Elena smiled and remained silent before picking up the liquor that was placed in the thick glass. The light shone through the glass and the orange liquid reflected a gem-like clarity and glow. Brandy was a renowned type of liquor that had a unique, exquisite and fragrant taste that was to the liking of numerous avid people.
Brianna frowned slightly and stared as Elena held the glass of liquor up in her hands. At this moment, she felt like Elena was mysterious and unpredictable.
Elena looked at Brianna's face which was blurred by the layer of glass. "Brianna, what's your purpose for treating me to drinks? Just get straight to the point! Your attitude is making me feel like you're trying to bury the hatchet with me over a glass of liquor."
Brianna was just thinking about how she should answer.
To her surprise, Elena slammed the glass down on the table with a loud and crisp sound which broke the atmosphere between them. She continued, "However, that'd be impossible."
