After putting on the clothes Rowen had thrown toward her, Shade began checking her appearance. She was relieved to see that she had returned to her original form. However, that relief faded slightly when she realized she looked much younger than expected.
She looked more like a child than an adult, which left her slightly disappointed.
Noticing her expression, Rowen asked, "How are you feeling?"
Shade hesitated, then replied, "A little disappointed."
Rowen tilted his head. "Why? The clothes aren't to your liking?"
She shook her head. "It's not the clothes. I look like I'm fourteen."
Rowen paused, then let out a short laugh. "Well… you look fine like this too."
Shade glanced away. "It won't matter once I fully recover."
Seeing the exchange, Fern interrupted. "There are already new changes in place," he said.
Rowen looked at him. "Changes?"
"Yes," Fern replied. "You should check the system panel."
