Topaz says "well you have a dragon core of a sapphire dragon. and the changes you are experiencing sounds like the changes of a youngling but I would have to take some test to see like I will need some of your blood and one of your scales and to see if you molt after a year also, I will need other fluid samples and I have some fun ideas on how to get them. Orion looks at her and says "really, I thank you that you are trying to make me relax but for the world it's been three thousand years but for me its less than a month. So, do you know what I should expect"? Topaz replies "well I would like to see how far you can transform, look at your wings and see if you can actually fly, and see how well you can control your form as a dragon and as a man. Since you are a topaz dragon you have a human form and a dragon form that's something else, I need to see how big is your dragon form because it was an elder Saphire dragon you could be the size of an elder dragon, or you could be the size of a youngling. Either way you will have a long lifespan. They went to a clearing alone and he transformed to a scaled human with wings, topaz measured his wings and says this is a dragon warriors form but you should be able to take full dragon form". Orion takes a deep breath and meditates on being a full dragon and boom he transforms to the size of a full-grown dragon. Orion checks himself out and ask "so I think I am an adult dragons' size" he stretches his wings jumps in the air and starts flapping them getting air under his wings and flying up in the air as he sings a song of concealment. He flies like he was born to it some of the dragon cores memories flood him about how to fly. Muscle memory must be stored in the core. He started trying all sorts of maneuvers in the air that he remembered when riding his wife as she flew them places in the air. He found he now understood why she loved flying when you are in control its amazing it was an adrenalin rush. It was something he would never believe he would fall in love with and yet here he was he finally landed and topaz asked "how was your first flight? You fell in love in the air with being free didn't you I can see it on your face". Orion smiles and says "yes, I did and I didn't expect to. The rush and how fun it is. I just can't explain it, now I understand why she was so in love with flying everywhere. It's just amazing". Topaz Laughs "I should have joined you then maybe you would fall in love with me I am a saphire dragon too you know"! Orion laughs "are you really that hard up to find a mate"? Topaz says "you know that the shadows have purged the dragons and I now have two choices mate with you and gain another full-blooded Saphire dragon or mate with well a color dragon or if I am lucky enough, I will get a metal dragon. You see in all reality you are my best choice and I find you very attractive and well I am sure we could have a lot of fun". Orion replies the only way I am willing to even think of this is if I train you and you become a sword mage that can fight 10 enemies at once. I can't have another love die while I am away thinking this world is nothing to a dragon, as you can see the shadows targeted the dragons first. Truth be told I want every dragon to train so we can keep them all alive. What do you think can you get other dragons to come and learn to be sword mages? Tell them it will give them a chance to fight and win against the shadows and I am willing to go to a designated dragons lair that has the space to train you all in, and I am willing to go their alone if I need to. If they all agree we can keep the dragons alive for all eternity. They are why we have magic flowing through this world. Would you prefer we ask the were-rats to go and ask them". Either way it will give the not so proud ones to have a fighting chance and if we give them swords and they can kill shadows in human form as well as dragon form it will be good". Topaz looks at him and says "I understand why you would feel that way and it would give you a chance to learn more about fighting in your dragooned form. I take it not everyone knows you are a dragon huh. I am willing to learn to be a sword mage if you are willing to explore your dragon side as well. Besides when you face the king you will need every extra bit of power you got so you can actually kill him off, we can't have this happen again". Orion says "you have a good point I will need to learn to fight in my dragooned form to make everything work. I will need to be comfortable fighting that way and learn how to dodge in the air as well as on the ground. I also need to be used to using my fire when battling and how to keep my mind and not go all dragon on them. I have a lot to learn as well". Topaz Replies "you said it not me. So, I will ask rufus to send a message for us and the training lair can be mine. I am sure they will feel safer that way.
