Chapter 77 - Hero

Aoshi, of course, had no idea that Hiruzen had already begun to view him as a potential candidate for the next Hokage.

The moment the Wind Release: Rasenshuriken took full shape, he launched a shadow clone straight at Satori in a fearless suicide attack. The clone yelled, "Here I come, Satori. Face your death."

Yet as a mere clone with no rights of its own, it could only carry out the main body's intention without question.

Taking advantage of the moment when Satori was occupied dodging attacks from the others, Aoshi's clone soared into the air and appeared behind it, slamming the Wind Release: Rasenshuriken downward with full force.

This time, Satori failed to evade.

Boom! The instant the attack connected, the Rasenshuriken detonated with a terrifying surge of power.

Aoshi's shadow clone was obliterated on the spot.

The violent shockwave rippled outward in all directions, forcing every Jonin present to tense with alarm. Even from a considerable distance, they could feel the overwhelming force.

The sheer power of the jutsu was overwhelming.

And no one understood that better than Satori, who had taken the full force of the blow.

Although Satori had consistently evaded ninjutsu and was rarely affected by conventional techniques even when struck, the Wind Release: Rasenshuriken was different. It attacked on a cellular level, inflicting catastrophic internal damage that even Satori couldn't endure.

For the first time, it was wounded. Letting out a pained, guttural howl, Satori plummeted from the sky.

"Now's our chance—seal it!" Hiruzen ordered sharply.

Immediately, several Jonin proficient in sealing arts surged forward to activate the Sealing Jutsu: Triangle Seal.

A massive, transparent green barrier rapidly materialized in the shape of a pyramid, its walls forged from pure chakra, trapping Satori within.

But before the sealing team could breathe a sigh of relief, Satori erupted into a violent frenzy inside the formation.

Though the Rasenshuriken had inflicted serious damage, it hadn't been a fatal strike. It was a monster, after all, something far beyond the realm of ordinary foes, not so easily subdued.

Despite the sealing team's desperate efforts, pouring every ounce of chakra into holding it back, Satori roared in defiance—shattering the barrier and breaking free through sheer brute force.

"Even sealing jutsu doesn't work on this monster?" someone cried out in despair.

"It's not that it doesn't work. We just need to gravely wound it first!" Aoshi immediately explained as he drew his blade and held it in front of him.

Satori, now freed and furious, glared at Aoshi and roared, "You bastard—die!"

With a violent flap of its wings, it launched straight at Aoshi.

Since Aoshi was the only one capable of disabling its abilities and truly injuring it, Satori naturally prioritized eliminating him first.

Its speed was staggering—within the blink of an eye, it was upon Aoshi, claws slashing down in a lethal arc.

Clang!

But Aoshi had anticipated the assault. His blade rose just in time, intercepting the blow with a sharp metallic clash. In that instant, Hiruzen and Tsunade launched their attacks from both flanks.

Sensing their combined power and unwilling to take further damage, Satori was forced to retreat skyward.

"Shadow Clone Jutsu!"

Aoshi immediately created dozens of shadow clones—the very limit of what he could summon at once.

After all, from the moment the mission to rescue Kushina began, Aoshi had been fighting nonstop. Even someone like him had nearly exhausted his chakra reserves.

"Lord Hokage, please buy me some time! I'll finish Satori off for good!"

In the original story, Naruto had used Sage Mode to unleash the Rasenshuriken and defeat Satori with a single devastating blow. Aoshi, however, had yet to master Sage Arts.

So while the same jutsu could wound Satori, it wasn't enough to truly cripple the monster. But if one strike couldn't finish it, then he would simply unleash many.

Dozens of Wind Release: Rasenshuriken—he refused to believe Satori could endure them all.

"Understood. Leave it to us," Hiruzen replied without the slightest hesitation.

Under his command, Tsunade and the other Jonin unleashed wave after wave of relentless attacks, determined not to let Satori disrupt Aoshi's preparations.

With their unwavering support, Aoshi successfully conjured dozens of Rasenshuriken, each one swirling with deadly, razor-sharp chakra.

Sensing the mounting danger, Satori flapped its wings furiously, attempting to soar higher into the sky to avoid being struck.

But with the Four Violet Flames Formation firmly in place, escape was impossible. Unbothered by the searing burns of the violet flames, Satori hurled itself against the barrier over and over, desperate to break free.

Yet how could it possibly shatter a formation cast by four elite Jonin working in seamless unison?

"You wretches! I'll kill every last one of you!" Satori roared in maddened fury.

But before it could take any further action, the barrage of Rasenshuriken came crashing down. Dozens of cataclysmic explosions erupted within the barrier, unleashing a storm of raw destruction.

The rectangular Four Violet Flames Formation trembled violently under the attack, its once-solid structure distorting and buckling like a sponge under immense pressure.

At last, it could endure no more—the formation cracked apart and disintegrated into fragments of chakra. Compared to the more advanced Four Red Yang Formation, it simply lacked the strength to contain such devastation.

"Even the Four Violet Flames Formation couldn't hold it?!" Hiruzen and Tsunade exclaimed in disbelief, their voices thick with shock.

If even legends like them were shocked, the remaining Jonin were left utterly dumbstruck.

All eyes turned to Aoshi—no longer with doubt or uncertainty, but with awe and reverence. Though still technically a Genin, the shinobi world revered one thing above all else: strength.

And Aoshi had already proven himself worthy.

From the crowd, someone couldn't help but cry out, "Lord Aoshi!"

That single cry sparked a chorus of voices. In that moment, Aoshi stood as nothing less than a hero. And rightly so, without him, they would never have been able to bring down Satori.

Had the monster endured until their chakra reserves ran dry, the consequences would have been catastrophic.

Meanwhile, Satori—now grievously wounded by the relentless barrage of Rasenshuriken—plummeted to the ground with a thunderous crash.

The sealing Jonin acted immediately, rushing in to bind it once more with quickness. This time, Satori had no strength left to resist.

To ensure there would be no further incidents, Hiruzen personally stepped forward and applied several additional layers of sealing techniques. As Hokage, he was more than proficient in such sealing jutsu.

With the reinforced array of seals now in place, there was no longer any chance for Satori to escape.

After confirming the monster's condition, Aoshi finally exhaled a long breath of relief.

Satori's power stemmed from the massive influx of chakra it had received through the Box of Ultimate Bliss. Unless someone injected it with a new chakra, it would never regain its strength.

And Konoha would never allow that to happen. Once Satori's origins were thoroughly investigated, it would be permanently sealed back into the Box, never to emerge again.

Back in Konoha—

Under the command of Hatake Sakumo and other elite Jonin such as Uchiha Mikoto, the rogue Grass ninja who had instigated the chaos were swiftly apprehended.

None of the Daimyo or nobles suffered any harm.

As for Rasa and other Sand Ninjas—who had remained silent and made no suspicious moves—they were escorted back to their quarters under heavy watch, awaiting further instructions from Konoha.

Naturally, they would still be subject to strict surveillance.

Thus, the chaos triggered by Satori's sudden appearance came to a decisive close. News of the incident spread like wildfire across the ninja world.

Many were shocked by the sheer might Konoha had demonstrated, but even more stunned by the name Hirakawa Aoshi. A super Genin who had single-handedly turned the tide of battle!
