Claire Sullivan didn't sit down; she walked toward Serena Sullivan and slowly knelt on the ground.
Serena looked down at Claire's hands carefully placed on her legs, and her wheelchair retreated. "Let's have breakfast first."
Claire's hands touched Serena's legs, and as she listened to Serena's indifferent voice, she felt extremely upset and regretful inside.
"I'm sorry!"
She lowered her voice, not in the mood to eat breakfast.
"Let's wait for a moment before leaving." Serena stopped Claire, "Let's talk while we eat."
There were things she needed to ask Claire.
Since Serena said so, Claire stayed for breakfast.
She wanted to spend more time with Serena but was afraid that she wouldn't be able to answer the questions Serena would ask.
The more you fear something, the more it comes!
"Do you know Mr. Sterling?"
