The moment they arrived, Den finished saying his goodbyes to Tom, with the promise that one day he would visit the island again. Tom also promised to visit fishman island in the future, when he could.
Finally Kuina, Den and Otojoō, got on Ars back, and he took flight.
After a few hours they got to sabaody, and while Ars could use his ability to repel the water and keep it at bay from Kuina, so she could descend without using a coated ship. He wanted to let her enjoy the trip down to fishman island.
Ars looked at Otojoō and Den, and commented.
"I hope you don't mind but I would like to use a ship to descend, so Kuina can enjoy the beautiful views on the way down."
Seeing both nod, Ars added.
"I will request a ride from someone on the way there."
They all followed curiously, the three of them wanted to see what he meant by requesting a ride…
It didn't take long to find a pirate ship with coating on, Ars just jumped in directly and shortly after screams could be heard from inside it.
Ars came to the area where Kuina, Den and Otojoō were waiting and told them with a very pleased and innocent looking face.
"This pirate captain here…"
He lifted a half dead pirate in front of him, and then kept going.
"Agreed to give us a free ride to fishman island, isn't he kind?"
Den looked at Ars astonished, before commenting.
"That kind of request… is very hard to say no to…"
Ars smiled and explained calmly, while showing his fists.
"This can solve most of the problems, if the problem is not being solved… That only means I'm not hitting hard enough."
Otojoō couldn't help but ask curiously and was a bit shocked by his words.
"What type of problems are you talking about? Not everything is solvable that way, right!?"
Ars laughed, pointed at Kuina, and exclaimed.
"The exceptions are problems with my wives, my kingdom or children in general… If you hit one of those, normally it only makes the problem worse, and harder to solve."
Den who was listening couldn't help but nod. And Kuina agreed with a serious face.
"You're damn right it will…"
After that they boarded the ship, and the pirates there decided that following Ars requests was in their best interests, especially after seeing what he had done to their captain.
Ars let Kuina enjoy the descent, while keeping her company, and a while later they arrived at fishman island. And this time they did enter the normal way they were supposed to.
They disembarked leaving the pirates thanking their gods for their survival and rethinking their approach for life.
Den also wanted to leave, but Ars stopped him.
"Can you please come with me to the café, who knows what they will think if i appear alone…"
Den laughed and nodded, he understood what Ars meant.
Once they got to the café, they found both Gluppy and Pecillia helping around and since some mermaids at the café had seen Den, he decided to leave, but not before giving a hug and a heartfelt thanks to Ars.
"Thank you for indulging my request, and for allowing me to meet him again… I can't thank you enough, so if you ever need help on fishman island i will do my best."
Ars nodded, smiled a sunny smile before replying.
"You don't really have to thank me… But I will take that offer for help in the future, just in case I need it. And stay safe!"
Ars was going to talk with Gluppy and Pecillia, but Kuina was already talking with them with a very excited expression.
"The way to fishman island is so romantic and beautiful."
Gluppy kinda understood and at the same time she didn't, for her those sights, while not very common, weren't exactly rare or hard to find… At least for her.
Ars just smiled gently and patted Kuina's head.
"We intend to go explore fishman island for a few more beautiful spots to see, do you want to come with us, or would you prefer to stay here and help your friends?"
While Gluppy saw this as an opportunity for a date between Ars and Kuina, Pecillia wanted to show them her home land, so she quickly appointed herself as their guide.
"I will go. I'm gonna show you all my favorite spots."
Gluppy gave Ars an apologetic smile, but he just smiled and dismissed her worries.
Gluppy suddenly appeared like she had remembered something and quickly explained what to Ars.
"Madam Shyarly requested to talk with you once you came back."
Ars nodded, and while Gluppy went to call her, he went to one of the mermaids and made her a request.
"Can you call the cook?"
She nodded, and quickly got the cook to come, when they arrived Ars looked at the cook, who was very nervous and gave her his forgiveness,
"I forgot to tell you last time, but you are forgiven for the garbage like food you served me before."
Ars then glanced at Gluppy and Kuina with Pecillia in her arms and Otojoō on the side smiling at them.
Otojoō was clearly feeling very relaxed and happy, but when she looked at Ars, and saw him looking at them, she commented with a light joke.
"Since 1 wheel is already going, let me go too and make it 2! I would like to go along to see how fishman island has changed since the last time I was here."
Ars smiled and nodded, while he would prefer a date with his lovely wife, a group tour wasn't so bad either.
Shyarly came out while they were talking with some of the locals who were enjoying their time in the café, for good spots to visit.
Shyarly quickly approached and was going to start informing Ars of something unexpected, but when she saw Otojoō, she froze, she looked exactly like their dead queen.
If Ars had looked around properly, he would have realized it wasn't just Shyarly who was shocked by Otojoō appearance, most of the merfolk and fishman around were still in shock, most of them were trying not to be rude, so they were trying not to stare.
They also saw her human legs so they identified her just as a very similar looking individual. Ars seeing Shyarly freeze started snapping his fingers in front of her until she jolted back from her shocked self.
"Your majesty Ars, the fishman island royal family would like to invite you to the Ryugu Palace. Can I inform them that you came back to the island and would like to meet them?"
Ars nodded and was going to answer, but before he could Kuina replied for him.
"Yeah, we accept the invitation, but can we bring a few people with us?"
Shyarly didn't know how to react, first she had answered for their king so she should have a high enough position, but she didn't know how high, and second she couldn't agree for the fishman royal family. So she could only explain.
"I will pass your request to the royal family but I can't promise you anything."
As they were walking out of the cafe to start their tour, Kuina and Ars noticed a flying weapon in the distance.
Kuina couldn't help but question what she was seeing.
"Why is there a flying weapon coming from nowhere?"
It was Shyarly who explained with a sad expression.
"A few years ago, a creep sent a love letter to our princess, who at the time was just a 6 year old child, and was rejected since then, he has been throwing weapons with the intent of forcing her to either marry him or die…"
Both Kuina and Otojoō were furious at the man's actions. In their minds the same question appeared.
'What kind of creep targeted a 6 year old?'
Otojoō was furious and was going to request Ars help, but Kuina looked at Ars with a very excited expression, and commented.
"Can we delay our tour until the death of the creep?"
Ars shrugged and sighed, before replying.
"Sure… he isn't that far from here anyway…"
Otojoō got excited about the idea of getting the problem resolved as fast as possible, thinking he was just the next corner or something, but Kuina knew what Ars not far meant. It could mean from a few minutes for them, to a few hours. Kuina then thought about it, if Ars moved solo he would catch the perpetrator much faster.
"Okay go fetch him!"
Ars looked speechless at her, he sighed and left, delaying it would only cause more headaches for him. This wasn't a very important character in the story, so he hoped his actions did not cause heavy changes in the future.
It didn't take too long for Ars to come back, while dragging a fishman by one of his legs.
Kuina looked at him and complained.
"What took you so long?"
Ars didn't know how to respond to that. Did she not realize that he was outside the island?
On the other hand, Shyarly and Otojoō were elated with the idea of the creep being caught. Shyarly quickly rushed to call for the Princes along with the guards, and Otojoō just bowed her head thanking Ars.
Not long after, Shyarly arrived back with the princes and the guards behind her, they quickly confirmed the man was Vander Decken IX, and quickly chained him up. Ars knew the man probably was going to be executed. But before they left a giant shadow approached.
When Vander Decken woke up from his forced beauty sleep, he panicked when he felt that he was chained, but when he saw the shadow he started screaming.
"Wadatsumi save me!"
Wadatsumi tried but got intercepted by Ars. Who now had veins starting to pop on his head.
"My citizens… It doesn't bother me… The normal fishman citizens I don't mind… But a giant pirate delayed my date even further… I mind… And I can beat you up so bad that even your parents won't recognize you…"
Ars proceed to dish out a huge beating on the poor giant fishman.
Everyone couldn't help but feel sorry for the poor giant.
In the meantime the princes were looking at Otojoō completely frozen. She looked exactly like their mom, just a bit thinner and being a different race.
It took them almost an hour to calm down enough to become coherent again. Then prince Fukaboshi finally managed to talk with Ars.
"First i would like to thank you for saving some of our citizens, second i would like to invite you to the Ryugu Palace, and yes you can bring other people if you want, as long as you can guarantee they won't cause problems, and finally i would like to thank you for catching this man, he had been a source of suffering for our family. I would like to make a request… I understand that it isn't that polite of me but…Can you bring this lady with you?"
He pointed at Otojoō, and then explained a bit more.
"Our sister was very young when our mother passed away, and this lady here is very similar looking to our mother, and it may bring comfort to our sister, even if it is for a very short duration."
Kuina, before Ars could give any reply, accepted their request very happily.
"We will be going there now, right?"
Ars just nodded, and decided to forget the date.
At this point, the mermaids who were present had already become friends with Kuina, and had started to get an idea of how things worked with Ars.
Ars liked to pamper his queens, and in the duration Ars had left to catch Vander Decken, they talked with Kuina and discovered she was one of the queens.
She had even invited them to live on their island or just visit them if they ever wanted.
Kuina, had made Ars' stance towards all of his queens and vice versa, well known.
Ars would try to pamper them and would go along with their wishes most of the time, but if they noticed he had decided and it was final they would respect that, thanks to this synergy between them, their relationship was actually pretty good.
Otojoō was very excited, she was going to see her husband, and her children.
The princes started taking Ars and his company to the palace, where once more everyone froze when they saw Otojoō.
The princes took them to Shirahoshi's room, and when she saw Otojoō, she quickly grabbed her with both hands and brought Otojoō to her face and started crying non stop.
Otojoō simply hugged her face and kissed her forehead while patting her head and whispering to her, trying to calm her down.
Ars and everyone else left them alone and went to talk about nothing too important, but it was a good first introduction for everyone. And even the possibility of conducting business in the future.
