Dai walked through the school halls telling her Bestfriends Cleo and Illa about her mate ''wow! Diamond you are so lucky! he's got the wealth, power and status'' Cleo said looking all starry eyed ''you fool! did you forget that Dai's family and Dazzy's family have a long-lasting generation conflict?!'' Illa scolded Cleo harshly not mincing any words '' It's okay, you guys should stop arguing. I've already told you my family has agreed, so all I have to do Is talk to him'' Dai said acting as a mediator as she silently searched the halls for her mate leaving her friends to go to their class ahead but as Dai turned the corner she bumped into a sturdy yet soft chest ''hey!'' the boy said his voice carrying a hint of impatience, Dai apologized repeatedly but when she looked up she saw ''Kingston??'' Dai called out surprised ''Oh Dai hi, why are you in such a hurry that you didn't even watch were you werre going ? what if you got hurt?'' Kingston asked his words carrying a warmth that made Dai uncomfortable as he held Dai shoulder to keep her in place ''uhm.... I was actually looking for your brother'' Dai said deciding that It was better to tell Kingston the truth as he could help make her search easier but Dai didn't know that Kingston whole person became extremely sour when he heard her say that as his mind couldn't help but wander to the day Dazzy confessed that he'd found his mate and that It was Dai, Kingston felt anger and hate for his half brother when he learnt that Dai his longtime hidden love interest was mated to him, an illegitimate child, Kingston felt that Dazzy wasn't worth Dai but they was nothing he could do.... for now at least. ''Oh! but why though?'' Kingston asked trying to sound as nonchalant as he can luckily for him Dai didn't notice instead she answered vaguely as she felt he shouldn't know too much ''uhm..... I have something to discuss with him'' Dai said with pursed lips and was about to leave when she noticed his hand was still holding firmly to her shoulders ''can you let me go, thanks for catching me'' Dai said trying her best not to sound too awkward but before Kingston could say anything he was pulled back by a strong force, a barely noticeable smirk played on his lips but It left as fast as It came, so nobody really noticed It. Kingston stumbled a few times before his back roughly hit the wall not far from him, he couldn't help but groan as he felt a little pain from the impact. Dai was shocked to see this scene again but before she could go to Kingston's side, Dazzy's face magnified in front of her face ''come with me.. I need to talk to you'' with that he did a thing they called 'air teleportation' which is simply using the air to push yourself so fast that it breaks through the world's barrier making you go anywhere you will in your mind but this move was a power only powerful fairies could control and use as it had major consequences if you do not do it right, consequences Dai was to afraid to even think about. "what the f**k Dazzy!! that could have gone wrong" Dai said her voice a mix of fear and worry but Dazzy cut her off saying "don't worry, It couldn't have gone wrong... I am a pure fairy" oh yes how could she forget that he was stronger than most fairies as pure blooded fairies are super rare not just because their fated partners are not fairies but because even If a fairy takes another fairy as their chosen partners the chances of being able to conceive is little to none. so few are willing to take that risk. pure blooded creatures of any species were far superior to normal species(turned creatures) or hybrids but unfortunately pure blooded creatures were rare not just because of the low chance of conceiving but because in some clans they were a taboo. so they are often killed at birth.
Dai a pure blooded wolf was also naturally hunted down by 'Hunters'(A group of strong hybrids that saw the pure bloods as an abnormality) the irony, there was no peace in the supernatural world that's why Dai admired humans a little but she had never seen them as that part of the world was forbidden. If trespassed the creature will naturally become a rogue. Anyways Dai was lucky to be born into a strong and powerful family, so she had always been protected by her family and pack from hunters but not every pure blood is as lucky as her.....but the elders (a gathering of different creatures that are direct disciples of the moon goddess) said that during a prayer to the Goddess she revealed that pure bloods from strong families should run for the overall ruler of CALLISTO(the name of their world of supernaturals).
"uhm... can you remove your hands now" Dai said as his touch was affecting her in ways she was to embarrassed to say "yeah sure" Dazzy said his voice sounding a little depressed as withdrew his hand slowly. Immediately he let go Dai felt like a part of her was missing and seeing him look down It made her sad "I want to.... uhm I" Dazzy stuttered for the first time in his life, Dai then took his hand bravely and encouraged him "Go on" she said flashing an earth shattering smile that she would soon lose....(but that's a story for later;]) Dazzy took a deep breath and asked bravely "Dai will... will you be my girlfriend..... please" he said the last part so low that if not for her supernatural hearing she may not have heard it. Dai's wolf Jade was having a party in Dai's head, 'say yes! say yes!' she kept echoing 'of course it's a yes Jade.. he's our mate' Dai replied her overexcited wolf as her eyes held a great sparkle and warmth towards Dazzy as she said "yes I will, MATE" she said emphasizing the word mate "you knew all along didn't you ?!" he suddenly asked his expression morphing into one of hurt "yes, since that day at the cafeteria" Dai admitted honestly as she did not want to lie to her mate "and I felt so bad when I found out that night at the lake, I was so happy as I had finally found a reason for the insane attraction I had towards you *heh* I was happy planning to tell you the next time but I guess you didn't feel the same way. The next day you even pushed me away telling me that you dispised me" he said letting out a hurt whimper as he continued saying "I felt so f**king BAD!!! thinking I'd upset you In someway, I thought you did not know hence your harsh words but how foolish I was" he said chuckling dryly and I couldn't bare it anymore "I'm sorry, I thought you knew and was purposely ignoring our mate bond because of your family and your status.... so I.... I was temporarily angry and I" Dai said trying to explain as tears fell from her eyes unconsciously but before she could explain more she felt something soft on her lips and her eyes widened when she noticed he was kissing her, her body instinctively gave into his demand. she parted her lips slightly Dazzy took the opportunity to deepen the kiss and when he heard the soft sound she made he mind became a mess and he just couldn't get enough but then the sounds of footsteps could be heard that's when Dai mind came back to her, she immediately pushed him away and ran towards the school building her face as red as a tomatoe 'that was our first kiss' Dai said to her wolf as they ran. Dazzy regretted teleporting the to the back of the bleachers wishing he chose a more secluded spot but his hand touched his lips he couldn't help but grin foolishly ''That was wonderful'' Dazzy said to his fairy 'yeah, and I like the sound of her as our girlfriend' his fairy said also smiling foolishly in Dazzy's head.
