Will Auceptin glanced at the somewhat surprised Audrey and the still bewildered others, then rubbed his bulging stomach and lazily added:
"Alright, as a newborn baby, I need to catch up on my sleep. We can talk about anything else later."
Catch up on sleep? Audrey resisted the urge to cover her face, picked up the baby who had started to feign sleep, and asked gently:
"If you don't mind, I'll just call you Will."
"As you said, what preparations should we make? Do we need to inform the Church?"
Will Auceptin rolled over, buried his head in the silver silk, and mumbled indistinctly:
"Don't worry about it. Do nothing, and nothing will go wrong."
"I'm just reminding you to pay a little more attention, so you don't get entangled in unnecessary trouble."
"As for me, you don't have to worry at all. If I intended to hide, only a few people in the entire Backlund would be able to find me."
Speaking of this, he coughed lightly, his tone rising a few notches:
"Also, your chef's ice cream is good. You can bring it to East Chester County. Hmm, it's just too sweet and needs some improvement."
Audrey was briefly stunned for a second. Only when the infant in her arms suddenly vanished did she come to her senses, and the corner of her mouth twitched involuntarily.
-----------------
Deep within the Sea of Collective Subconscious, in the Mind City "Eden," a black church adorned with skulls stood in the center of the Gothic-style complex.
In the center of the church, a massive cross stood in the grand but empty hall, entwined with a statue of a grayish-white giant dragon.
The President of the Psychology Alchemists, Pauli Derlau, surveyed the members of the Council wearing various masks, raised his hands, clasped them, and rested them on the surface of the long table, speaking slowly:
"Everyone, I apologize for disturbing your beautiful dreams."
With her eyes tightly closed and the mouth on her mask naturally drooping, Miss "Sloth" interrupted lazily:
"After all these years, you still haven't changed your verbose habit. There's no need for these pleasantries; you can get straight to the point."
Pauli Derlau's pale yellow eyebrows slightly raised. He glanced at Miss "Sloth," who looked on the verge of falling asleep, and calmly added:
"Everyone present is a demigod in the spiritual domain, and more or less, you can all feel the abnormality of tonight's Blood Moon."
"The dense Yin tide is merely the surface; more crucially, many strange mental imprints have appeared deep within the Sea of Collective Subconscious."
"Therefore, different personality masks will experience varying degrees of influence, especially certain Council members who enjoy exploring the Sea of Collective Subconscious need to pay extra attention."
At this point, Pauli Derlau, without any concealment, directly turned his head to look at "Gluttony" Howard Philip, paused for a moment, and then continued:
"In addition, the actions to instigate the Northern Continent nations to start a war must be expedited..."
When the indifferent voice reached his ears, it sounded somewhat hollow and distant. Below the long table, Hvin Rambis, wearing the "Pride" mask, suddenly felt a sudden yet intense palpitation.
"Outer Deity... Cosmos..."
A powerful consciousness transmitted from a virtual personality outside of Eden, causing Hvin Rambis's thoughts to suddenly halt.
With a stable medium, at the rank of an Abomination, information was forcibly transmitted through the form of a curse, which even Eden could not stop.
When Hvin Rambis passively learned the information about the Outer Deity and Cosmos, Pauli Derlau, who was at the head of the long table arranging specific tasks, suddenly changed his expression.
Within the entire grand and empty hall, various thoughts, spirits, and wills instantly swept through like a storm, surging half-illusory and half-real towards Hvin Rambis, who sat dazed in place.
Pauli Derlau tightly gripped the armrests of his wheelchair, and bright, illusory light immediately shone in his eyes, condensing into pairs of sacred and dreamlike wings.
Beneath layers of wings, a radiant angel, kneeling on one knee in devout prayer, extended its arm.
However, all of this came too late. Hvin Rambis, a demigod who had gained divinity, having established a connection through understanding, disintegrated and collapsed into a puddle of flesh in a bizarre and distorted manner, without any resistance, under the gaze of many Council members.
The brilliant radiant angel instantly dissolved the flesh and blood, but a mental Monster, corrupted and completely out of control, was reborn from the flesh and blood.
On the outskirts of Eden, in the area where it converged with the Sea of Collective Subconscious, countless distorted, dim lights seemed to be drawn by the mental pollution erupting from within Hvin Rambis, and began to invade this Mind City.
The expressions of the Psychology Alchemists Council members at the edge of the long table changed drastically. Pollution that could cause a demigod in the spiritual domain to die without resistance would yield the same result for them.
Pauli Derlau, as if sensing something, looked behind him. Beneath the cross entwined with the grayish-white giant dragon, a priest wearing a simple white robe and with a light gold beard covering his face stood there at some unknown time.
Putting down the silver cross pendant on his chest, Adam tilted his head slightly, his light-colored pupils stained pure gold.
Suddenly, magnificent, pitch-black stone pillars rose around Eden, and a vast Corpse Cathedral, large enough to envelop the entire Mind City, emerged, simultaneously blocking the gaze from the Cosmos.
The mental Monsters, attracted from deep within the Sea of Collective Subconscious, ceaselessly assaulting Eden, finally transformed into transparent, distorted faces protruding from the walls of the Corpse Cathedral.
"Hvin Rambis," who was continuously emitting mental pollution, stiffened in place. An invisible fluctuation swept over the distorted and distorted soul.
The next second, it disintegrated into mottled specks of light, leaving only the "Pride" mask covered in bizarre patterns, either pitch-black or dark red.
Adam, who had not spoken from beginning to end, picked up this mask. His clear, pure eyes swept over each Council member, whose expressions varied, and his figure vanished from the spot. Along with him, the Corpse Cathedral that enveloped the entire Eden also disappeared.
That terrifying feeling of everything being seen through slowly receded. "Gluttony" Howard Philip took a deep breath and looked at Pauli Derlau, hinting:
"Should we investigate the people Hvin Rambis has recently been in contact with?"
As Hermes's student, he knew very well that anyone who could kill Hvin Rambis in such a way was definitely an Angel, so he actively passed the problem to the President.
The gentle smile on Pauli Derlau's face had long vanished. Possessing a portion of Eden's authority, he knew even more clearly what had just happened. He coldly glanced at Howard Philip and responded indifferently:
"You just need to do your own work. I will take over Hvin Rambis's matter."
"At the very least, we need to put on a show and give those few in Loen an explanation..."
