We stared at each other; the silence was longer than I expected. There was an urgency in his gaze.
Whatever he was hiding, I can tell he was truly afraid to tell me.

Then someone entered my yard, looking all panicked. The man, panting, bowed his head. "Disciple Chief, the elders have called for you!"
I was confused and thus asked, "Why have they called for me?"
The young man said while sweat fell down his face, "Forgive me, it's not up to me to say. Please follow me."
I nodded, "Alright."
I turned to Sonny. "Stay here and keep practicing."
My eyes turned fierce. "Don't let me find you slacking off."
He stared at me, and then, on hearing my words, his eyes twitched, and he nodded like an obedient student, "Yes!"
