Kitty is preparing now; the new book will be released next month.
Scattering flowers to celebrate the completion~!
As for the afterword~!
Regarding updates, aside from slacking off quite a bit in the final month, I've been pretty diligent the rest of the time.
The ending feels a bit rushed, and Kitty here apologizes—voluntarily washing myself clean and jumping into the pot...
Well, that's the issue with exposure-style stories; the further you write, the more the plot tends to feel repetitive, making it hard to keep readers excited.
That's why many books of this type don't reach a million words, often getting abandoned after a few hundred thousand.
Even a newbie author like Kitty finds it increasingly challenging to write later on, unable to maintain the explosive update pace of the beginning.
In the early stages, the story followed a FATE + FGO framework, providing a clear main storyline.
But with the lostbelts, a problem arose: many readers weren't very interested in them or hadn't experienced that part of the game.
So Kitty originally planned to skip the lostbelts and end the story directly at the Temple of Time.
However, since so few authors write about lostbelts and readers wanted to see it, Kitty gave it a shot.
Throughout the book, Kitty crafted a heroic protagonist who silently walks through human history, forming bonds with various heroic spirits and sacrificing himself to protect humanity.
This is what Kitty is most satisfied with—I've long wanted to write such a pure heroic protagonist, fulfilling my own chuunibyou fantasies.
As for the new book's release, the earliest will be next week, but it'll definitely be out in June, likely under the main pen name "Tianxin Cat."
Thank you to all the readers who supported this story until the end. I hope we can journey together again in the next one.
Mwah, love you!
