Sigmund looked at Marcus for a long moment before speaking, his voice calm despite everything that had happened.
"It isn't your fault, Marcus. I already told you that. There are others to blame for this."
Frank raised his voice, unable to remain silent any longer. "Sigmund, we can't let this keep happening. And we can't allow them to carry out whatever plan they have prepared."
The tension in the room remained heavy, but Sigmund tried to keep everyone focused. "First, we need to bury Viktor."
William looked toward him, then hesitated before asking, "And what about Viktor's family?"
Sigmund's expression remained serious. "It will be as if the earth swallowed him, just like it always is when a member of Dominion dies."
Marcus looked up at him, his expression still filled with grief. Before he could say anything, Frank looked toward the bag that contained Viktor's remains.
"If Noah is behind this, it would be better if nobody touches that bag without protection," Frank said.
