The five individuals from different factions stared in stunned silence at Qiangu Dieting, who had committed suicide without hesitation. They were still struggling to process the overwhelming amount of information they had just received—it was simply too much to digest.

"By the way, there's one more thing," the Plane Will added. "The Abyssal Plane was also deliberately lured here by Tang San. His foresight was sharp—he predicted that this plane would eventually reach a dead end, so he orchestrated a grand scheme to draw in the Abyssal Plane. On one hand, it was to replenish the plane's origin energy, ensuring the survival of the Douluo Continent. On the other hand, he didn't want his son to grow old and die on Douluo Dalu without ever ascending to godhood. He needed his son to survive until his return, so he could bring him into the Divine Realm."

"What?!"

Everyone was shocked once again.

Back then, the Abyssal Plane had accidentally triggered a cosmic restriction—a broken and dying Divine Realm—which allowed it to sense the existence of Douluo Dalu. This restriction had been set up by Tang San precisely for this moment.

When the Abyssal Sage Emperor recklessly merged the Abyssal Plane's origin energy with Douluo Dalu, that would be Tang San's moment to reap the rewards.

However, what Tang San failed to account for was the immense loss of life on Douluo Dalu over the past ten thousand years. The Abyssal Sage Emperor had spent six thousand years plotting his invasion and another three thousand years launching attacks, inflicting catastrophic casualties on Douluo Dalu.

"Don't tell me the Sea God's son is—" Mo Lan spoke fearfully. Even as someone who didn't cultivate, she had sensed Tang Wulin's extraordinary nature. And his surname was Tang, with the Blue Silver Grass as his martial soul…

"Tang Wulin!" Leng Yaozhu declared firmly.

The Smiling Douluo's expression darkened, his thoughts unreadable.

"Very well. I ask that you all convey my intentions in full before leaving." The Plane Will waved its hand, and an invisible force enveloped the five of them. None resisted as they were instantly transported through a spatial passage.

Bai Xu, who had been observing everything from the sidelines, chuckled. "How do you feel now that some of the truth has been revealed?"

The Plane Will sighed. "They've been told the reasons behind everything. What they choose to do with that knowledge is up to them. It's often said that nature provides for humanity, yet humanity gives nothing back. I never expected them to side with me—after all, soul masters do not represent all of humanity."

The Plane Will was deeply afraid that Bai Xu might, in a fit of rage, annihilate the entire human race.

---

Back on Douluo Dalu, only about an hour had passed. Five of the six who had departed had returned. Since Qiangu Dieting's death had been anticipated, no one was particularly surprised.

"Initiate an immediate top-level military conference! Representatives from the Tang Sect, Shrek Academy, the Spirit Pagoda, the Federal War God Hall, and all legion commanders must assemble at once—this is critical!" The Sky Transcending spoke urgently, swiftly making his way to the Federal Assembly Hall in the heart of Mingdu.

"You five, come with me!" He did not dismiss the Smiling Douluo and the others, instead bringing them along.

Within ten minutes, the leaders of every major faction had gathered once again.

Guan Yue steadied his nerves, calming his rapid breathing before speaking. "Today, I will reveal the truth about this plane. Some of this information involves the founders and core figures of certain organizations. I ask that you hear me out completely…"

One bombshell after another was dropped.

The legendary figure revered for tens of thousands of years, was actually an otherworldly demon!

Tang Wulin—the son of the Sea God, Tang San!

The Abyssal Plane had been lured here by Tang San?!

The Spirit Ice Douluo was actually handpicked by Tang San to be his son-in-law?!

Tang San's parents had stolen the authority of Douluo Dalu's Plane Will, becoming the Plane Lord and the Life Core respectively?!

Was this some kind of joke?!

What was Douluo Dalu—the Tang family's private garden?!

In an instant, the military commanders present cast wary and probing glances toward Tang Wulin. Suddenly, all the miracles he had achieved made perfect sense.

No wonder he had become the leader of both the Tang Sect and Shrek Academy—he was simply inheriting his birthright!

No wonder he could fight against a Limit Douluo as a Hyper Douluo—did they think being the son of a God King was a joke?!

No wonder he had triumphed in the Star Luo Empire's Five Gods' Trial—again, the son of a God King!

No wonder he was the Chosen One of the Plane—give me a break, his grandfather was the Plane Lord!

The assembly hall erupted into chaos, resembling a marketplace haggling session. The legion commanders whispered among themselves, some even conferring with subordinates. Meanwhile, the Tang Sect and Shrek Academy factions remained eerily silent, stunned by the revelation of Tang Wulin's divine lineage.

"Enough!" Tang Wulin stood, summoning the Sea God Trident as he openly acknowledged his identity. "That's right—I am Tang Wulin, son of the Sea God, Tang San. This is an unchangeable fact. But the rest of the claims about my father are absolutely false! He would never—"

As he spoke, Tang Wulin noticed with dismay that many of the legion commanders—aside from those he had worked with before—regarded him with deep apprehension, some even avoiding his gaze entirely.

No one dared to oppose him openly. Who would be foolish enough to defy the grandson of the Plane Lord? For all they knew, the Plane Lord himself might be watching. One wrong word, and they could drop dead on the spot.

Chen Xinjie gave Tang Wulin a reassuring look before taking over. "This meeting is adjourned. I urge you all to carefully consider your decisions upon returning. Based on the information brought back by these five, the otherworldly demon is determined to invade Douluo Dalu. Whether or not you choose to intervene… that's for you to decide."

As soon as he finished speaking, the faction leaders hastily dispersed, rushing back to their respective headquarters.

As for whether they would help?

Now that they knew Bai Xu wasn't here to destroy Douluo Dalu, the military factions with no prior grievances against him had no desire to get involved. Taking the wrong side in a battle between gods could mean annihilation. Since they couldn't become gods anyway, what did it matter who ruled the plane? It was just a matter of answering to a different superior.

As for the Sea God Legion, the Central Legion, and others closely tied to the Tang Sect and Shrek Academy, they awaited Tang Wulin's next move.

Spirit Pagoda Headquarters.

Gu Yuena skimmed through the messages from allied legion commanders, all seeking her stance on the matter. Should they wade into these troubled waters? Success could mean becoming founding contributors to a new regime, while failure would mean certain death.

She smirked. "Now the Federation will never unite against Bai Xu. Heh, it's understandable—everyone here is a Limit Douluo. They'll go back and think hard. In the twenty thousand years since Tang San's generation of Shrek's Seven Monsters ascended to godhood, only the Spirit Ice Douluo and the Dragon Butterfly Douluo achieved divinity. One was the God King's daughter, the other his pre-selected son-in-law… It's hard not to suspect that the Divine Realm has been deliberately suppressing Douluo Dalu's path to godhood."

Now, the entire Douluo Continent was in chaos.

A life-and-death decision lay before them. Succeed, and they might become rising stars in a new Divine Realm. Fail, and they would rest in peace—permanently.

Both outcomes were extremes.
