The rooftops of Velaris were always quiet at night.
Even in a capital city in the magic universe, a world that's filled with mana, dungeons and monsters, one would had expected some but of chaos, but everywhere was too calm. Especially the roof of the inn Chrises is staying in.
Of course, he wasn't hoping for something like monster tide or a anything that could cause uneasiness or the bad kind of chaos.
The truth is that up here, the wind was softer. The sky was clearer. And for Liam, it had become something unexpected. It has become somewhat of a sanctuary for him.
He stood near the edge, his coat fluttering slightly in the cool breeze, eyes lifted toward the sky.
