It looked like the aftermath of a universe trying to tear itself apart and then forgetting how to stop.

Chunks of land floated without gravity. Pieces of sky drifted like broken glass. Light bled into darkness and darkness bled back, neither one winning, neither one giving up. Every clash between the Beasts and the summoned heroes sent another crack running through reality like a fault line.

But slowly—almost quietly—something changed.

The chaos started to organize itself.

Not peace.

Not safety.

Resistance.

Merlin and Fou

A garden bloomed in the middle of nowhere.

Flowers grew out of empty air. Vines curled around nothing and somehow held shape. The scent of spring drifted across a battlefield that had forgotten what seasons were supposed to feel like.

Merlin stood there like he always did—smiling, relaxed, staff resting against his shoulder.

Across from him was a small white creature with red eyes.

Fou.

Only… not really Fou. Black veins crawled through his fur, pulsing like something alive underneath. His tiny body carried pressure that could flatten mountains.

Merlin's smile thinned.

"You've gotten bigger problems than stealing snacks now, huh?"

Fou screeched. The sound alone shattered half the garden like glass. In the next instant he was already mid-air, claws tearing through layers of space like paper.

Merlin lifted his staff lazily.

Mirrors appeared—hundreds of them—stacked dimensions reflecting Fou's strike over and over until the force finally slowed. Even then the impact still shook the field.

"You're being pushed," Merlin said softly. "You don't even like being angry."

He tapped the ground.

The garden expanded. One field became ten. Ten became a hundred. Endless skies, oceans of flowers, memories layered on memories. Fou dashed through them violently, ripping illusions apart, but every destroyed image just birthed another behind it.

Merlin wasn't trying to win.

He was buying time… and maybe, just maybe, reaching whatever piece of Fou was still himself.

For a moment, the illusions changed. A quiet hallway. Laughter. Warm light through windows.

Fou froze.

Just a second.

Then the corruption surged again, erasing the scene in a burst of darkness. Merlin exhaled slowly, sadness flickering behind his eyes.

"Yeah… I figured it wouldn't be that easy."

The garden shifted into a sky full of stars, swallowing Fou in endless distance.

Kiara's Front — Blades and Gunfire

Far from the garden, the air burned purple.

Kiara floated above shattered land, smiling like this was all just mild entertainment. Wherever her presence reached, the ground twisted into blooming lotus shapes made of dark flesh and light. Beautiful. Sickening.

The air split open.

Musashi stepped through first, both swords already drawn. She rolled her shoulders like she'd just arrived at a sparring match instead of the end of existence.

"Alright," she muttered. "Let's see what you've got."

Okita appeared beside her, quiet as snowfall. One hand on her katana, breathing steady. Her eyes didn't waver.

A gunshot echoed.

Nobunaga landed on a floating slab of stone, rifle spinning once before resting on her shoulder. "Demon nun, cosmic battlefield… yeah, sounds about right."

Kiara laughed, and the sound itself pressed against their minds like a hand trying to push them down.

Musashi moved first. Her blades crossed, and the swing cut more than distance—it cut intention. Kiara's aura split for half a second.

Okita dashed in that opening, her strike so fast it looked delayed, like reality needed a second to catch up.

Nobunaga fired. The bullet wasn't just metal—it carried the concept of rebellion, of gods falling from thrones. Kiara's barrier cracked.

Her smile twitched.

Dark tendrils lashed out. Musashi spun through them, slicing mid-motion. Okita slipped between gaps that barely existed. Nobunaga kept firing, each shot echoing like history refusing to be erased.

The sky filled with sparks, petals, and blade trails—violent, beautiful chaos.

Tesla's Storm

Clouds formed where there was no sky left to hold them.

Tesla raised a hand and lightning answered like it had been waiting. Bolts fell in straight, clean lines, turning corrupted creatures into silhouettes before they even hit the ground.

Around him, constructs of pure energy formed—wheels, coils, impossible machines humming with power. They didn't belong to any era, but they worked anyway.

"Progress," Tesla said calmly, "does not kneel."

Another bolt split the field. Then another. Precise. Ruthless. Efficient.

Against humanity's sins… humanity's brilliance fired back.

The Center — Xyrrath

At the core of the battlefield stood Xyrrath.

He didn't have one shape anymore. He was a mass of shifting limbs, eyes, and fractures in space itself. Looking at him too long made the mind slip. Every movement warped gravity like it was an afterthought.

In front of him stood the Grand Servants.

Solomon at the lead, rings orbiting his fingers like miniature suns. His face was calm, but his eyes carried the weight of someone who already understood the cost.

"He isn't just a Beast," Solomon said quietly. "He's something that eats the rules Beasts are born from."

The others prepared without wasting words.

Above them, the Light Being shone brighter, pouring energy into their forms.

Behind them, Tiamat rose again, blood still trailing from her wounds, wings spreading wide despite the damage.

Xyrrath laughed. The sound bent the horizon.

Solomon lifted his hand.

Pillars of golden light erupted around Xyrrath—dozens, then hundreds—locking onto his existence like nails pinning a shadow in place.

The Grand Servants moved as one.

A spear tore through warped dimensions. A blade forced causality to stutter. Chains of law wrapped around regenerating flesh, slowing the endless corruption.

Tiamat unleashed a wave of primordial power, raw and ancient, forcing Xyrrath back a single step.

One step… but it mattered.

The Light Being descended beside Solomon. His rings ignited brighter.

"Now," she whispered.

Solomon's voice carried across the broken sky.

"Judgment."

A massive circle of light unfolded beneath Xyrrath, stretching farther than sight. Symbols ignited one by one, older than language, older than gods.

Xyrrath pushed back. Void against divinity. Corruption against order. The collision erased entire chunks of the battlefield like they had never existed.

But they held.

Because everywhere else—Merlin holding Fou in a sky of stars, Musashi's blades flashing, Tesla's lightning splitting darkness—the same thing was happening.

They weren't trying to overpower him.

They were refusing to fall.

Xyrrath roared, a sound that cracked the edges of reality.

And for the first time since this war began—

He was the one being pushed.
