"Brother…"
Aurelia's voice trembled as she called out, her body still sprawled on the cold stone floor.
Shock flickered across her face as she stared up at Alexis, disbelief written plainly in her widened eyes.
She understands that although they haven't shared much sibling relationship or bond but seeing how he just hurt her for Lumina without thinking twice hurt her so bad.
He did not rush to her side.
Instead, he looked down at her with an expression so cold it sent a chill through everyone present.
"Why in the world," Alexis said slowly, "would you speak to her that way?"
Aurelia swallowed hard.
"Using words that are not worthy of royal blood," he continued. "Do you think being my sister grants you the right to humiliate another royal in front of servants?"
"I… I…" Aurelia stuttered, her lips trembling.
Lumina stood quietly nearby, her head slightly tilted. Then, slowly, a smirk curved her lips.
