The meal didn't last more than thirty minutes. He ate till his full, but at the time of payment, it became a problem because Galard had warned him about it before they went in.
He tried bargaining the mirror with them, but they didn't accept. They wanted cash, not a bargain.
"I did warn you about this before going in. If only you had told me earlier, maybe I would have helped you now. But right now, I can't. You have to figure this out on your own." Galard said to Ralph.
'What have I gotten myself into again..' he sighed. Dropping his face on the table with a loud thud. They refused to collect any other form of payment, even summoned guards to arrest him for theft if night fell, and he didn't provide anything valuable: like cash only.
