These pure, unadulterated characteristics were drawn by an invisible force and landed in the hands of the few remaining Temperance Faction members.
Reinette Tinekerr, whose body had returned to normal size, was about to speak when her crimson eyes shifted downwards.
The inverted black mausoleum trembled, and the deep River of Eternal Darkness surged, as a pair of eyes burning with pale flames slowly opened.
Under the illumination of the pale flames, a gigantic feathered serpent, both illusory and real, covered entirely in large, dark-green scales, seemingly condensed from pure Death intent, appeared.
The white downy fur, previously stained with pale yellow grease in the gaps between its scales, had now vanished, replaced by pristine white feathers, each inscribed with strange symbols of varying shapes.
Even just seeing it would cause one's flesh and blood to rot, turning them into a Zombie.
This was the true, complete mythical creature form, untainted by Artificial Death corruption!
The feathered serpent, as if stepping out of an ancient myth, continuously shrunk and solidified amidst the pale flames, transforming into a figure wearing a golden bird-shaped crown and a deep black robe.
Pale lines emerged, outlining three-dimensional symbols of Death on the robe. Azik Eggers, who had rediscovered himself and re-ascended as a Death Consul, exited the Underworld Gate and surged out of the River of Eternal Darkness.
Even Sharron, who was already a seasoned demigod and had fully digested the Puppet potion, trembled slightly, let alone the Temperance Faction members who had not yet acquired divinity, and the Wraiths and phantoms drifting in the Abyss of Ferrying.
Even though they consciously restrained their auras, the pressure from the four complete mythical creatures, transcending the level of life, still plunged the entire city into a deathly silence.
With a slight shift of her blood-red eyes, Reinette Tinekerr tossed the Disciple of Silence characteristic to Sharron, then let out a silent shriek, transforming into an invisible barrier that isolated the many Temperance Faction members prostrating on the ground, as well as the few demigods from the Numinous Episcopate's Artificial Death faction they had taken in.
The pale flames that filled his pupils extinguished, returning to his original brown eyes, which held a sense of age. Azik pinched his brow, sorted through some scattered memories in his mind, and after a long sigh, said with a gentle smile:
"It's like I've had a long dream, and only now have I woken up."
"However, it's rare to see you all here after such a long time..."
Astor, who had already learned about the recent situation from Aaron, was not surprised by the current changes in this former Death Consul of the Balam Empire.
With his Abomination status, he could clearly see that Azik's previously fragmented soul had already healed. Although his Spirit Body still had some disharmonious aspects, putting him at a disadvantage when facing Angels with corresponding authority, it was no longer a major issue.
Because everyone present was an Angel and not afraid of corruption from the Cosmos, Astor directly recounted how Barranca, the King of Curses, had advanced to Sequence 1 Beauty Goddess with the help of Outer God corruption.
Azik's expression subtly hardened. After a moment of contemplation, he asked:
"Is the headquarters of the Rose School of Thought on Star Plateau?"
Astor, roughly guessing what the Death Consul was thinking, nodded slightly, then shook his head and sighed:
"There's no point in going there now; what's left is probably just a trap."
The fall of Suah had severely crippled the Indulgence Faction of the Rose School of Thought. Even if those Lunatics were unwilling, with the Primordial One's barrier still relatively intact and Outer Deities only able to exert a limited influence, abandoning this exposed old lair and lurking in the shadows, ready to strike, was their only option.
Reinette Tinekerr, who instinctively stood behind Astor, seemed to sense something and looked up slightly. A star-light-forged portal suddenly appeared on the barrier she had created.
Waving his hand to dispel the historical projection of the Star Crown, and after bidding farewell to the Matriarch of the Church of the Earth Mother, Aaron directly descended by utilizing the recorded scene of the Abyss of Crossing.
Aaron glanced at Azik, who had regained his true self and returned to his Angelic status, and Reinette Tinekerr, who had returned to normal and was no longer carrying her own head as before, and nodded with great satisfaction:
"Astor has already explained the general situation. The operation to continue encircling and annihilating the vital forces of the Indulgence Faction, in cooperation with the Life School of Thought, can proceed."
As he spoke, Aaron turned his head to Reinette Tinekerr, offering his suggestion, or rather, his promise:
"The Northern Continent will soon be engulfed in war, and the nations' control over their colonial areas in the Southern Continent will decline."
"I will provide you with assistance, secretly unifying the Highland Restoration Army near the Star Plateau in West Balam, as well as other chaotic indigenous regions, to rebuild the Highland Kingdom in West Balam, emulating the Balam Kingdom in East Balam."
This would both thoroughly stir up trouble in the Southern Continent and, to some extent, gather faith and anchors for Astor.
And compared to the relatively stable East Balam, West Balam was undoubtedly synonymous with chaos.
Aside from the areas controlled by Loen and Intis, certain indigenous generals supported by Loen, and tribes obeying Intis's commands, there were also numerous relatively independent city-state level forces that benefited from the balance of power between the two great nations.
Aaron, who simultaneously controlled the three major intelligence sources, the East Tucker family, the Church of the Evernight, and the newly incorporated Numinous Episcopate, quickly handed over information on several independent states he had already selected to Reinette Tinekerr, who was clearly intrigued.
Turning his gaze back to Azik, Aaron recalled the last time he took a branch of the River of Eternal Darkness from deep within Calderón, which caused the city of the dead, evolved from Gregrace's Divine Kingdom, to erupt in complete chaos.
After a moment of contemplation, he mentioned the River of Eternal Darkness beneath Calderón and the Death imprints lingering on both sides of its tributaries, emphasizing the many Azik Eggers imprints drifting in the gray-white torrent.
This was the price the Death Consul had to pay for constantly dying and being reborn over the past thousand years.
Listening to Aaron's narration and some scenes imprinted from his memories, Azik murmured thoughtfully:
"No wonder every time I traverse the Spirit World, I feel something deep within the Spirit World attracting me. As for your concern, I understand it, but you can rest assured."
"Only upon advancing to Sequence 0 Death will all Death imprints automatically unify."
"The River of Eternal Darkness is, after all, an ownerless Sefirah. As long as I don't approach Calderón, the Death imprints I left within it will not currently transmit corruption."
With confirmation from the person involved, Aaron nodded slightly and then asked:
"How is Dunn Smith?"
Hearing the somewhat familiar name, Azik's lips curved slightly, and he pointed to the inverted mausoleum behind him:
"He advanced to Sequence 5 Spirit Warlock too recently. Even if he meets all the Undying's advancement conditions, he still needs a period of precipitation. Hmm, the environment there is very suitable for him to digest the potion."
