A/N : Its my birthday, so enjoy an extra chapter guys.
---<>---
Cold emptiness greeted Hinata first.
She woke with a sharp gasp, fingers curling into nothing but air. The ground beneath her felt solid yet unreal, smooth and colorless, stretching endlessly in every direction.
There was no sky, no sun, no moon, no vegetation here. It felt like she was in another world altogether.
The thought of Genjutsu crossed her mind; however, that couldn't be the case. Her Byakugan otherwise would have alerted her.
There was only a vast, hollow space that pressed in on her senses. Even activating her Byakugan, with much effort from her still catching-up senses, didn't provide any answers. It was no trap room, seal, or structure made by men; it was a real world.
However, her Byakugan did notice a familiar figure around her.
"K–Karin?" she called, her voice echoing faintly.
A groan answered her.
Karin stirred a few steps away, pushing herself up on her elbows. Her head throbbed, memories crashing in all at once—Raikage's presence, the sudden violence, Tsunade's frozen stillness, the flash of pain, then darkness.
Her reaction was also quite similar to Hinata's; she immediately opened her Mind Eye of Kaguya to search around, only to find nothing.
"…Where are we?" Karin muttered.
Hinata's breathing quickened. "We were attacked," she said, piecing it together. "Raikage and Cloud shinobi kidnapped us..." Her voice almost trembled, recalling the same thing happening back when she was only a toddler.
"And after that?" Karin asked, observing the area around her and finding it familiar.
She had seen it before, but only briefly. A long time ago.
Hinata shook her head. "Nothing. It's blank."
Karin nodded, her mind finally piecing things together.
'This place…' She knew this place.
Her pulse steadied, but she kept her expression neutral. "Don't panic," she said calmly. "We're not in danger."
Hinata turned to her, startled. "You know where we are?"
Karin didn't answer. She simply sat back and waited.
"Yes and no. For the time being, just relax. If I'm not wrong, then we have already been saved..."
"Saved? By who?" Hinata asked more urgently, a bit worried about their situation. More worried about the others who weren't kidnapped by the Cloud shinobi.
Were they alive? What did Raikage and his men do to them? Questions like that tormented Hinata's mind.
However, Karin refused to say anything more, and Hinata had no other option but to wait.
Time passed strangely in that void—too slow, too fast. It was hard to tell how much time had passed. They just waited silently, until finally something happened.
Space itself twisted. The air folded inward, spiraling like a broken mirror.
Hinata flinched.
A figure stepped through the distortion.
"Yo... you girls need anything here."
"Sukuna…" both Karin and Hinata shouted out in unison after seeing the familiar figure.
Relief hit Hinata so hard her knees nearly gave out. The tension she hadn't realized she was holding finally released, and she let out a shaky breath.
Karin didn't stop at just letting out a sigh, though; she directly launched herself forward, slamming into Sukuna with enough force to knock him back. He barely had time to react before her arms locked around him, face buried in his chest.
Now he had one girl sitting on his lap, holding him like a koala, while the other looked completely awkward.
"You... you, why did you take so much time coming? I thought, I, you—" her earlier composure finally cracked after she slammed into his arms and started breaking down, voice trembling, while her words made no sense.
He steadied them both without pushing her away, with great difficulty.
Hinata was left speechless. 'Why were you so composed until now, then, Karin-chan? Was all that earlier acting, or what's happening now?'
Still, Hinata had a soft smile touching her lips as her own fear finally faded.
"Ah, sorry, sorry... it took a long time handling that Raikage, then Tsunade and Shizune appeared so I had to shut their mouths as well. Then I had to do the cleanup, so it took a long time. Were you scared..."
For once, seeing the crying girl holding him for her dear life, he didn't joke around. While on the other side, seeing Karin bawling her eyes out, Hinata also felt like shedding a tear or two to morally support her friend.
So she started sobbing, though she was more sophisticated about it, not wailing loud enough to make Sukuna wince while rubbing her snout on his shirt.
Now Sukuna had two crying girls, and no idea how to coax them. Sakura usually didn't cry, at least nowadays, and back then, offering her candy or something seemed to work.
"Wait..." but then suddenly Karin's tears stopped; she snapped up to him.
"How did you know I was in danger? Did the village send a team to save us?" she asked with confusion.
"Oh, that—it's because of this." Sukuna took out the broken fragments of the red hairpin he gave her, which led him to her in time.
"My hairpin...?" Karin blinked in confusion.
"You see, I put a seal on it with my energy, so when it gets broken, I'll know. That's why I bought this fragile-looking one as a gift."
Karin looked at the broken hairpin and then back to Sukuna. Her eyes teared up even more. He gave this pin to her years ago. It had been so long. Meaning all this time, he had been looking out for her.
A big blush appeared on her face, face red.
Seeing her silence, Sukuna felt like this was it for her, and a bit of encouragement to loli-Hinata before he could send them back. He tried to move; however, Karin wouldn't let go.
"You idiot," she muttered.
Before Sukuna even knew it, the girl wrapped her hands around his neck and pulled him closer.
Hinata, who was watching, suddenly had her eyes widen.
"K-Karin-chan... so bold." She found her own breathing quickening, and a deep flush appeared on her face. She wished to block her vision, but her hands were clenched together too tightly. She wished to turn her face, but unknowingly she activated her Byakugan, so the angle didn't matter anymore.
Sukuna felt a soft sensation on his lips; the sudden action left him stunned until his mind registered that he had just had his first kiss.
Karin's lips didn't stop at just a touch; she went deeper.
Her body arched to get the best position. Her chest pressed harder against his, while her butt rubbed at his groin.
"Hmm, ah, hmm."
Hinata's mind couldn't take it anymore; smoke seemed to come out upon hearing those voices from Karin.
Sukuna's hands wrapped around her. While he didn't wish to be a lolicon, what could he do if the girl herself was ready to throw herself at him?
So he enjoyed the moment, kissing back until the girl herself calmed down. Or at least until he no longer could stay calm.
Saliva seemed to be exchanged between them, and Karin sucked on his lips until she was running out of air and separated.
"Haa, haa..." Loud breathing noises made both even more aroused than they were. Sukuna had no idea why the breathing noises were more sexy than the kiss, but they were, for some reason.
Hinata being there just added on top of that. What kind of strange fantasy was that, he had no idea.
Only after the kiss did Karin's face blush red, looking much like a tomato.
"Well, if killing a village Kage will give me that reward, I wonder who I need to kill to get more out of you, girl," Sukuna teased.
Karin's face flushed even deeper, but then she stiffened.
"K-kill? You killed him?"
"Ah... yes, that's a long story..."
"And Hinata, you can remove that hand in front of you now. Those gaps between your fingers were enough to give you a front-row seat either way."
"Ah... me! I-I didn't." The Hyuga princess blushed red after being caught.
"Sureeeeee...." Sukuna rolled his eyes.
"Hey, don't change the topic. Tell me what happened." Karin seemed a bit too excited; she grabbed him by his collar, shaking him to get answers out of him.
"Okay, okay, girl. Let me go, or else next time you want to taste my puke..."
