It wasn't until Da Yi and Da Er took down the electric batons from their waists and knocked over a few young beggars who were leading the charge, that the situation was brought under control.
The beggars watched the young men suddenly fall to the ground and the black batons in Da Yi and Da Er's hands that could knock someone down with a single strike, fearfully retreating, no longer daring to step forward.
"Anyone who dares to push forward again, this will be your fate!" Da Yi shouted sternly.
The beggars retreated like a frightened flock of sheep, fearfully watching the few people convulsing on the ground.
Han Lei took the opportunity to raise the loudspeaker: "Listen up! From today until Canzhou, I will distribute food to everyone every day. But you must queue up to receive it, and anyone who dares to snatch..." She pointed to the people on the ground, "won't ever have another bite to eat!"
"Really, there's food every day?" a skeletal elderly man asked in a trembling voice.
