Sairao observed what, for him, was one of the two children who had helped disrupt his plan to create a perfect body to descend into the human world. Because of those two and that cursed statue that wounded him deeply, even if he managed to obtain a body he would still feel that pain for a long time.
'At least until I reach Circle Ten.'
"It's been a while. You're that god who was marked by Lord Val'Drakar, right?"
Seeing that audacity, Valdir beside the boy began to smile in front of them. Behind him Volhit and Sylwen were startled to see that the two knew each other, Kai himself was also the same way. Seeing Enrico make a signal with his hand Kai activated his magic and attacked one of the two opponents with his Circle Seven speed.
'Without a doubt he wants to take advantage of this to go after Elaris.'
The signal from his companion in that battle had been directed toward the elven knight, that's why he thought that way and attacked immediately. He would take that elf far from the battle happening in that castle.
Defending Kai's attack, Volhit was surprised when a shell armor covered his opponent's body and his speed increased. The momentum was so strong that the two passed through the window and flew far from the castle onto the wall that had been raised by a Circle Eight with earth magic when this surprise attack began and besides that the same barrier surrounding the castle had also been used to improve resistance.
"I thought you might care about your companion."
"I do care."
The two faced each other on top of the wall. Looking to the sides Kai saw that wall with so much protection. If they had attacked head on it would have been difficult to pass through it without several deaths and to make matters worse they did not even know that information. Even though they had been surprised they had still prepared in case something went wrong. It would be better if they could eliminate that earth magic mage.
"Then why did you leave him behind with all those opponents?"
"Sorry but for me that question is stupid. I simply trust him and I'm sure he has a plan if he made a signal for me to focus on you."
"Signal?"
Stepping on the ground a great amount of water filled the wall interrupting any thought his opponent might have had. Kai summoned his sea creatures with a new addition. On the left the hammerhead shark, on the right the great white shark and in the middle an eel releasing electricity through its body like thunder.
"Blue Thunder Eel."
He had made that summon before coming because he thought he would need the maximum amount of resources possible. Since he could only summon one per circle unlocked and this was one of his last summons he could make.
"Attack."
The great white shark immediately moved forward at maximum speed. Volhit defended the shark's bite with his sword. Using cutting magic from the tip of his sword several small cuts pierced the shark's mouth. Raising his sword to perform another attack he brought it down with a large amount of mana embedded in it.
"Concentrated Cut."
His blade landed on the hammerhead shark's skin that had moved in front. All the concentrated magic and the blade itself were launched back toward Volhit's face. Moving his head to the side he managed to dodge leaving a trail of blood on his face. The hammerhead shark that had reflected the attack also had a deep cut in its skin much deeper than the one on his face and because of that the summon disappeared.
'Return home and rest Defen.'
Kai looked at the shark disappearing while moving and creating dozens of images of himself across the battlefield. That entire wall was being surrounded by a giant light generated by Kai's movement.
'I feel bad for always making him fight people stronger.'
Since he was still Circle Six his summons gained the same level. Receiving attacks much stronger than they should endure was only possible once. Volhit grabbed his blade that had left his hand and was spinning in the air and made a downward cut.
"It seems you only have the speed of a Circle Seven, but don't forget that I can move like that too."
Volhit's entire arm seemed to disappear for a second from Kai's sight. When he realized it the entire wall had been covered by thousands of cuts. Moving between them some of those cuts hit his body making him bleed.
"You know I can see where the blood falls and chase you to a place where you might be going before the blood touches the ground."
Volhit appeared behind Kai who was surprised by the ability demonstrated by his opponent. How had he guessed where he would move just by seeing the blood fall through the air? That was incredible and—
'I want to learn that too.'
Kai smiled slightly when the sword was only centimeters from his face. He was not worried about that attack for one simple reason. His eel had finished charging its energy. Volhit suddenly suffered a reversal from the eel that was far away in the distance.
"Gahh."
The power of that attack without a doubt reached the level of a Circle Seven spell. That was because the eel's ability was to accumulate and attack so the longer it waited to strike the stronger the attack became. Blood came out of Volhit's mouth as he was pushed back but even so he kicked the eel sending it flying upward with blood spilling. Kai dismissed the summon because it could not continue fighting after that blow.
"Ocean Magic High Tide."
All the water he had summoned before moved upward striking Volhit with an attack. He did not move much he simply cut the attack with his cutting magic and immediately turned his arm backward and summoned a shield in front of Kai who had left an image in front of him. Easily stopping the sword attack he closed his fist and an explosion from the shield struck Kai sending him backward.
"Now—"
Feeling a bite in his ribs he saw the great white shark that had not yet disappeared biting him with force. Raising his arm he struck the shark with an elbow making it disappear immediately.
"How pathetic—"
"Thank you friend."
Volhit turned toward Kai who was standing up with great difficulty. Truly taking a hit from a Circle Seven at his level was suicide. Spitting blood on the ground he looked at the wound made in Volhit's ribs. That wound would not stop bleeding because that was Turk's ability he could wound someone and make them bleed until one of the two opponents was defeated now with higher levels it would cause nonstop bleeding for only two minutes.
'With this I have more chances to win.'
