Chapter 66 - C66: Advanced Observation Haki

Advanced Observation Haki!

Yahn immediately understood what went wrong—this World Government spy possessed high-level Observation Haki.

Ever since Robin had taken refuge in the castle, Yahn had found an opportunity to thoroughly examine both her body and her ability, "Brujería (Sangha of the Bewitching Eyes)."

Observation Haki could indeed sense the attack of Brujería.

The problem was, once Robin activated the technique, it locked onto the target through eye contact. The reaction window was absurdly short.

For most users of Observation Haki, even if they felt the incoming danger, they would not have time to dodge.

But Advanced Observation Haki was different—it evolved differently depending on each person's traits.

For example: Gol D. Roger's ability to hear the Voice of All Things; Enel's Mantra, a vast network of heartbeats fused with the Goro Goro no Mi/Rumble-Rumble Fruit; Katakuri's terrifying foresight into the future.

Even Yahn's own wide-range perception, born from the sheer strength of his soul, could barely be considered a variant—but in his own eyes, it still fell short of the true advanced level.

Just now, when Robin unleashed Brujería: Amor, that spy in the white suit reacted instantly—dodging before it could even take effect.

A spy with Observation Haki of this level… CP0.

The World Nobles' personal intelligence agency. A group of monsters in human skin.

"As expected… this won't be simple," Yahn thought grimly, his mind racing.

At the same time, relief washed over him. If he had tried to use Little Gold to directly extract the citizens of Flevance, with a CP0 agent already embedded here, everything would have been lost.

For a fleeting moment, Yahn even considered retreat.

To fake the extermination of Flevance's people while secretly saving them was already difficult. With a CP0 operative present—one who could evade Robin's Brujería: Amor—it was next to impossible.

Meanwhile, the desperate citizens of Flevance were already marching toward the border with guns in hand. The moment shots were fired, the three neighboring nations would unleash their armies, and the massacre would begin.

Time was short. The situation dire. Hope, nearly gone.

Robin, after several failed attempts to bind the spy, finally turned to the one person she trusted most.

"Yahn… what do we do? I can't lock him down."

Yahn drew in a slow breath, forcing calm into his voice.

"It's fine. That man is still far beyond what you can handle."

Robin, burning with the desperate wish to save Flevance from an Ohara-like tragedy, whispered in despair.

"But if this continues… we won't be able to save the people."

Yahn reached out and gently patted her head.

"Robin, I'll draw him away. You cooperate with the Revolutionaries and carry out the plan."

"No!" Robin's protest was instant.

"Yahn, it's too dangerous. You—"

"Don't underestimate me," Yahn interrupted with a wry grin. "And remember, saving Flevance isn't just your dream, or mine. It's the will of the Revolutionaries as well. Someone has to stall a man like that."

On his face, Yahn wore a carefree smile. Inwardly, he wanted nothing more than to grab Dragon and grind his face into the dirt.

Where's my backup? Where's my high-level support?

When the rescue plan had been confirmed, Yahn had insisted that Dragon send reinforcements immediately. And yet here he was—planner, executor, and sacrificial pawn all rolled into one.

For a man who loved peace, disliked combat, and valued keeping a low profile, Ian was more than reluctant.

But reality left no choice. He could only grit his teeth and shoulder the burden.

Knowing how little time they had left, Yahn no longer cared about appearances. Right in front of Robin, he pulled out a change of clothes from Backup Plan F and began to don his disguise.

…

Meanwhile, the white-suited spy darted rapidly between shadows, weaving from corner to corner until the suffocating sense of danger finally faded.

"What's going on?!"

Barak spread out his Observation Haki, eyes scanning the surroundings. Yet he found nothing.

Still, the raw killing intent he had sensed through his haki could not be dismissed as illusion.

Then, something else caught his attention.

Despite his exaggerated evasions, the lower-ranked agents around him hadn't moved an inch. They stood frozen like statues.

"…So there really is something wrong."

Barak's vigilance rose sharply. He didn't act recklessly but carefully watched the strange state of his subordinates.

Even in the dim light of night, he soon noticed it—their foreheads all bore the same eerie black markings.

"What is that…?" he muttered.

And in that instant—

A blur shot from a blind spot, slicing toward him.

Bang!

Two pale figures crossed paths beneath the moonlight. Barak smashed through the ceiling and vaulted onto the rooftop, glaring at the one who now stood across from him.

The figure wore half a mask, traditional Flevance garb, and on his exposed skin blotches of white—the unmistakable symptoms of Amber Lead Syndrome.

Before Barak could speak, Yahn roared.

"So it's true. Someone is pulling the strings, destroying my country from the shadows!"

He took a step forward, voice like a blade.

"And those 'Amber Lead' symptoms on your skin—they're fake. You're no citizen of Flevance. Speak! Who are you, and why are you driving my people into revolt?"

Flevance…?

Barak's mind leapt to a conclusion. His instincts told him Yahn was one of them.

"Generations poisoned by Amber Lead… and yet you're this strong?" he muttered, puzzled.

Then his expression hardened.

"Doesn't matter who you are. I can't let you walk away alive."

In a flash, Barak lunged forward, his long frame covering ten meters in an instant. His fist drove straight toward Yahn's skull.
