Shafiq crossed her arms, looking at Tiger. Her slightly drawn-out voice carried barely perceptible guilt and dismissiveness. Completely unwilling attitude.

As if someone had forced her to come.

"Where's that bastard woman?"

Tiger frowned slightly. Asked.

Having learned from previous lessons and experience, he hadn't rashly absorbed the Philosopher's Stone's power.

Unfortunately—rare medicinal materials being carelessly squandered by ignorant people was what Potions Masters found most intolerable.

Professor Snape—because of the completely consumed Basilisk—had long since blacklisted Tiger.

And in all of Slytherin, only that bastard woman Gemma Farley could brew Magic Suppression Potion.

Facing Tiger's somewhat stiff expression—

The prefect smiled quite cunningly. Like a fox that just stole something delicious. Full of smugness and mockery.

Shelby's dictionary never included the word "compromise."

So she hadn't used the leverage in her hand to make any demands of this nearly-exploding big tiger.

For this unruly fellow—any form of restraint was humiliation.

The noble girl understood this very well.

And owing her a favor was undoubtedly the most uncomfortable shackle for this big tiger.

The prefect agreed without hesitation.

What she wanted wasn't humiliation. But desecration.

Tiger's expression grew even uglier...

"Shelby!"

"Even if you hold prejudice against Pureblood nobles, please show the grace a man should have." Riley Shafiq glared at Tiger with displeasure.

"Farley isn't your slave!"

"For your beast potion..."

"She hasn't rested for six hours. Do you want her to sleep with you too?"

Not entirely opposed...

The big cat sitting beside Riley Shafiq swished her fluffy tail. Lightly patted her friend's calf. Emerald beast eyes faintly tinged with pink mist.

Subtle yet clear teeth-grinding sounds arose.

Riley Shafiq glanced at the big cat beside her with exasperation. Then glared viciously at Tiger again. The hostility and dissatisfaction in her eyes growing stronger.

Tiger fell silent for a moment. Ultimately said nothing more. Just impatiently waved his hand.

"Fine. You can go."

Regarding matters between himself and that dead woman—he didn't want anyone to know. No need to explain either.

Wanting to see Gemma Farley—

Just wanted to hear what demands she had. He didn't want to owe that woman a favor...

"Wait."

Just as Riley Shafiq huffily walked toward the door—a low, oppressive voice suddenly sounded.

Like a beast's growl from beside her ear.

The short-haired girl's face paled.

"Leave Muse behind..."

Seeing Tiger stare straight at the big cat. His tone full of irrefutable meaning.

Riley Shafiq nearly laughed in anger.

Damn bastard!

You really do want to keep her for sleeping!

However, before she could refuse—the big cat had already walked toward Tiger with elegant steps...

The door slammed shut heavily.

The short-haired girl cursed as she left the boys' dormitory.
