Outside Long Peak Valley.
A rainbow light sped swiftly from afar. As the light faded, it landed atop Qianchang Mountain's peak. The newcomer glanced around, just as a flickering shadow from a mountain cave halfway up appeared and settled on the summit.
The two were the Fifth and Seventh Elders of the Celestial Yin Tribe.
The Fifth Elder noticed the Seventh Elder had come alone, and frowned slightly:
"Old Seventh, is the Chieftain still in seclusion?"
"Yes, the Chieftain has stated that unless it's a matter of life and death, he should not be disturbed, Fifth Brother, is there anything unusual ahead in Long Peak Valley?"
The Fifth Elder shook his head.
A hint of doubt lingered in his heart:
"Since Patriarch Fu entered Long Peak Valley, he's vanished without a trace; I don't know if he slipped underground or quietly left. Since the Chieftain isn't coming, Old Seventh, you can accompany me to check out the situation."
With that.
