I know a lot of people—or at least some—are getting confused. Well, I'm assuming everyone understands what's going on because I'm just like, "Yeah, no way they haven't read both COI and LOTM if they're reading this."
Anyway, mainly I would like to answer any question you have, no matter what it is about the novels. Or, you can copy-paste or write out a part of a chapter and ask what I'm referring to, and I'll answer.
Please heed the spoiler warning because I'll straight up answer everything about what's going on and maybe even their Sequence 9-5, just in case someone really wants to know.
Also, I have to say this: in a chapter—not a comment—Chapter 28 is where stuff really goes down. Every other chapter so far is just to give future readers a good "ahhh" moment as they realize, "Oh, this is when it happened," because...
Well, I don't like bullshit "well, this just happened" plot lines in novels. Even though LOTM is amazing, COI had a few that affected LOTM plot lines. If you want to just ask about plot threads to know what to look out for, I will answer as well.
Even though I made this for detective LOTM fans to be like, "Oh shit, this is going to happen, isn't it?"—I want casual fans to understand certain things or what certain events lead to. I know some fans have already realized, but Paul seems to have a certain someone's corruptions. Two of them, actually.
One has the ability to survive what's about to happen in Chapter 27 from being invincible, and the other can cling to certain things and survive that way. Or someone's—cough, cough—"Who said said?"
