After deflecting Arlong's attack, and before the Fish-Man could react, Wolf immediately grabbed him with a reverse grip, moving at a speed that even many Fish-Men Karate users couldn't track, and captured Arlong in his palm.
"You bastard! Let go of me!"
Arlong struggled relentlessly, but in Wolf's hand, he was no bigger than a caterpillar.
"Ah!"
Nami, inside the castle, covered her small mouth with both hands, astonished, as Wolf opened his mouth and tossed Arlong inside. Immediately after, she saw the gigantic monster chewing repeatedly, with blood seemingly splattering near the corner of his mouth.
It's... Arlong's blood!
"Gwaurh!"
Though she had cursed Arlong to die more than a hundred times in her heart, seeing the scene unfold like this still made Nami cover her mouth and nose, turn her head away in disgust, and throw up.
"Arlong!!"
"Boss Arlong!"
The remaining Fish-Men wept inconsolably. At least when it came to his own kind, Arlong was beyond reproach.
"What's the rush? You'll be joining him soon enough."
The Immortal Pirates rushed toward the Arlong Pirates. The disparity in strength, coupled with the plummeting morale of the Arlong Pirates, instantly led to a one-sided slaughter. In less than three minutes, the Arlong Pirates were completely wiped out.
After killing all the Fish-Men, Matthew's expression froze. He rubbed his head and said, "Huh, wait a minute... We killed them all. How are we supposed to ask where the money is?"
After scratching his head vigorously a couple of times, Matthew threw caution to the wind. "Forget it. It's definitely around here somewhere. Search everywhere! Find the money!"
Alucard sat in Arlong's former seat. The others had already begun searching for the location of the treasure, taking whatever was useful and discarding the rest.
"This is bad, this is bad!"
Nami, recovering from her nausea, looked down and saw that the pirates had already reached the castle's upper floors. If this continued, she would definitely be caught.
Although the newcomers had killed Arlong, the person she had always wanted to kill, Nami did not believe they were good people. They were merely evil fighting evil, a dog-eat-dog scenario.
Glancing around the room, Nami grit her teeth and hid inside the wardrobe. Her floor was the fifth, so jumping down was impossible, especially since the ground floor was already full of those Fish-Men-killing pirates.
In less than two minutes, the door to Nami's room was kicked open. The rough men paid no attention to the maps on the desk. They yanked open the drawers and smashed any trinkets that might contain valuables.
"Found anything?"
"Nope."
"So, no money in this room?"
Nami, hidden inside the wardrobe, trembled, terrified that the Pirates would discover her. "Then move on to the next room."
The moment she heard that, a flicker of relief crossed Nami's face in the wardrobe. The next sentence, however, plunged her into hell.
A pirate's voice entered her ears. "There's a wardrobe, though. Check it!"
In less than five seconds, the wardrobe was violently ripped open. The Immortal Pirates crew members saw the trembling Nami inside, and a flicker of surprise crossed their faces. "A human kid?"
The other Pirates nearby heard the two words and walked up, curious. Tears began to well up in Nami's eyes.
"Drag her out. Maybe she knows something."
"Got it."
One Pirate held a gun in one hand and roughly grabbed Nami's arm with the other, pulling her out. "Hey, kid! Where's the treasure? Speak up, and we won't kill you."
In this moment of crisis, Nami's eyes darted around. She stuttered, "I-it's somewhere downstairs. I-I'll take you there. Don't kill me."
Seeing that she was just a child of about ten, the few men didn't suspect anything, but they kept a tight hold on Nami and started walking downstairs.
"Mortak, what's with that kid?" Others who were searching downstairs saw Nami and asked curiously as the group descended.
"Oh, just a kid hiding in the wardrobe. Says she knows where the treasure is hidden," Mortak replied.
The instant they stepped off the stairs from the second floor, Nami suddenly twisted around and bit Mortak's hand with all her strength.
Wincing in pain, Mortak frowned and loosened his grip. Nami seized the chance and instantly
leaped from the second floor down to Arlong Park's main plaza. She made a face at the enraged Mortak and his crew above and bolted toward the front gate.
Bang!
Just then, Nami suddenly felt a chill run down her spine. Her body, which should have been accelerating to escape, stopped instantly. It felt as though an invisible large hand had gripped her body, rendering her immobile.
Nami swallowed hard and looked behind her. In Arlong's former position sat the leader of these pirates, the man in the red coat with black hair.
Alucard said nothing, simply staring at Nami. He didn't even release a shred of killing intent or Conqueror's Haki.
But even that was enough to paralyze Nami with fear. THUD!
Suddenly, Mortak and the others from the second floor were kicked down and crashed behind Nami. Matthew also jumped down from above, stating coldly to the men, "Five pirates with bounties in the tens of millions, tricked by a small child of a few years old! You've disgraced the entire pirate crew!"
Mortak, who was slammed onto the ground, didn't even have time to cry out in pain. He immediately got up and groveled. "Apologies, apologies, apologies!"
While apologizing, the men resentfully glared at Nami. If it weren't for this brat, would they be in this situation?
"Utterly shameful!" Matthew delivered a few heavy kicks to Mortak and the others, then walked over to Nami. He grabbed her small undershirt, lifted her like a rabbit, and tossed her in front of Alucard. "Captain, what should we do with this little girl?"
"P-please spare me."
Nami stammered, then forced herself to imitate her adoptive mother's signature move, throwing a severely strained, flirtatious look at Alucard.
"I... I can pay you with my body, you know~~"
"..." Alucard.
"..." Wolf.
"..." The Immortal Pirates collective.
This must be what they call second-hand embarrassment.
