Chapter 307 - Chapter 307: This Foolish Sibling Have Grown Bold!

Flash Cannon!

The exploding beam of the Flash Cannon collided fiercely with a corner of the Glaciate attack, erupting into a violent burst of sparks. The biting cold spread silently and continuously, seeping straight into the body of Zamazenta.

"Dragon Claw!"

A flash of lightning-like energy streaked across White Kyurem's entire body as the Black Kyurem form spread its wings wide and lunged toward the Shield Hero.

A sharp, azure radiance surged over its claws. Black Kyurem's expression was ferocious and savage as it swung its Dragon Claw downward with full force.

Impossible to dodge.

The Shield Hero instantly understood as its body was already stiff from the extreme cold.

It had been fighting Kyurem for quite some time. Although Ice-type moves weren't particularly effective against Zamazenta, constantly tanking hits from the ice dragon's freezing attacks had already slowed its movements without it noticing.

The shield before the Shield Hero's chest glowed with hardened metallic shine. Since dodging was impossible, then it would meet the attack head-on!

Iron Head!

Dragon Claw and Iron Head clashed violently. But when it came to sheer power, the Shield Hero Zamazenta was clearly not Black Kyurem's match.

A shockwave blasted out, and Black Kyurem's Dragon Claw hurled the Shield Hero backward—

"Follow through with Rock Slide!"

Lucas didn't hesitate at all and immediately ordered Black Kyurem to pursue.

"ROOAAR!!"

Black Kyurem spread its claws and roared.

The air rippled. Massive boulders materialized and plummeted toward the falling Zamazenta.

Zamazenta still hadn't even stabilized its posture. It could only watch as the gigantic rocks came crashing down toward it.

Gritting its teeth, it forcefully gathered energy and fired another Flash Cannon upward.

BOOM!!

The beam and the Rock Slide collided in mid-air, exploding into fragments.

"Fusion Flare!"

A massive fireball suddenly streaked across the battlefield and slammed directly into the Shield Hero.

It was Reshiram's Fusion Flare!

Fire-type moves crushed Zamazenta's defenses, and with no time to brace at all, even Zamazenta's iron defenses couldn't prevent the pain etched across its face.

But the assault wasn't over.

"Aura Sphere!"

Fire spread over Kyurem's body, shifting it back into its blazing White Kyurem form. Between its claws gathered a pale blue sphere of energy—

A Fighting-type Aura Sphere!

The glowing sphere shot across the battlefield like a comet, smashing heavily into Zamazenta once more.

Struck by yet another super-effective Fighting-type attack and one launched by White Kyurem no less, Zamazenta cried out in pain. Its body dropped at an even faster speed, crashing hard onto the ground.

"Man, that's convenient. As expected, a Kyurem that can freely switch forms is ridiculously strong."

Lucas clicked his tongue in amazement. This was the true power of movie-version Kyurem—nothing like the troublesome setup required in the games, needing DNA Splicers and both dragons just to change form.

His Kyurem switched forms as easily as breathing.

The White form, specializing in overwhelming special attacks; the Black form, dominating through raw physical power—fighting with it was unbelievably smooth. And it even had extra signature moves to spam.

"Don't let it get back up. Kyurem, Earthquake!"

After marveling for a moment, Lucas instantly gave another decisive command.

They couldn't give Zamazenta any chance to recover. Once Zamazenta was down, Kyurem would be free to move, drastically shifting the flow of the battle.

Lightning coursed through its body as Black Kyurem dropped from the air like a meteor, preparing to unleash a full-strength Earthquake—

But then—

"Hm?"

Lucas turned his head, raising a brow.

A streak of blue light shot toward Black Kyurem at high speed.

Kyurem also sensed it. It glanced at Lucas, halted its attack, and hovered in mid-air.

The blue streak landed—revealing a cold, wolf-shaped figure whose sharp eyes locked onto Kyurem.

It was the Sword Hero, Zacian!

"Zacian…"

Lucas looked a little embarrassed.

Well… he did have his reasons, but he had just beaten Zacian's younger brother into the dirt…

At first, Zacian had been hostile toward him and Eternatus, but after several past incidents where it stepped in to help, they had gained something like cooperative trust.

Zacian gave Lucas a brief look. It had rushed over the moment it sensed Zamazenta's weakening aura.

Because in its perception, Zamazenta's life force had suddenly dipped—yet when Zacian arrived, the first thing it saw was its younger brother sprawled on the ground.

"Zamazenta—"

"Zacian, look out!"

Zacian turned, intending to check on its brother—but the moment it faced forward, its vision filled entirely with blazing red light.

Lucas's warning rang in its ears.

Zacian's pupils shrank sharply, this sensation was all too familiar.

It was Zamazenta's Behemoth Bash.

A massive force slammed into Zacian before it could react.

Lucas, Reshiram, and Black Kyurem all stared in stunned silence.

Zamazenta's Behemoth Bash had straight-up blasted Zacian across the battlefield, rolling it violently across the ground and carving deep trenches into the earth!

"Zacian, are you alright?"

Lucas called out with a strange expression.

"I am unharmed."

A calm telepathic voice replied.

Zacian rose slowly, frost-cold eyes staring at the enraged, roaring Zamazenta.

"It seems my brother's brain is malfunctioning. I need to fix it."

Zacian's voice was flat, but the chilling anger beneath was unmistakable.

Clearly, Zacian was extremely unhappy about being sucker-punched by its own younger brother.

This foolish sibling—leave it alone for a short while and it grows bold indeed?

It actually dared to attack its own elder sister?

Excellent. Truly excellent.

Zacian glared coldly at the maddened Zamazenta. The rusted sword in its mouth gleamed with blue light, transforming into a massive sword—

Behemoth Blade!

Lucas stared speechlessly at the frost-cold Zacian and the frenzied Zamazenta.

Good lord… was this what they call a loving sister and a filial younger brother?

A short while later—

"Are you… sure this is okay?"

Lucas tilted his head, looking down at the mound of… 'mosaic' on the ground, asking the now-calm Zacian.

That 'mosaic' was, of course, Zamazenta.

Zamazenta looked miserable. Not only had it been forced out of Crowned Shield Form, but it had fainted completely. Its body was covered in injuries, and occasional twitches were the only proof it was still alive…

"It is fine. His endurance far surpasses mine. He will not die."

Zacian replied lightly, completely confident. It had long mastered the art of disciplining its brother, knowing exactly where to hit and how hard.

Besides, Zamazenta's durability was definitely superior to its own. It wouldn't die.

Lucas: "…"

Even if that's true, isn't this way too heavy-handed…

He glanced sympathetically at the battered Zamazenta. How had this poor thing survived living with Zacian all these years?

"What is happening here?"

Zacian surveyed the battlefield, its face showing very human-like displeasure. Though it had sensed large numbers of legendary auras in the distance, seeing all of them gathered here was still shockingly absurd.

How did this human always end up in conflicts with legendaries?

Zacian gave Lucas a sideways glance. The situation was bizarre beyond belief.

"Hoopa's power is malfunctioning. Too much resentment. Not my fault."

Lucas instantly caught Zacian's look and raised both hands innocently.

To be fair, he really hadn't expected to clash with the evil Hoopa this quickly.

…Even though he had been preparing for the moment the evil Hoopa would fully awaken.

"Blame this little one. It caused all these legends to be summoned and controlled."

Lucas lifted the small confinded Hoopa by its scarf, indicating that all responsibility should fall on it.

"Eh? How can you blame me?"

Hoopa puffed up angrily. "Hoopa still doesn't even understand what's happening!"

It was a victim too! After regaining its power, its mind had nearly been overwhelmed by the evil Hoopa's influence. The inside of its consciousness had been pitch-black—terrifying.

"What do we do now? Will my brother remained affected?"

Despite disciplining Zamazenta moments earlier, Zacian still worried.

It had only gone hard on him because it sensed something was wrong—otherwise, with Zamazenta's respect toward it, the wolf wouldn't dare attack Zacian under normal circumstances.

"Relax. The resentment is temporary. As soon as we defeat the evil Hoopa's shadow, everything will clear up."

Lucas reassured it. The fact that evil Hoopa could influence the minds of six top-tier legendaries was indeed insane.

But it couldn't last long. The moment evil Hoopa was defeated or resealed, the affected legends would immediately regain their senses.

"That big one?"

Zacian raised its head. In the far-off sky, the enormous evil Hoopa was entangled in battle with the black Rayquaza.

Cold fury flickered in Zacian's eyes.

It had dared to control its brother.

Unforgivable.

"It's troublesome. We can't handle it easily. For now, let's take care of the other legends first."

Lucas suggested after noticing Zacian's rising hostility.

If Black Kyurem, Zacian, and Black Rayquaza joined forces, they might suppress evil Hoopa.

But if Hoopa summoned reinforcements from the other battlefields, things could spiral into chaos.

"…Fine."

After a moment of silence, Zacian agreed.

"Then… who should we take down next?"

Lucas's gaze swept across the multiple battlefields, selecting their next target.

Meanwhile, near Giovanni's position—

Lysandre's expression was ugly, and beside him, Aliana, Bryony, Mable, and the other Team Flare admins—

Only…

"Who is this guy…?"

Lysandre stared at the elegant, composed Giovanni in shock.

This middle-aged man was unbelievably strong.

His Mega Gyarados and Pyroar had been defeated effortlessly—by Giovanni's Beedrill.

A Beedrill!

What kind of nonsense was this!?

The Team Flare admin trio had also been beaten easily by the younger trainers accompanying Giovanni. And then—

They were tied up.

All of them.

The entire upper management of Team Flare had been wiped in one swoop.

"Hah~ so Zacian arrived too. Looks like everything is under control now."

Green gazed into the distance, her voice relaxed. She had been truly nervous when she saw evil Hoopa summon six top-tier legendariess.

But it seemed—

Lucas really could handle it.

Well, of course—he was the man she had chosen.

"Mm. With Zamazenta already defeated, Lucas should be able to take them down one by one. The outcome is basically decided."

Giovanni nodded with a faint smile. With his sharp experience, he could clearly see the shift in the battlefield.

All Lucas needed to do was defeat the legendary Pokémon one at a time, and the entire situation would tip completely in his favor.

Thinking this far, Giovanni couldn't help but sigh inwardly.

He had underestimated Lucas's true limits.
