"Is that a briefcase?" Monoma asked. "What's so special about a briefcase?"
"I don't know, maybe there is a weapon in there that can defeat Vanko?" Kendo answered. "Also you finally talk huh?"
Monoma scoffed, "I've only been observing at our rivals' pathetic rea-!"
Kendo immediately karate chopped Monoma's neck. Meanwhile, the three inventors – Melissa, Hatsume, and Power Loader – noticed an odd design of the briefcase. It has a similar color palette as the Iron Man suit. They wondered if the suit was inside the suit.
00:32:05 - 00:32:12
"It looks like they're going to save Stark." Midoriya said.
"They should leave the situation to the police. It's too dangerous for them to be on the racetrack." Naomasa said.
"The police aren't aware that Vanko's primary target is Stark, except for Happy and Pepper." Makoto said.
00:32:12 - 00:32:21
"Are… are they allowed to drive through the racetrack… legally?" Tokage asked.
"No, they are technically entering it illegally," Naomasa said. "But since Happy is a bodyguard whose job is to protect his employer then I'll let it slide for now.
00:32:21 - 00:32:25
"Good. They should evacuate the people so they wouldn't be caught on the crossfire." Aizawa said.
"They should've done that once Vanko sliced the race cars." Midnight said.
00:32:25 - 00:32:30
"Stark needs to slow down!" Uraraka worriedly said.
"He can't due to the velocity he's currently running in," Melissa said. "If Stark suddenly step on the breaks without slowing down first then he'll be flung across the racetrack."
"Plus, he currently has bad vision due to the palladium poisoning so he can't see that Vanko is literally in front of him," Recovery Girl said. "He shouldn't have joined racing! He's such a fool."
"No… Mr. Stark is going to be attack my a bad man." Eri said.
"Do not worry, Eri. He isn't going to be defeated easily," Mirio reassured. "Why? Because he's Iron Man."
Eri smiled, "You're right. He won't die now!"
00:32:30 - 00:32:46
"NO!" The students yelled when Stark had a car crash after Vanko sliced his vehicle.
"That was a devastating attack." Kirishima said.
"You think!?" Rin questioned.
00:32:46 - 00:32:56
"The oil is leaking! A single spark then Stark goes kaboom!" Melissa worriedly said. "You have to get out immediately of the car, Stark!"
"This reminded me of the helicopter situation in The Incredible Hulk." Ojiro said.
"Relax, everyone. He'll be fine… I hope…" Hatsume reassured which made everyone doubted her instead.
00:32:56 - 00:33:17
"Those poor drivers." Shiozaki pitied when the race cars exploded behind Vanko.
"Yeah, but it's kinda badass." Kirishima said.
00:33:17 - 00:33:30
"Happy needs to focus on where he's going, otherwise, he would be either obliterated by the speeding race cars or getting sliced by Vanko." Midnight said.
"They should stop before they'll get themselves killed." Aizawa said.
"Yeah, what are they going to do with the situation?" Vlad asked. "They aren't carrying Stark's armored suit but a useless briefcase."
"I think that 'useless' briefcase is useful than you think, Vlad." Power Loader said.
00:33:30 - 00:33:44
"Huh? Where did Stark go? Uraraka asked.
"And how did he managed to escape the car so fast?" Ojiro wondered.
00:33:44 - 00:33:46
"There he is." Nejire said when Stark hit Vanko with a piece of metal which caused some to chuckle.
"That was unwise of him," Aizawa criticized. "Why didn't he run away? He's clearly disadvantage without the suit."
"Because an arrogant, idiotic masochist. That's why!" Shigaraki answered.
Bakugo scoffed, "Like you?"
"Shut up or I'll kill you." Shigaraki said as Bakugo delivered a middle finger on him which caused Kurogiri to restrain his leader.
00:33:46 - 00:33:53
The men in the audience subconsciously covered their crotch upon seeing the whips almost slicing Stark's ding dong. The women were holding their laughter after seeing the men covering their crotch.
"That was WAY too close!" Mineta yelled.
"Damn. I don't think I can ever be a man without my dong." Kirishima said while covering his crotch with his legs.
"Man, Stark wouldn't have any offspring when the weeny is gone." Tetsutetsu said which caused some women to blushed while holding their laughter.
00:33:53 - 00:34:02
"TONY!" The audience subconsciously said Stark's first name when he was hit by the whip.
"That must've hurt a lot." Kaminari said.
00:34:02 - 00:34:09
The audience were worried when the downed Stark was in front of a leaking oil from a destroyed race car.
"Get out of there, Stark!" Hatsume worriedly yelled.
"Stark has a plan," Power Loader reassured. "A very, very dangerous plan."
"What is he going to do?" Melissa asked.
"You'll see." Power Loader answered.
00:34:09 - 00:34:17
The screen froze when Vanko is increasing the power of the whips by repeatedly swinging them around.
"Ivan Vanko, also known as Whiplash!" Present Mic announced.
"I like it. The codename makes sense because 'whiplash' is commonly caused by rear-end car accidents, which Vanko demonstrated earlier to the race cars... using his whips, so the codename is acceptable." Midnight approved with the codename.
"You'll accept such boring name!?" Bakugo angrily questioned.
Present Mic continued, "Quirk: Quirkless. Although he's Quirkless, he can use whips that are imbued with the energy from the replicated arc reactor that he created. These deadly whips can slice anything as if they were paper! What a whipping villain am I right?"
"That… was a good pun." Midnight said before smirking.
"I still think he should've used better weapons than some whips." Melissa mumbled.
00:34:17 - 00:34:22
"So that was his plan," Midoriya said when the car exploded upon contact with the whips. "Stark was laying still to lure Vanko closer so that he'll hit the leaking oil. And once Vanko finished charging up his weapon, Stark immediately dived away so that he won't be caught by the explosion."
"That was smart of him," Aizawa complimented. "He used his surroundings as an advantage. Remember class, always be observant around your surroundings since it'll sometimes help you in a difficult situation."
"Yes, sir!" The students answered.
00:34:22 - 00:34:29
"Jeez, he didn't even flinched from the explosion." Kaminari said.
"He's Russian, maybe that's why?" Melissa answered.
00:34:29 - 00:34:38
The audience were surprised when the car collided with Vanko which managed to stopped him. The heroes and students were relieved that it was over while the villains were disappointed of Vanko.
"Tsk. That was a disappointment." Shigaraki said. "Why did I expect a D-Rank Villain to defeat that damn Stark!?"
00:34:38 - 00:34:46
"How is crashing the car into someone scaring them?" Kodai asked.
"He probably thought that Vanko would immediately run away upon seeing the car." Tokage answered.
00:34:46 - 00:34:49
"Oh boy, she's really upset." Nejire said when Pepper was angry with Stark.
"Can you blame her? Stark essentially acted reckless without her knowledge." Yaoyorozu said.
00:34:49 - 00:34:51
Kurogiri noticed Vanko's armor was moving, "It looks like the battle isn't over yet."
"Remember, class. Always make sure your opponents are successfully downed before celebrating." Aizawa said as the students nodded.
Shigaraki chuckled, "I thought it was over. There's still a chance for him to kill Stark in front of the people."
00:34:51 - 00:34:53
"Will you both stop arguing!? It's f*cking annoying!" Bakugo yelled.
"Yeah, I have sensitive earlobes so it's painful to hear loud noises," Jiro agreed. "I'm already enduring the pain whenever Bakugo screams."
"What the f*ck did you say, Earphones!?" Bakugo asked but Jiro simply ignored him.
00:34:53 - 00:35:13
The audience were laughing when Happy kept hitting the conscious Vanko with the car four or five times while the heroes were sighing from the ridiculous scene they are witnessing.
"Jeez, he's tougher and durable than I thought," Kirishima said. "He might even survive our Quirks, Tetsutetsu."
"Yeah, I didn't know Russians are that tough." Tetsutetsu agreed.
00:35:13 - 00:35:19
"Vanko isn't playing around now ribbit." Asui said when Vanko sliced the car in half.
Shigaraki grinned, "They're in trouble now."
00:35:19 - 00:35:26
The audience continued to chuckle when Pepper kept screaming while the teachers simply facepalmed.
"Pepper is an ordinary citizen in this situation so it would make sense she would freaked out." Midnight pitied.
"Why did she volunteer to come anyway?" Vlad asked. "It would have been fine if it was Happy picking him up."
00:35:26 - 00:35:33
The audience were curious about the briefcase that Pepper threw to Stark while the geniuses already knew what it was.
00:35:33 - 00:35:53
The entire audience were baffled after seeing the suit transformation. They thought it was a fancy briefcase with the color palette of Iron Man but they didn't expect it was an actual Iron Man suit.
"That was certainly… unexpected to say the least." All Might said.
"Amazing! A portable suit that Stark can bring anywhere he goes!" Hatsume yelled. "I have so many ideas like how does the briefcase function!? We didn't even discovered nanotechnology yet!"
The audience were wondering how such machinery is possible in that universe when they couldn't achieve it on their world. It was embarrassing since Stark figured the mechanics of the portable briefcase in the 21st Century while in their current century, they didn't discover it… yet.
"I'm guessing that's the Mark V since the Mark IV is currently on display," Melissa said. "The silver and red design… oddly works well with the suit."
"Yeah, it's like a mixture of Mark II and Mark III." Midoriya said.
"Tsk. This bastard thinks he can win just because he has a fancy suit huh?" Shigaraki questioned. "You're nothing without the suit, Stark! You're just a pathetic, arrogant, idiotic man with no Quirk."
"You really hate Stark that much huh." Dabi mumbled.
00:35:53 - 00:36:00
"You're going down, Whiplash!" Hagakure said.
"The fight is now fair and square." Kirishima said.
00:36:00 - 00:36:08
"No way! The whips can damage the suit?" Tsuburaba questioned.
"Why are you surprised?" Tsunotori asked. "If bullets can damage it then why can't the arc reactor whips damage it as well?"
"Y-Yeah… that's a good point." Tsuburaba said as he was surprised by Pony's answer.
"At least the whips doesn't completely damage the suit to the extent," Melissa reassured. "It's probably because of the gold-titanium alloy. Although, it isn't vulnerable against the attacks so Stark has to end the fight quickly before his suit is completely destroyed."
00:36:08 - 00:36:12
"Those whips can deflect the laser thingies as well!?" Kaminari questioned.
"It's called a 'repulsor blast'," Midoriya corrected. "Aside from that, Vanko has an insane reaction time for him to deflect those blasts."
"The energy of those whips is insanely unreal." Power Loader complimented.
00:36:12 - 00:36:28
The audience winced when Stark was being tossed around like a ragdoll while Shigaraki was enjoying the spectacle.
"Even with the suit, he's losing," Uraraka said. "This isn't going to be the Iron Man vs. Iron Monger situation, right?"
"Do not lose faith, young Uraraka," All Might reassured. "Why? It's because a hero will always break out of a tough spot. Iron Man will push back and defeat Whiplash."
"Bullsh*t," Shigaraki insulted. "A hero always break out of a tough spot? That's some loaded bullsh*t from a hypocrite. Stark is going to die whether you like it or not!"
"You're in denial, Shigaraki. You must calm down." Kurogiri said.
"Don't tell me what to do, Kurogiri!" Shigaraki angrily ordered until All For One managed to calm his protegé down.
00:36:28 - 00:36:38
"What… is he doing?" Komori asked when Iron Man was wrapping himself with the whips while moving towards Whiplash.
"That's a brilliant idea," Midoriya complimented. "He's advancing towards Vanko by completely wrapping himself around the whips to prevent Whiplash from using his weapons."
"But… wouldn't that be painful?" Fuyumi worriedly asked.
"It may be painful for him, but if he's going to defeat Whiplash then he has to feel the pain," Aizawa answered. "Those whips are only effective on mid or long range. The whips will be rendered useless once Iron Man is close to him."
"So Iron Man can defeat Whiplash! He wouldn't be killed today!" Hagakure cheered.
All Might smiled, "I told you that heroes will always find a way to break out of tough situations"
Shigaraki groaned, "Bullsh*t! Absolutely bullsh*t! Stark is cheating! He should've died right there!"
"He is the 'Invincible' Iron Man so what are you going to do about it?" Dabi reminded.
"Invincible? More like an eyesore!" Shigaraki yelled.
00:36:38 - 00:36:55
The audience cheered when Iron Man defeated Whiplash while the decaying villain scratches his neck aggressively.
"Good job, Stark!" Hatsume cheered. "I knew he was going to win!"
"I never doubted him for a second," All Might said. "It was obvious he was going to win."
"Yeah, there was no way a hero will lose to damn villain!" Bakugo agreed.
"Tsk. Stark wouldn't last long in that world anyway." Shigaraki said.
00:36:55 - 00:37:16
The audience, especially Shigaraki, were genuinely confused when Vanko said that Stark lost.
"What do you mean he LOST!? Is your brain f*cked up or something!?" Bakugo asked.
"I don't think he meant the battle," Aizawa said. "He probably planned something, otherwise, he wouldn't have gloated."
"Tsk. Iron Man kicked the villain's ass!" Bakugo said in denial. "He's the winner and the villain's the loser! They will always be losers."
"Then you're too blind to see it, child." All For One said.
"Whatever, Darth Vader." Bakugo replied.
00:37:16 - 00:37:23
After Iron Man destroyed the replicated arc reactor, few of the audiences realized what Whiplash meant though they weren't sure. They hoped they were wrong about their guess, but if not, then it's inevitable.
00:37:23 - 00:37:32
The audience had suspicions when Hammer was smiling at the disastrous event.
"I have a bad feeling about that smile." Power Loader said.
"You're not the only one, sir," Melissa agreed. "I feel like he has a sinister plan."
"Pfft. He's a disgraced engineer. Why would he have a sinister plan? He was just satisfied that Stark got his ass handled earlier," Hatsume reminded. "He's nothing more than a child."
"Says the one who has an energy of one." Power Loader said.
00:37:32 - 00:37:38
"He can speak French? C'est incroyable." Aoyama complimented.
"That's honestly a bit surprising," Midoriya said. "I didn't expect him to learn other languages. How many languages can Stark speak?"
"He can speak five other languages – French, Spanish, Italian, Latin, and Dari." Ragdoll answered as her teammates were quite surprised that she answered.
"Seriously!? He's a genius, playboy, philanthropist, a Pro Hero, and now a multilingual!? How is that possible!?" Mineta asked.
"Dedication, patience, and determination." Todoroki answered which caused Mineta to groan.
Mandalay stared at Ragdoll, "How did you know he can speak those languages, Tomoko? Did Kiddo told you?"
"Yes." Ragdoll answered.
"How does he have time to learn other languages?" Melissa asked. "I only learned Japanese because of Uncle Might."
"Since he was once the CEO of Stark Industries, he has to learn other languages in order to communicate with other businessmen from other countries." Power Loader said. "It makes sense he has to learn them, otherwise, he would have to rely on a translator."
"Or maybe it's because of his occupation as a hero," Shinso said. "Since Stark went to another country to have relations between them, he must've learned various languages before he traveled there."
"That makes a lot more sense now." Power Loader agreed.
"I'm surprised that he also learned Latin when Mrs. Potts declared it as a dead language earlier," Aizawa said. "When he did he have time to learn such useless language?"
"One word: Offscreen." Present Mic answered.
Aizawa rolled his eyes, "Very funny, Mic."
00:37:38 - 00:37:47
"That isn't a lot of time." Fuyumi said.
"That's the standard limit for interrogations or visits." Naomasa said.
00:37:47 - 00:38:24
"Is he seriously giving him an advice on how to improve the device?" Yanagi questioned. "Isn't that a bad idea, even if Vanko is going away for a long time?"
"Yeah, it isn't a good idea to give information to your enemies, otherwise, they'll use it to their advantage in the future." Power Loader said.
"Stark just couldn't resist to brag about his intellect." Aizawa said.
"Why are you guys worrying? It's not like Whippylash can escape the prison overnight." Hatsume reassured.
"You have no idea how many times villains and criminals often escape in ordinary prisons which is why we have the maximum security prison all around the world, including the Tartarus." Naomasa said.
00:38:24 - 00:38:33
"Considering it ridiculously damaged the Mark V, I completely agree." Melissa agreed when Stark said that the replicated arc reactor is a passable knockoff.
"I still can't believe that someone else other than Stark can build it." Power Loader said.
"Yeah! Which means that I can replicate the arc reactor if I have the blueprints," Hatsume said before staring at Kiddo. "Will you give me the blueprints now, Mr. Kiddo?"
"I'm still deciding, Mei Hatsume." Kiddo straightforwardly answered.
00:38:33 - 00:38:46
"He didn't make the arc reactor for money, Stark." Power Loader said.
"Then what did he made it for? Revenge?" Sero asked which made Iida flinched at the word.
"Probably." Power Loader answered.
00:38:46 - 00:39:00
…like all guilty men, you try to rewrite your history.
The villains were surprised and shocked after hearing that quote from Whiplash. They were already guilty when they committed their first ever crimes. Once they joined the League, they tried to rewrite history by changing the society so that they could live whatever the hell they want. It seems that Whiplash indirectly knew on how the current villains will act in the future and he labeled Stark as a villain, much to Shigaraki's annoyance since he doesn't see Stark as a fellow villain. Those lines were meant for Stark, but for the villains, it probably meant for them and all the guilty men.
00:39:00 - 00:39:05
"Seriously? You have killed or injured the drivers back in Monaco." Shinso said.
"Yeah, he's being a hypocrite right now." Natsuo said.
00:39:05 - 00:39:19
"The real reason Stark is alive was because he built it himself using scraps and by memory while you built the knockoff version using the blueprints, yet it isn't even good as the original!" Hatsume retorted.
"But those blueprints were the reason why Stark remembered on how to make the arc reactor in the first place," Yaoyorozu said. "And the ones who created the blueprints were Howard Stark and Anton Vanko."
"So Anton indirectly saved his life?" Shoji questioned.
"Yes, because if it weren't for him and Howard then there was no way for Stark to survive in Afghanistan." Yaoyorozu answered.
"It isn't the first time to thank such horrible people that made us who we are now." All Might said as he glared at All For One, the creator of One For All.
00:39:19 - 00:39:34
If you make God bleed, the people will cease to believe him.
The quote had an impact on All Might. When he was once the Symbol of Peace, he was an icon to the world and the Number One Hero in Japan, nobody would dare to challenge such symbol which was the reason the crime rates were dropping. Then came the League of Villains who boldly challenged him at U.S.J. He was nearly obliterated by the Nomu, and had the people around the world saw that event then they would've ceased to believe in him since the invincible hero wasn't invincible.
He now understood why the League wanted to make him bleed, so that it'll shatter the people's belief and insecurities. The crime rates would've risen up at an incredible pace. After hearing Vanko's plan, he was lucky that the USJ Incident wasn't recorded, otherwise, it would've been the end of his hero career.
All Might stared at Shigaraki, "So that's why you attack the USJ…"
The reason why the people didn't cease to believe in All Might during his fight with All For One was because they could tell that their hero was fighting for them. It was also because he was in his weakened state. If he was having trouble fighting All For One in his muscle form then the people wouldn't believe in him anymore, even if he came out victorious.
"For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one's life." Kiddo quoted.
"That's from the Bible," Shiozaki said when she realized the quote's origin. "It's on the Book of Leviticus 7:11."
"I can't believe you remember that from a 1,000 paged book, Shiozaki." Tokage complimented.
00:39:34 - 00:39:47
"That was his plan," Aizawa said. "He wants Stark to be insignificant to the people."
"What do you mean, sensei?" Kirishima asked.
"The people saw Iron Man as an icon and a great hero to the world like All Might, hence, why the criminals and villains are afraid to fight such dangerous hero," Aizawa said. "However, Vanko proved that anyone can challenge the hero with ease which made most of the people cease to believe in him."
"And because Stark told the people AND government that there will be no one to challenge Iron Man, the government will now have an excuse to own the Iron Man suits because there was a threat that successfully challenged him," Power Loader said. "Vanko planned this from the start. He didn't care whether he would win or lose as long as people can see that their hero isn't their protector."
"So Vanko was right. Stark indeed lose." Midoriya said.
Aizawa stared at Bakugo, "This is what I meant, Bakugo. While Iron Man may have won the battle, he lost the war. It will happen to you in the future if you aren't careful with your words and actions."
"Tsk. That's absurd." Bakugo said as he couldn't believe that a hero lost the war from a weakass villain.
Shigaraki completely understood Whiplash's plan. It was because he had a similar plan during the USJ Incident. He wished that he could've killed the iron bastard, but he was satisfied that Vanko completely shattered the people's belief on Iron Man. He was envious that Whiplash managed to accomplish it while he failed miserably because All Might had a cheating Quirk.
00:39:47 - 00:40:00
The audience were surprised when Vanko knew about Stark's current condition.
"He knows that he's dying?" Komori questioned.
"It isn't surprising since Vanko is knowledgeable about the arc reactor," Power Loader answered. "He would certainly know about the palladium poisoning."
"That's a bit concerning." Tsunotori said.
"Pfft. So what? Anyone can figure it out once they connected the dots." Hatsume said.
00:40:00 - 00:40:17
The heroes and students were unsettled from the villain's laugh. They realized that he wasn't a crooked villain who thought that he can kill a hero easily, but a villain who planned to damage the reputation of a hero. These type of villains are masterminds and at least a world-level threat. If Whiplash was in their world, he would have successfully damaged one of the Top Heroes' reputation such as All Might and Endeavor despite being a low-rank villain. No, after he displayed his twisted intelligence, he would be at least a B-Rank Villain.
This story showed that some villains aren't all about defeating the heroes, stealing money, or terrorizing the country. It's about a villain who could damage the reputation of a hero. This isn't to be taken lightly. The villains were quite envious that Whiplash, a Quirkless man from Russia, managed to achieved his goal while they were nowhere near of accomplishing their's. It proves that Quirkless villains with brains are force to be reckoned with, even Bakugo admits it.
