The Demon Realm.
A man standing before the window, his back cloaked in darkness, his long black hair falling down his back.
His red eyes, like blood, stare out with a serenity that seems to unnerve no one.
He was waiting for someone.
A man knocked on the door, and his voice echoed in the room, respectful and fearful.
"My king, there's a man outside claiming to have a meeting with you."
The man known as the demon king smiled with delight, and he said in return. "Let him in."
"Yes, my king."
The man delights in how everyone feared him and obeyed him because they all knew defying him meant death.
The door was open, and he turned around to see an old man with a white cloth over his eyes.
He walked firmly and calmly, like he wasn't afraid of dealing with the demon king.
The demon king smiled. "Hello, old friend."
The old man clenched the cane he brought with him. "Why do you call me here?"
The demon grinned and walked to his throne chair, his steps powerful.
