Chapter 384 - Chapter 384: Gaining a Son

Axis had successfully brought Khorne into another universe, directly into the Warp of this alternate reality.

"What the f*ck! You actually managed to bring me to this world," Khorne said with a look of excitement.

Although it was the Warp, a realm he was intimately familiar with, it felt completely alien. This was not his domain, and he could sense that another version of himself already existed here.

"Nothing is impossible. If something seems impossible, it only proves you are not yet strong enough. When you reach a certain level of power, there is nothing in this world you cannot accomplish," Axis said.

"Hahaha! Axis, you are right!" Khorne laughed loudly.

The feeling was perfect. They had truly left their own universe, left their own reality behind.

In this world, Khorne could clearly sense his counterpart sitting upon the Brass Throne.

The other four Chaos Gods could also clearly sense that a massive entity had squeezed into the Warp, an existence identical to the one currently occupying the Brass Throne.

However, just as Khorne began to feel triumphant, he suddenly felt his power draining away, as if his very body was beginning to dissipate.

It was as if the rules of this universe and this Warp did not allow him to exist here. having forcibly entered this world, the fundamental laws were attempting to erase him, or perhaps assimilate his energy into the other existing entity.

"Axis, I feel a force trying to erase me! This Warp cannot accommodate me because there is already a 'me' here. Think of something, or send me back!" Khorne rasped.

He was even a little terrified at that moment. He feared being utterly annihilated by some invisible force. To die here, in such an inexplicable manner, would be ridiculous.

"Rest assured, I anticipated all of this. Do not panic. This time, I intend to thoroughly shatter these so-called rules," Axis said as he moved in front of Khorne.

Axis enveloped the massive entity's form with his own Divine Power, temporarily stabilizing Khorne's condition. Then, using his God Ki as an anchor, he transported Khorne into the Webway of this universe.

Axis had not been idle during the past year. To verify his theories, he had specifically selected a very unique planet within the Webway. He had also transported a massive quantity of soil from the life planets within Isha's domain from his own universe and buried it here.

"Axis, what do you plan to do?" Khorne asked.

"I am going to create a body for you. All you need to do is inject your soul into it. Fundamentally, you are a Warp lifeform, and I have now helped you detach from the space of the other universe. As long as you acquire a physical vessel, you will become a complete living being, capable of existing anywhere," Axis explained.

Having said this, Axis produced a seed for a First-Generation Saibaman. After planting the seed, he irrigated it with a large amount of extract from the Fruit of the Tree of Might to provide nutrition, and then used his own God Ki as a catalyst.

He successfully catalyzed the Saibaman seed.

As the Saibaman began to incubate, Khorne followed Axis's instructions and injected his soul into the developing form, officially becoming the master of this new body.

Throughout the process, Axis used his Ki to continuously reinforce the body. To ensure the soul and flesh merged perfectly, Axis constantly pumped his God Ki into the vessel to strengthen it.

Khorne was extremely cooperative. He began to pour his own Chaos Divine Power into the vessel to provide a steady stream of energy. Since he was going to use this body, he had to make sure it adapted to his Chaos energy first. Between Axis's Divine Power and Khorne's Chaos Divine Power, the physical body underwent massive enhancement.

The Saibaman's body began to mutate. Its height exploded from the original two meters to three, four, five, six, and then seven meters.

Axis continued to pour in the juice of the Second-Generation Fruit of the Tree of Might, providing the nutrients necessary for this rapid growth.

Finally, the body was reinforced to its absolute limit. It stood about seventeen meters tall. The exterior form was that of a demon, with three demonic horns upon its head that resembled a crown, burning with raging flames.

On its back sat a pair of broad demonic wings that spanned a full twenty-five meters when spread.

"This body is very powerful, unprecedentedly so, but it still cannot fully contain my power," Khorne said.

This vessel was the most perfect physical body he had ever seen. Although it was still inferior to Axis, it surpassed almost every race in the universe, exceeding even the body Axis had previously crafted for the Goddess of Life.

However, even so, it could not completely house the power of a Chaos God. There was no helping it; Chaos Gods were simply that powerful.

And this was considering he had left his domain and the Warp of his origin, meaning the Warp was no longer constantly replenishing his power.

"Do not be impatient. I am skilled in a specific sealing technique. I can seal ninety percent of your soul and energy, leaving you with only ten percent active. That will be enough to control this body. Later, when the Divine Fruit matures and you consume it, it will reinforce your body and soul, allowing you to truly become one with this vessel and reach a state of perfection," Axis stated.

Previously, to imprison the Necrons Collector Axis had developed a technique. With slight modifications, this ability could seal away the power of a Chaos God. Naturally, this seal was highly unstable.

A Chaos God could rely on their own Chaos Divine Power to forcibly break the seal at any time. However, Axis only needed the sealing effect to store the power so it would not leak out.

As long as Khorne did not act recklessly or break the seal himself, it would perfectly store the Chaos God's power within this shell.

"Very well, Axis, I accept this body." Khorne nodded at Axis and entered the shell without hesitation.

He began to fuse with the demonic body created by their combined divine powers. Meanwhile, Axis mobilized his Divine Power and unleashed the sealing technique.

The potent God Ki compressed the Chaos Divine Power and sealed it within the core, leaving only ten percent of the divine power on the outside. The remaining ninety percent remained effectively sealed.

Once this was done, Khorne finally mastered the body completely, gaining a true physical vessel that could walk within the material universe.

"Hahaha! Thank you so much, Axis. This is what I have dreamed of. Although I can only exert ten percent of my power, I am invincible within the material universe," Khorne said, visibly excited as he felt the explosive power coursing through his body.

"You are welcome. Feel it carefully; you should now be able to use the power of Ki as well," Axis said.

The body created for Khorne was made from a First-Generation Saibaman. Why not the Second Generation? Because the Second Generation Saibamen absolutely could not withstand the power of a Chaos God. Furthermore, Axis had other significant plans and required Khorne's power to complete his scheme.

Khorne's massive demonic head shook slightly. He then opened his hands, and a strange, ominous, blood-red energy gathered in his palms. This was not Warp energy, but Ki.

Unlike Axis's God Ki or Isha's Ki, this was an extremely evil Ki energy, filled with destruction and chaotic power.

"Just as I suspected. Your Ki is exactly like your true self, an evil existence," Axis remarked.

"You are right, Father... I feel the same way. Wait!!!…. why did I just call you Father?" Khorne realized what he had said instantly and looked at Axis with a face full of shock.

"Oh! You mean that? Using a Saibaman body comes with a tiny price, but I figured it was a price you could afford. You will establish a certain connection with me. Since it was my Ki that granted you life and gave you the authority to use Ki in this body, you will instinctively view me as a father," Axis explained.

Partnerships were always a bit risky. Having Khorne as a son was much safer. This was the only way Axis could be completely at ease regarding Khorne.

"..." Khorne fell silent.

Although he was happy to have obtained a real body, inexplicably gaining a father made him very unhappy.

Yet, strangely, he found he could not bring himself to hate this "father."

He could feel the connection between himself and Axis. This bond felt even tighter than his connection to the Warp.

"Tch! So then, Father, what is your purpose in doing all this?"

"Very simple. I need to improve. I need an opponent of equal strength to fight, and in this universe, there are few left who can satisfy me. But you can," Axis said.

"That is not a problem. I also love to fight. Besides, this body has great potential for development; Ki energy can continuously strengthen the physique," Khorne replied.

Fighting was his favorite pastime, and this father of his also loved to fight, so their temperaments were actually quite compatible.

Being a son didn't seem like a big deal, though it would be better if the roles were reversed, if he were the dad and Axis was the son!

Perhaps he would discuss this with Axis someday. Since they were establishing a close familial bond anyway, why not switch so he could be the father?

"As for the second objective, that is even simpler. I am tired of playing house in this world. I am going to snatch away this universe's Goddess of Life and, incidentally, retrieve my son. You will have to help me with this," Axis stated.

With Khorne's help, the tasks that followed would be far easier to handle.
